That means it is quite unfortunate.
If this is the fact, then the players who are willing to play for Tottenham Hotspur only hope that the national team coach can call them to strengthen their respective countries.
It could also be that playing at Spurs will be the beginning for them to be glanced at by other clubs.

Okay, if you want to put the coach as the main source behind the players' dreams of never achieving a trophy at Spurs, before Ange, there were names like Conte and Nuno. Now Nuno is performing great with Nottingham.

2 seasons left behind and still 0 success by Ange Postecoglou... Tottenham even downgraded in the Premier League in these seasons. What a pity!  Sad

Probably he will get sacked soon. The Europa League is his only hope to stay. But nothing below winning the trophy would be acceptable by the board undoubtedly. Of course, he also knows he is under high pressure. We will see how he handles it. If he gets sacked then just please bring someone who is really a good fit for the job. Tottenham is always called a loser but it isn't impossible to change this. If only they had better signings and the right manager to handle the team decently...

The sacking of the coach will also not change the discussion we are discussing - if it is true that the owner of Spurs only treats this as a business and I am not accusing for sure but based on assumptions.
Now, from the sources I searched on google, the owner of Tottenham is ENIC International Ltd which is chaired by Levy. ENIC not only dominates its shares in Spurs but also in others.

There is no need for us to go into too much detail about that, but what we want to say is that if it is true that this is only for business interests, then a great coach will not make Spurs fans see their favorite team lifting the trophy at the end of the season.

This weekend is a little confusing to me because of the odds given to some matches which I felt are direct wins. For instance,  Arsenal was given 2.2 odds at away to win Everton, Liverpool was given 1.8 odd to win Fulham while Chelsea was given 2.35 odd to win Brentford. These are all matches I felt are direct wins even though they are all playing at away. Hover, from my experience, when the odds is this good, not all of them win win so we should expect a big team to lose match this weekend. I just hope it's not Liverpool or Arsenal.

A full set of odds for this weekend (+ Mon) matchday 31:

Everton x4.20 Vs Arsenal FC x1.96; Draw x3.33
Crystal Palace x2.42 Vs Brighton & Hove Albion x2.83; Draw x3.50
Ipswich Town x2.80 Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers x2.60; Draw x3.25
West Ham United x3.00 Vs Bournemouth x2.36; Draw x3.40
Aston Villa FC x2.05 Vs Nottingham Forest x3.60; Draw x3.50
Brentford x3.10 Vs Chelsea x2.16; Draw x3.75
Fulham x4.25 Vs Liverpool FC x1.81; Draw x3.75
Tottenham Hotspur x1.40 Vs Southampton x6.66; Draw x5.33
Manchester United x3.33 Vs Manchester City x2.12; Draw x3.60
Leicester City x6.00 Vs Newcastle United x1.48; Draw x4.75

I think the most interesting one is the Manchester derby: Man United Vs. Man City. In their last clash, United came up victorious with a 2-1 win. Both teams had problems with underperformance this season, and both showed signs of improvement, but they are far from their prime.
The City is the favourite, but home advantage could be a big factor here.

Honestly, seeing how Levy still keeps Ange as Tottenham coach makes me believe he wanna destroys his own club. His club got several bad results in a row, and nothing changed from their habit. Logically, it makes sense to sack Ange, but nothing happened.

I guess his stubborness to keep the current coach will for his club to pay a lot. His club won't get europa league, get less income as placed at the bottom, and yeah no fucking change in the next season.

Can the city say that Tottenham is not a club that does not prioritize trophies at the end of each season?
Does Levy just use this club as a place for himself and others to make money (business)?
If so, then every player who wants a trophy while playing for Spurs will never happen. Kane and Lloris are examples of players who have never felt what it's like to lift a trophy until they finally had to leave Tottenham.

