Arsenal has been looking for a striker who can be of a great use for them next season. Recently their target is said to be Osimhen.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-transfer-osimhen-garcia-sambilokonga-33121402

It would be a wonderful transfer honestly.  Smiley  Osimhen is one of the most talented strikers available in today's football. We have all seen what he was capable of under a solid management of Spalletti. I don't have any doubt about him with Arteta either. Because Arteta is a manager who handles young talents like him quite well. We have witnessed that so far by their being very competitive for a Premier League title for two years.  Smiley

He would cost Arsenal a lot of money though but sacrifices need to be made for greater success.
To be honest, for now I may doubt that Arsenal can realize the transfer, Arsenal do need a central striker to be able to replace the position of Jesus and Niketiah who have indeed failed to carry out their duties well so far, but Arsenal's interest in Osimhen is of course only limited to an issue that is likely to make their fans disappointed again,  Osimhen is a pretty good striker and has a very high goalscoring instinct, so indeed if the transfer can be realized, of course Arsenal will have a very dangerous attacking line next season with Martinelli/Trossard, Osimhen and Saka.

Currently, there are many issues that associate Arsenal with many players including strikers, but in fact we have not seen a single transfer that has indeed become a reality, compared to other teams in the EPL, Arsenal is actually very passive in getting their current target players so it is not surprising that they continue to be sabotaged by rival teams in the competition to get new players,  Currently, Arsenal is linked with many players and is no different from what happened last season but in fact, until the transfer market closed, Arsenal did not bring in a single new player and clearly disappointed their fans.

I have big doubts on a probability like Guardiola to work with Manchester United after leaving his current job.  Sad  It is Manchester City's direct rival we are talking about above all else.

Besides Guardiola would need a lot of time to turn Manchester United into just the kind of a team he would like. Who knows how much money they would need to spend. Even now it is said they are planning a name change on their stadium to attract sponsors. Obviously their finances aren't in good shape then. Aside from that, I would like to see them not needing Guardiola at all. I just wish to see Erik ten Hag making a big improvement this season.  Smiley

It's really just a rumor, because even though Manchester United have the money to appoint Pep Guardiola but I am fully confident that Pep Guardiola will not accept Manchester United offer. Just look at how Pep Guardiola's coaching career, it is clear that Pep Guardiola has only been a manager at one club in different leagues. Barcelona-La Liga, Bayern Munich-Bundesliga and Manchester City-Premier League. Thus,  then ofcourse Pep Guardiola will not accept an offer from any team again in the Premier League, just like Klopp who will not accept an offer from another Premier League team after resigning as Liverpool manager. Therefore, about Pep Guardiola being linked with Manchester United, it is very clear that it is just a rumor that will certainly never happen.

I don't even see a reason for discussing a possible move for Guardiola to Manchester United. Maybe he would even like to retire or give a long break when he leaves Manchester City.

He started his coach career in 2007 with Barcelona B. 17 years... It is quite a big career so I wouldn't be surprised to see him making a similar decision to Klopp.  Smiley  Jim Ratcliffe is continuing with Erik ten Hag, however... He might be running out of patience at the same time.

Erik ten Hag should plan his next season very carefully. Right transfers can change everything for them. I hope that they don't face a big injury problem like they did previously. It really affects deeply.  Sad

When it comes to club football, the level of rivalry between clubs plays a major role in the transfer of players and managers from one club to another. There's a strong rivalry between the two Manchester clubs and that's why you don't usually see players and managers that impacted hugely on one of the clubs join the other and the few that threaded that path ended up becoming a villain to the fans of the other club they first managed or played. Pep Guardiola as we all know is the greatest manager in the history of Manchester City and that's because of his incredible achievements with the club which includes winning the English Premier League title in six different occasions as well as helping the club win their first UEFA Champions League title so for a manager that's respected and worshipped by Manchester City, I don't think Guardiola will ever want to manage another English Premier League side talk more of becoming the coach of their city neighbors Manchester United.
The speculations that Pep Guardiola is going to join Manchester United in the future are all mere rumors and I strongly do not think it's ever gonna happen in the future.

Your last paragraph summarized everything and it is the most honest paragraph I have read. First, you said that right transfers can change everything for them and that is very true. If the Manchester United management could release some fund and get good and sustainable players for Erik10 I believe he will do well. You also stated that you hope that injury will not affect the squad. This was what happened to Manchester United squad last season. They do not have a very good squad depth but the available ones were grossly injured and they were not available for majority of this season. This was a very big set back to the club.

For the news of Guardiola switching to Manchester United, I'm trying to understand where the news is coming from. Will that even be possible? It is just a wishful thinking.

