Arsenal - Manchester City

The match is the most interesting this weekend in my opinion and it seems quite difficult to predict, I don't know if Man City's performance has improved or not but in the previous match Man City was able to beat Chelsea when playing at the Etihad stadium I am curious what Man City will do when playing as a guest in this match because if you look at their statistics so far Arsenal is better and more consistent I might bet on BTTS which has odds @1.66.

Several interesting matches were presented this week, one of which was Arsenal vs Manchester City, both top teams in the English Premier League, it is very difficult to predict who will come out on top.
Manchester City is in the best performance after winning over Chelsea in last week's match but I still doubt it because Manchester City will play at home while Arsenal have a big chance in this match and have had good results in their last few matches.

Very tough game to predict right now because Manchester City has shown improvements in the Premier League lately and Arsenal is not in a bad form either and i think the game will stand as a test to see if Arsenal will continue in the chase for the title since they are already 6 points behind the league leaders Liverpool. The last two times both teams met at the Etihad Stadium they ended in draw but i doubt if they will play draw at the Emirates Stadium. Manchester City and Arsenal were basically in form when they met last time which made their strength Balanced and now again they are both in form even though Arsenal is above City in the league table but since Manchester City still have a long gap against Liverpool who is topping the table, it will be better for Arsenal to win and maintain the gap between them and Liverpool.

Odds makers don't have much confidence in Man City winning tomorrow apparently, but I have some faith in them. If everything clicks and if they avoid stupid mistakes in defence, I can easily imagine them leaving London with 3 points.

If Arsenal don't win on Sunday and if Liverpool beat Bournemouth today (they're x1.73 favourite) and earn 3 points in the derby against Everton on Wed (odds: x1.41), then Liverpool could slowly start celebrating as 11-12 points gap would be just to big for Arsenal to catch up. But I don't think the Bournemouth game will be easy.

But personally I have a strong feeling that this match Man City will win. Or the bad result is just a draw. So I will choose from both options but my strongest choice is Man City to win to get bigger odds.

Regarding the Bournemouth vs Liverpool match, I'm not sure Liverpool will win. Because as I said in Utas for a long time if it seems like some Liverpool's main players will be absent from this match. So that very definite results are only 2 choices between Liverpool winning or drawing. Next I will take a greater risk to bet on Bournemouth over 1.5 with odds @2.43. Because I'm sure if the Bournemouth attack line is also very good and will score 2 scores more easily.

It is a big challenge for Guardiola to do well in the next few matches. I would say that Guardiola now has to decide whether he wants to do well in the Champions League or the Premier League. Manchester City will play against Madrid in the Champions League play-offs. And the chances of Manchester City winning this match are very low. So I would say that Guardiola should now focus more on the Premier League matches.

Manchester City players were able to play very well in the last two matches against Club Brugge and Chelsea. Manchester City's squad still has some weaknesses. However, the players were very confident in these two matches. So even though the opponent was strong, Manchester City was able to win.

Manchester City may wan to rest some players in this game which may reduce their opportunities to win this match because some of their key players they may consider dropping them against the Real Madrid's game, which some times. Coaches fall into this mistakes of reserving their players for a crucial game ahead so they don't sustain injuries, whereas leaving their immediate game or a game at hand with lesser attention, but these two games are still crucial for Manchester City, even if it happens they've lost hope of the trophy, they need to win their games to be able to stay on the top 4 leaders board and to quality for next seasons champions league.

The match between Bournemouth today was very tight and full of controversy, both teams were able to present many dangerous attacks throughout the match and even quite feasible if we say that today's match is a big match even though Bournemouth is not a big team, since the match started, Bournemouth was immediately able to pressure Liverpool and several times they managed to endanger the Liverpool goal but unfortunately the excitement of today's match must be robbed by the referee after the blind decision he made, I think the referee decision to give a penalty today was very wrong because indeed Gakpo stumbled with his own foot which made him fall, today's match seems to be indeed Bournemouth in an unlucky condition because of a penalty, the goal was disallowed for offside and also several shots that were actually thwarted by the post and crossbar

I guess we can say Liverpool finished the job against Bournemouth with Salah's beautiful goal already.    He is a beast! Scoring so many goals and making assists in the same way is just so extra effort by him this season. It must be 21 goals, 13 assists after these 2 goals.

