I did expect Chelsea to win the game because Tottenham on their own have not been very good they are inconsistent, Chelsea is having a better season than they are doing right now, Tottenham have not had so grate luck with injuries and they do not have a very good attack, the midfield is not so good at all, They have some new players who are trying to get used to the playing system are they do have some young players who needs time to get used to the league and dont possesses so much experience,
The game is a more important game for Chelsea who are fighting for Top 4 place and Tottenham are actually fighting for nothing right now, i believe there season is over and they should focus on the European League

It looks like you missed something because the game ended a few hours before you wrote this post and Chelsea have already taken 3 points in a game that was quite heated in terms of tension and pace.

Actually if I can conclude in this game it looks that the only thing that is hotter is the style of play where there are a lot of fouls and cards that occur in this match but when it comes to actual opportunities I don't see anything that can really be said to be extraordinary because indeed both clubs look a little cautious in carrying out attacking schemes that make it not too optimal.

Fortunately in this case Tottenham did not have a good enough finisher so Chelsea got more with 1 goal from Enzo because if this did not happen then they could have lost 3 points.

Isak is having a wonderful season...



Such a good progress in a year!    He is certainly on the transfer list of some big teams this summer.

No doubt Arsenal would be among those teams. Because they really need such a capable striker from now on.    Saka is back yeah but not enough. If they want to play for the Premier League title for real then this is the way going there. Arteta already knows that so he doesn't deny the fact they need a good striker. Gabriel Jesus isn't able to play due to a series of injuries. He should be benched and they should bring a striker like Isak, Gyökeres or someone else like them.

Years ago, Isak was considered as a striker who can replace Ibrahimovic in Sweden but in many years he did not meet this expectation before this season. This season is truly amazing for Isak and he can continue it like Mohamed Salah who was not a world class player before his transfer to Liverpool. It can be a late growth of Isak but he is not old and still have several seasons to perform like this and somewhat meet expectation from Newcastle United and Sweden.

Premier League top four race now is clearer, with Nottingham Forest (57 points), Chelsea (52 points), Manchester City (51 points), Newcastle United (49 points but have 1 match) and Aston Villa (48 points). Brighton have 47 points but I don't think they are able to get in top four with many big clubs are competing for it like the aforementioned list. If Newcastle United win the late match, they will gain 52 points and get in a fifth position that can be enough for joining Champions League next season but they actually want a fourth position to be sure.

Tottenham lol, they are so bad, inconsistent and complacent in books that I don't even rate them anymore, if they lose I won't be surprised and I only get surprised when they win, what an irony. The only luck Tottenham has this season is that the teams behind them are not really doing well if not, I think Tottenham would have almost been in the relegation zone but as it is like this, they are actually well above that very zone and maybe that's why they are actually playing and losing points at will this period. 34 points and in the 14th position for a team like Tottenham.

I won't be surprised Tottenham lost last night because they've been attacked since kickoff. I'm just surprised Chelsea won with only 1 goal because they had many chances to score a lot of goals. Their attack in the early minutes is accurate enough, they have good passing to on front, but Jackson is still barren, and on a few occasions are still can not convert into goals by another player. Cole Palmer play his role for this time, his passing welcomed well by Enzo Fernandes which I think can be his best goal for chelsea. Now, Tottenham in a difficult phases, they have only won on Europa League on the last 6 matches, that's their only hope to remain in the European competition for next session.

The favorite team in this match was Chelsea and they got full points. Tottenham players tried to finish the match goalless. The team tried to get 1 point from this match. But they failed. In the first half I did not see any strong attack from Tottenham players. Tottenham's performance was slow. However, after conceding a goal in the second half, Tottenham tried to score. But the team could not score a single goal.

Such a decline for a big team like Tottenham is sad. Tottenham is in 14th place in the points table. Although the team is not likely to fall into the relegation zone. However, it will not be possible for the team to get into the top 10 of the table.