Bringing in Antony at a large cost but with minimal contribution. When the coach's wishes are fulfilled by the amount of money that Manchester United spent when bringing in Antony, it could be proof that their management is serious about realizing Erik ten Hag's wishes.
Previously the management agreed to a large fee, they must have believed in the coach's choice that the player was good. In fact not and we feel that the coach's strategy is not good.
Last season, it wasn't the recruited players who played a role, but academy players like Garnacho and Mainoo.

They have been talking about the same two people for nearly a year now and it is becoming a boring thing if you ask me. They said they are going to either get Osimhen if they can, and if they can't then they are going to get Isak, those are their only options. I suggested Sorloth for them, looks like haaland-esque player, very tall, northerner, powerful and talented young player who could do very well for them, but I have never seen them even be interested.

So I am sure that they are going to get either Osimhen or Isak, and this should end pretty soon because it has been too long and there is no need to make this talk so long, it is just transfer, you offer money, if they agree it ends, if they don't you negotiate and by this time that should have ended too.

You can't pin the whole little success on the academy players but indeed this academy boys did impress with their style of play especially mainoo who helped converted the second goal that sealed united FA cup Victory hopes against all odds with their match up their city rivals and no one was expecting such an impact from the youngster but at the right moment he delivered.

We don't think much about the Guardiola issue you mentioned.

Yeah, there isn't even any need to discuss this topic much longer. It isn't happening now and it won't happen ever most probably also.  Smiley

I'm excitedly waiting for transfers by top teams this summer. I don't expect Manchester City to sign many players though. Their squad is already complete. Maybe just a few touches might be seen to improve squad depth.

You have already mentioned Arsenal's intentions. They are looking for a reliable scorer and they should push all the way for Osimhen definitely. I'm wondering what Arne Slot's plans for Liverpool will be too.

Manchester United is surely going to be very active to be more successful next time. Starting with centre-backs is clever.  Wink

Individually Osimhen is quite good, but last season Osimhen's performance declined slightly due to the injury he suffered.

This is a good target for Arsenal, but it is not easy for Arsenal to get it because Napoli is trying to keep Osimhen and there are also several other teams who are ready to make an offer.
I am a little pessimistic about Arsenal being able to get him because Arsenal is not a team that is ready to spend big money on a player.
I think the entire performance of Napoli declined last season not only victor osimhen because even during the African nations cup, he performed extremely well, though the injury he had partly affected him a little. If Arteta wants to go for him, that's also a good option because arsenal doesn't have a finisher of that calibre, just the way Manchester city have Erling Haaland who is always at the goal mouth to tap in. Looking at the posture of Napoli, I doubt if they will release him. If arsenal can spend such huge amount of money to buy Declan Rice, I don't see the big deal there in spending something good too to get osimhen.

We don't think much about the Guardiola issue you mentioned.
Most recently, Manchester United will give Erik ten Hag the opportunity and Erik ten Hag's contract extension proposal will be completed in the near future by adding several staff to help Erik ten Hag's work next season.
Manchester United still have hopes for Erik Ten Hag rather than other coaches with the proposal that will be a little more completed to add Manchester United's confidence let alone add some staff, is this also Erik Ten Hag's wish?
It could be true that Erik ten Hag's wish was fulfilled by Manchester United's management to make it easier for him to provide what the club expects. It would be easy for Manchester United to make a decision on Erik Ten Hag's future if he fails to meet expectations when all his wishes are fulfilled and there is no reason to justify himself if Erik ten Hag fails.

I just want to know what will be done when the season starts soon, whether this will make a good enough change or the team remains stagnant like the previous season, more great with two FA trophies, Erik Ten Hag can survive but it's a good thing they can win trophies rather than nothing.
We don't know because the league season hasn't started yet. Maybe it's in the preparation stage so that next season is better. If the league season has started, I can answer according to the results we see.
The FA Cup is a small target that may not be a measure of Erik Ten Hag's success.

For me not to completely criticize Ten Hag, I will only agree that he is a good coach, but Manchester United is too big for him to manage.

Just as you said, Manchester United management gave him all the chances he needed and all the support he will need just to sign his desired players, he signed them and they couldn’t perform up to expectations, and the main problem is that, the players he met that are doing well for the team, his personal relationship with them made them leave the team which has caused the team a lot of downfall.

I don’t want him to be sacked now because even if he is sacked, I don’t think there is any good manager out there that can take Manchester United back to its past glory.
All we have to hope is a better season if Ten Hag is given more money to sign more players.

