You're lucky to have three Arsenal players on your team, that's how everyone felt having three City players in their team before the World Cup, now it's a nightmare having more than one, I'm glad Martinelli gave me something to keep hope alive for the week just when it looked impossible, he's one of the longest serving players in my team, I got him very early and he's been fantastic. It could have been worse though, like having Foden and Cancelo on your team. Pep surely does not bench them both for a third straight game, or is he?

It's certainly frustrating when a player you have on your fantasy team gets subbed off just before the end of a game and misses out on clean sheet points. However, it's important to remember that these kinds of things can happen in soccer and it's just part of the game.
As for whether or not Pep Guardiola will bench players like Foden and Cancelo for a third straight game, it's difficult to say for sure as every situation is different. For value per points, I would go with Saka, I've been sleeping on him for too long, and I feel terrible for not having any Arsenal midfielder right now, I've always preferred Martinelli over either Odegaard or Saka, but I will likely be switching to Saka too very soon especially due to the set piece duties too.

Kevin De Bruyne have been having a not so good return to FPL, especially due to the extreme changes Guardiola have deployed around him, and their next 3-4 fixtures doesn't look any much better either and I don't expect him to be overworked for every of those fixtures, so I'm never going anywhere near him for the time been.

KDB actually looks like the best City player to me, he is still creating so much chances for his players but they are not scoring. I already commented on Pep and his rotations on two other topics so I will not do it here again, but I am blaming him for City loosing 2 points yesterday. If you have such a strong bench with arguably first team players on it, you must give them more than 5 minutes to make an impact.

That is not lucky, that is making a decision, probably a good one, but the process still isn't over. I like Arsenal forwards very much but I was looking at the fixtures before GW17 and decided that Arsenal players are not needed before GW22. Arsenal now has Newcastle, Spurs and United and I did not want to have Arsenal attackers for that run of games. So far I paid for my decision dearly but I hope to get something back along the next 3 game weeks.

I don't think so, I have a feeling only he knows why he prefers some players. While that explanation can work for Cancelo and Walker it is not correct for Foden. This was 6th game in a row where Foden was on the bench (after starting first 12) and got nothing or just some scraps. Also if he wanted to rest some players Haaland and De Bruyne would be the first ones to rest and keep healthy for tougher run of fixtures. City players are a big avoid for me after this and I will be looking to get rid of Foden/Cancelo as soon as possible. Not gonna take minus points for them but will ship them off as opportunity presents itself.

I wasn't banking on any of Tottenham players and I wouldn't have Perisic in too If I knew he wasn't going to be deployed well upfront where he is very effective, Son seemed to be inhibit his performance on that flank and vice versa, and Conte doesn't seem to have an idea about how he wants his squad to look or play.

I'll be getting rid of Darwin soon and probably Trossard, I just feel bad to have lost some 0.2m for hoarding him for two match day weeks

Fantasy is 80% luck and 20% decision making   having three Manchester City players was more profitable than having three Arsenal players before the World Cup, at least for me, because at one point I had two Arsenal attackers and I wasn't getting anything close to what I was getting from the the City players I later had, but now having those City players is worse than having three Chelsea players, can you say we those who had Foden, Cancelo, and Walker made a wong decision ? Fantasy for a weekly prize could be 95% luck and 5% decision making but luck would mostly never get you the grand prizes for the 38 weeks runs, so it's more like 70% decision making and 20% risk taken chances, and finally 10% luck as far the entire 38 week is concerned, look at who is 1st placed in our pool currently check his entire history from GW1 - till now, and tell me a single week where you think he only got lucky, I don't remember him being in the top 5 for the first week right, but the slow and steady progress is more of a factor decision strategy and almost zero luck.

I finally made the choice, and I'm rid of Darwin Nunez, I just couldn't have another blank week from him, I brought in and opted for Mitrovic as my captain for the gameweek and my decision is solely guided by their double fixtures, it was just to hard to ignore despite being at a risk of the 5th yellow, It only made sense due to Leicester struggle defensively, and Man City also facing Chelsea, I could have stick with Haaland if they're playing a less tougher team, and Guardiola may also decide to go mehh again.

It was a tough call to decide between keeping Pope or bring in Ward to be between the sticks, I however settled for Ward at least because of Arsenal's prowess in front of goal, but I kept Tripper in, there way too much to him than just the chances of a clean sheet.

The festival season is so busy that I completely forgot about GW19 and made no transfers. I believe my team is in good shape, but I had planned to acquire Saka, get rid of KDB, and retain Darwin until GW20. The only way I'm going to make it through this round is if I get a little bit lucky this time.

I am on Mitrović band wagon, there just isn't a better player for this double GW. Of course it can back fire like everything in fantasy but he should do good. For any chance of me getting a nice green arrow I need Pep roulette to come on my number for once and then Cancelo/Foden to do something. So far I am happy with my choice to sell Nunez for Mitrović,. It was between him and Martial for me and Martial just has the better fixture and possible double in GW 21.

I get your drift but my thought process for the decision is that assuming both players go blank and Mitrovic doesn't pick up a yellow card against Leicester he'd get 4 points that's twice what Haaland would get.

I'm glad to be rid of Nunez already, and I might likely go the same route for Salah too once Cody Gakpo gets his playing chance, he's quite cheap at just 8.0m as I predicted the day after Liverpool announced his signing.

I believe the Guardiola would all out against Chelsea so I think Foden and Cancelo should definitely get back into the starting XI all things being considered, however it's not going to be an easy fixture still imo.

In FPL, the present is more important than the past, and having expensive players does not always guarantee points; sometimes they are just a waste of space. As a result, both players are no longer reliable.

I'm yet to own Kevin De Bruyne for just a single game week in team so far, but it's not due to how highly or not I rate him, because I consider him to be the best Man City player even ahead of Haaland, but my problems lies on him person and what amount of points I can get from him, Saka for Arsenal right now is a must use option for as often as he's available, even though their upcoming fixtures are very tough ones, I still expect a number of Arsenal goals to go through Saka and/or Martinelli, I guess that's the the same reason why a lot of us go for strikers like Ivan Toney and Mitrovic, because they're often the major source of goal for their team, but a team like City have a vast number of alternatives, but we're all on the Haaland train simply because of his consistency and max playing time.