It's not surprised me why Isaak's release clause has been going up so hard. He's so clinical as a striker, and getting better from week to the another week. He deserves to be priced more than 100m.

I only wonder whether the big clubs have money to sign him. We have seen how they're always feel so reluctant in paying more than 100m for a striker, though it's worthy with what they would get.

As for Arsenal's rumor linked to him, i think this won't be coming true. It's because they have to sell a lot before able to sign him as their striker. I'd rather believe Isaak goes to the Liverpool instead of them.

It will be a huge improvement for him to join in Liverpool.

Chelsea have improved their record due to which they have become quite strong and their match winning list is being made. If they win their next matches also, they can become even stronger. Chelsea have lost against Tottenham by 1 goal which is acceptable because Chelsea is not that strong which is why they had to lose. Chelsea team will have to improve their performance which will improve their performance and record and this will enable them to advance in the title race. Whether their performance in the next matches will be good or bad depends on how they play and how much pressure there will be on the opposing team which will enable them to succeed.It is a little difficult to predict their next performance as they may also be vulnerable due to pride in the next match.

Im really but really surprised by Ange being still on his spot, i mean with this season is to fire him from a long time ago. He is doing worst than ever, and the team feels and play horrible, for worst for him and the team the stars of the team are now also in that sintony and for example Son is now a shadow of the player he was.

Tottenham's morale has not fully returned after losing points in three consecutive games but strangely they are better in the Europa League. On the other hand, Tottenham do not have many great players. If it continues like this I am sure Sonny will not survive.

Yes. In this match Chelsea played better, Chelsea's game is slowly starting to develop, besides they still need to improve their defense and strength in scoring goals. The coach must also motivate the players to be consistent in facing any opponent because another problem with Chelsea is when they play against strong teams, they are always good, but when they play against weak teams, they often lose points for no reason.

Tottenham and Man United are both bad this season, even the league has entered the 30th match but they do not have 40 points, they will be in a relegation battle. This is very interesting for us to watch until the end of the season.

Amorim's excuse would be that he didn't start the season with Manchester United but took over from Erik Ten Hag half-way and most of the players he's currently working with are not fit for his tactics and that's understandable moreover Manchester United didn't really back him up well in the January window, the team lack quality especially in the final third so they couldn't score more goals or win consistenly, it's quite a difficult task and any coach who took over same squad would suffer similar situation, however this is Postecoglou 2nd season in the EPL, he finished 5th position in his 1st season therefore he's supposed to improve the squad instead of them declining, I won't blame Tottenham's board if they sack him and if Amorim don't improve Manchester's squad to something better than this next then it would be fair enough for INEOS to sack him, but they'll have to give him a second chance to sign his own preferred players and try to do better, we'll from the informations I gathered from Manchester United's news channels it seem they're thinking of long-term with Amorim,  that's if he does better next season.

Does Levy just use this club as a place for himself and others to make money (business)?

From what we've seen played out so for many seasons now with Spurs, we can affirm to thus fact, despite Tottenhams all seasons relentless effort in the Premier League to lift the cup, they have not attempted to lift the premier league trophy for the past decades, I kind of wonder how players that plays for the club how they feel about this situation and what's their hopes,  if I'm someone that is looking for trophy to lift, I won't ever dream of going to Tottenham,  except during my retirement age I may consider spending my time their since are nothing to worry about.

Sometimes making quick decision to sack coach is not the solution to the team’s problem, it used to be a financial setback for the team because they have to settle the coach and his staff, and they have to sign new coach that will have to come with new ideas if signing set of players which will surely result to the club spending extra money because they can’t make good money from their players anymore, so they have to sell the players cheap to raise money for another set of players and it will cause the team more money than expected.

Ange tried his best last season, he looks like a good coach, but the nature of the competition was in the Premier League this season is intense, and I think injuries also suffered the team couple with lack of confidence among the players; but they have good squad that could have compete for the top four.

However, if Tottenham is able to win the UEFA Europa League, they will leave Ange to try again next season.