Look into his eyes, look at his ambition and anger, you will definitely find Antony as the most serious player coming from the bench to replace his partner on the field. Can you feel all that?

I'm also not really sure whether Manchester United management will provide more budget for Ten Hag to build his squad. Ten Hag needs stronger and more passionate defenders like Antony, but maximizing academy players is also not a mistake. Garnacho and Mainoo are two good and eye-catching talents, but Manchester United need defenders and wingers who are much more creative than Antony and Rashford.

It would be easy for Manchester United to make a decision on Erik Ten Hag's future if he fails to meet expectations when all his wishes are fulfilled and there is no reason to justify himself if Erik ten Hag fails.
What Erik Ten Hag needs now will be fulfilled by the club's management because it has reached an agreement, with some of the staff selected maybe it is what is wanted, is it Van Nistelrooy? the same Dutch? It might also be easier for Erik Ten Hag to communicate if the staff are from the same country as him.
If he fails to meet expectations, it is certain that Erik Ten Hag has failed despite being given the opportunity.

I just want to know what will be done when the season starts soon, whether this will make a good enough change or the team remains stagnant like the previous season, more great with two FA trophies, Erik Ten Hag can survive but it's a good thing they can win trophies rather than nothing.

Yes we can't judge now, this is just speculation we are talking about the rest we will see the League will start in mid-August, this is how we see the development of Erik Ten Hag.
But the hope of Manchester United fans is that there will be a change for the better where the club improves defensively although not necessarily directly.

I never wanted him to join Arsenal truthfully due to some personal reasons but look at him, linked to Arsenal, if they get this done, then next season, Victor Oshime will definitely help Arsenal win the Premier League Competition for the first since 2004.

I agree to that, he has been a solid player for both Napoli and  Nigerian whenever he is in a good state ( Fit )... Exactly, he had a great season under Spalletti as he was also able to win the highest goalscorer award for him last two seasons. He will fit in well into that squad but are they also interested in Victor Oshime?

Even with all Arsenal did last two seasons they couldn't afford it, lets see what the arrival of Victor Oshime would do. But I haven't clarified of they're hugely interested in this guy. So many Injuries and also leaving for the African Cup of Nations Competitions has taken most of his energy.
Nevertheless, he was still able to find himself amongst the top scorers for Napoli last season yet again.

Oh yes and as a matter of fact Manchester City is yet to make any official commitment over making any major transfer deal against next season. But I know Pep Guardiola is smart enough to tell you his plans and will be working towards a sustainable team again for the next season.

Secondly,I will be one of the most excited guys to see Osimhen play for Arsenal because they need the goal finisher too to convert most of the goal opportunities they had in the last season. Osimhen is a goal machine who can assist the guys including Saka to make those opportunities goal

It will definitely be a rumor because their is no way pep will accept to go to Manchester United. I can say if they have the money or not, because of some various reasons pep already laid down a good foundation on Manchester City so you don't expect him to just waste all of his effort just like that. And pep is one of the best coach have seen based on what he has accomplished.  Is record is set right already. And if you look at clubs he as managed they are doing very well during is management this is a sign that pep is a smart man. It is better for him to stay with Manchester City because qm sure next season they will renew his contract with Manchester City. This  clearly shows that his not going anywhere.

Of course, I am not pinning on all of their academy players who play a good role every time they are entrusted with players other than Mainoo and Garnacho. Only the two of them have a place in the main squad this season, so not all of them.

Mainoo and Garnacho are players without management spending money but their appearances are more expensive than Antony who is seen as a celebrity.
In this season's transfer window we will see Erik Ten Hag bringing in players so that when he is unable to achieve great success, Erik Ten Hag's bad fix is not management.

The problem is that Arsenal are known to be quite stingy in the transfer market, and Osimhen price is around €100M.
Apart from needing a striker, Arsenal also has to buy a reliable goalkeeper and a good defensive midfielder while Arsenal transfer budget for the next season is probably only around €140M or less than that.
So if Osimhen's price is under €100M, 99% we will see him playing for Arsenal in the next season.

Therefore, about Pep Guardiola being linked with Manchester United, it is very clear that it is just a rumor that will certainly never happen.
This manager always likes to take on new challenges. He did well for the teams he accepted the challenges of the new teams and then left that club to take charge of a new club. If there is a rumor that Manchester United has offered this manager, then it is not a matter of disbelief because Manchester United currently has the biggest problem with the manager.

There are also rumors that Manchester City may leave the current manager, Pep Guardiola.
Manchester United may have wanted to take this opportunity and that's why Red Devil club management offered this manager to take charge of Manchester United.
