When I first posted here, I had only 11 merits and 89 countdown, but I kept updating the post each time I received merit on my posts. I am now 69 merits away from becoming a full member. I'm posting, reading, and learning a lot more things on this forum.

You don't need to update your post every time you get an additional one merit, the way you do it will seem like a spammer in this thread. Do what's best for yourself which can bring you closer to higher rankings. It takes maximum time and effort to get an additional 69 merits, you can walk slowly without having to report the number of remaining merits needed repeatedly here.
Anyone will help you to quickly go to a new level, but you have to rely on yourself to achieve it. Other people can only help, you will determine whether it is worth helping or not.

Actually i was looking for the old Posts on this Thread then i remembered that in Early days i was also there so its good the the Journey i have covered and looking for the next destination.

Alhamdulillah almost reached it, I hope you can soon be in the Hero Member rank. Keep fighting mate, the qualities you have can easily take you one rank higher. I hope you can celebrate the new rank along with the new year's fireworks, never miss a beautiful moment for your success. I can see you have improved from before, the remaining 84 merits you can achieve in two months if you are able to maintain the quality you have.

I haven't really been looking up on this board but, I'd like to appreciate everyone that' has supported me; directly, indirectly..... It's just worth the time, spent to educate and learn things myself too. Right?
It's really worth giving accolades to peeps that stood by me/Us. Someone could read, learn and gets enchanted by your writing style but finds every impossibility in meriting you, YESSS; sometimes, they propose and forget (ion blame 'em, they're too busy with their lives), but for those ones that have decided to look up on our post histories, then it's very fine -- by me -- to say THANK YOU.

I don't think you wanted to beg for merits by doing what you did, and i have seen many member's do the same thing in some topics in the forum, what i feel is that it isn't necessary, and i have read where merit sources have said you should not thank them for giving you merits because that is what they ought to do, give out smerits, you can 'thank' them by giving out your own smerits to other members and helping out around the forum with what you know. But as a form of gratitude, I think this is the right expression for those who have helped us in the forum.
And I believe, sMerit should continue to function as it should, and that's why we do it.

if you want faster to move up the next rank. you can share your quality post in multiple threads from Merit Source. although here there will also be several other members who are willing to review your post when you make your merit countdown. it would be great if you post in a thread from a merit source.

Successfully ranking up is very fun, I've also felt the same feeling when I was successfully promoted to a Hero member. -146 merit is not something that is impossible to get, you can get more than you need if you are able to maintain post quality.

Your chance to be in the Sr Member rank is very big if you want to continue to learn and try consistently, previously there were very many users who managed to rank up as a result of their efforts to improve the quality of posts. Stay optimistic buddy, you have to be sure the Merit system don't prevent anyone from ranking up.

hi @Patrol69, you have good posts but you have to break your post-bursting habit (I saw some of your posts in posts in a short time between 1 post and another), give a minimum pause of 10 minutes - 15 minutes for the next post. I hope you are lucky to grow to the rank of a full member.

Every user who hasn't earned 1000 merit for rank up to Legendary still has to fight for it. I mean, every one of them should try hard to make the best out of the quality of the posts, myself included. But I have no doubt that we will all get it when it comes to quality, but of course sometimes some people lose consistency when they are too relaxed.

Today, I can tell you that my rank distance from Hero rank is 150 merit. I have fulfilled one of the conditions (activity point), so I think now I just need to think about how I can get one of the other conditions, which is merit. It may take a long time, but I'm sure it will be achieved.

At this point, I hope that all your efforts will never be in vain because there are basically a lot of forum users who want to help you rank up. I just think you guys don't have to whine and complain about how to get the merit because most of you already know how it works. Just do what you've been doing all this time, and enjoy the journey until you actually get there.

The fact is that 1000 merit is not something that is impossible for anyone of you who has a good quality post. So try to always improve and keep what you already have. Anything is possible, so be patient and enjoy it so you don't have to keep announcing your countdown every time when few merit add up.

Don't worry buddy, Hero Member has been seen, one of the conditions you need is an additional 150 Merit to go there. I've reviewed some of your posts and left some merits there, the addition of some Merits that you just received certainly won't get you promoted to Hero Member, at least it can speed up your steps for promotion to a higher level.
Always do what's best for the forum, you can do it slowly, without realizing it, you've reached the desired rank.