And this guy is leaving at the end of the season. I can't believe it... Why wouldn't Liverpool approach him for a contract extension? Just why man?    Salah waited for that offer for some time and he decided to leave after seeing no interest. I mean of course there isn't anything guaranteed for next season. Salah performs at the highest level for now. But I wouldn't still like to lose a player like this easily. You just give him another year and see if he performs badly. In that case you decide to part ways.

Nottingham Forest continue to perform brilliantly. They scored 7 goals against Brighton & Hove Albion and sent them home. Chris Wood made a hat-trick. In total, he took his league goal tally to 17 in 24 games. He has already surpassed last season's tally. It's not every team that can find strikers like that. If a team's striker is scoring well, that team will be at the top places of the table. It's not surprising that Nottingham Forest are in the top 3. They play well and score goals easily. You have to admire what they have done this season.

Nottingham Forest that was one way of responding after an embarrassing week just last week losing by 5goals to nil, and to win against a Brighton side that I thought will be stubborn..you beat them 7 nil, that's a brutal scoreline and a message for all team's that are yet to face them to take them seriously!!

I was thinking Bournemouth would give Liverpool a tough challenge but it wasn't all difficult for them cause they got a messiah, (Salah) that made it easy for them to secure another 3 points and remain at the top, Mo Salah is a wonderful player, he's full of surprises and would be missed in the Premier League when he leaves, according to the news, there's high possibility of him leaving during the summer, am pretty sure most Liverpool fans would be hoping they find a way to negotiate another deal for him even though it's for a year or two but then it would be tough to retain him cause this summer, one of the Saudi clubs would come with an offer that Liverpool would find it difficult to reject, Salah did a great job today, I enjoyed watching him play and was wishing players like Rashford would emulate him but then pride won't let him be humble and loyal to his coach. Anyways, who else thinks nothing would stop Liverpool from winning this season's trophy?

Difficult question to answer because the management knows why Mohamed Salah has not been offered a new contract proposal.
We want Mohamed Salah to stay with a contract duration of up to two seasons because he is now 32 years old. If the new contract is for two years, at least Mohamed Salah can still help Liverpool for one more season.

The victory over Bournemouth was very valuable and Mohamed Salah's performance has always been good. It's just that his role in this match was quite prominent with the two goals he scored.

That five nil loss was just an unlucky result for Nottingham forest and is never an indication that they are not a good team or that any other team that comes at them can hope to get that kind of result again. If you take out Liverpool, there is no team that is as strong and consistent like Nottingham forest and today's seven Nile trashing speaks volume of that fact. Arsenal vs Manchester City is already a big game that will be happening tomorrow regardless of the outcome, it gives them chance of redeeming themselves from that massive loss against gives them strong assurance that top two is very possible before the end of the season.

The momentum is already high and with city, Liverpool and arsenal already getting to the point when there attention will be more on the champions League, it's going to be easier for Nottingham forest to break into the top and reduce the gap that Liverpool And arsenal has above them.

Liverpool have recently managed to win a match against Bournemouth, But yesterday we saw the worst performance from this team, meaning they lost a match yesterday. Bournemouth of a truth have been on a very good run in the English Premier League in recent weeks which was why many were expecting them to at least get a point today in their home game against Liverpool but hey, they're playing against a Liverpool that's being the best performing team in the league this season. I did stake on the game but lost my bets because I went with the option of BTTS which at the end finished 2:0 in favour of the away team.
I saw how impressive Bournemouth were today and if you ask me, I think they'll do better when facing other clubs in the league.