Ange has given trophies to the clubs he coached before coaching Spurs. At Celtic he was successful. At Yokohama, Ange was also able.
Why not at Tottenham? It seems that the question above that I asked, the answer is probably yes.
Who are we to blame for Tottenham’s failures in the Premier League? Is it Ange Postecoglou, the players or the club mentality? Ange Postecoglou is a sound manager with a good record in the clubs he’s previously managed. Tottenham have been lucky to have some of the best players in their squad, Son, Harry Kane, Gareth Bale and the likes and still they could not win a trophy. Most of the players went on to join other clubs and they won trophies. Harry Kane is the most recent player to leave Tottenham and it looks like he’s going to win his first trophy this season. So it’s pretty clear to me that the problem is the club’s mentality.

Well I think liverpool May likely win Fulham but I can't possibly predict that of  arsenal and everton because their odd keep increasing, I could remember the first time I checked thier odd it was around 1.96 just within that range but all of a sudden the odd have now increase to 2.2 that's to show that the match will be a little bit tough for arsenal. Moreover, everton is not that easy to be defeated more especially when they're playing with bigger teams, If you look at thier previous meeting that ended with the score of 0:0 it was not that easy for arsenal, and back then Everton is not that good in their performance  so now that they have improved who knows what will happen. I'm suspecting that this thier returning leg May likely end up with 1:1 draw.

Chelsea delivered the win as bookies expected because this Tottenham team is just not the competitive team we once knew...
Well I wouldn't see it that way, Tottenham have their good moments, but like every team there are times when their bad run becomes a target for many and in the PL it's clear that those teams that have a bad run should be taken advantage of , if not ask City, which is a team that everything has gone wrong for and went from being the best to being one that any team can beat even at this moment, so I think Spurs need to do something quickly and correct themselves, they can't and shouldn't stay so far behind, this PL for me has already been taken by Liverpool.

Tottenham have actually done a good job for a few games at the start of the season but halfway through the season until now their performance has been disrupted and it is undeniable that compared to the previous few seasons I think this is the worst season for Tottenham and inevitably we have to admit this because after all, looking at the results they received and the current standings, Tottenham are quite bad.

The pattern of their game actually hasn't changed much, it's just that the difference for now is that they don't have good finishing and their defense is quite weak for the size of a big club. Although the beginning of the season they are good but when they do not do their job well towards the end of this season then we cannot say they are good enough because after all for now they must realize and improve themselves to be better because their performance is quite bad this season.

There is nothing confusing because Premier League is always have things which give surprises currently few teams are trying to overcome which are interesting Everton is amazing after David Moyes arrival which giving them good boost, and they are capable of giving Arsenal challenge.

Fulham is also having impressive season while Liverpool feeling tired after good season their performance is also on decline which giving good chance to their opponents to have good performance Chelsea is also not consistent which is going to visit Brentford in last 10 games they won only 3 which giving good encouragement to Brentford even they are also not good and currently at their lowest level.

Playing football manager, I got to know that some club's objective is to win the league while others are to finish at a particular position in the league. For a club like Tottenham, I want to believe the objective is a top four finish and also to win any of the domestic cup and I think they really want it badly. You could tell by the high profile managers like Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte that have been brought in over the years, and still no silverware. So it's unfair to pin their inability to win a trophy on Ange, but that doesn't mean he should walk scot free for the team's bad performance this season. This is his second season at the club, there should be progress and not retrogression.

I think if the season starts every club has this believe and will to actually win silverwares, there is no club on earth who doesn’t have such believe to win silverwares they simply just come to narrow it down to certain criteria like finishing in the top four or winning domestic cup. I don’t think Tottenham do not have such believe too but they are simply cut off short. I think just that the club generates the money the board wants they don’t care about the other things again. This is clearly why according to research the most successful club in terms of net profit generated. I think Levy is happy with such developments and that’s the major reason why he doesn’t bother to chase after trophies.

One of the days that seems the club was cursed was when Levy sacked Mourinho just few days to the finals of EFL cup with Manchester City. Sacking a manager like Mourinho when it is final is absurd. He is best in the business and has lost just once in a final, so I think they don’t prioritize silverware’s sincerely

If a club is performing poorly, most people do focus only on the coach, but it’s wrong, when a team performance poorly, we have to blame the coach, the player’s, and the entire management. Seriously I never expected Tottenham performance to be so poor, Tottenham are always finding it difficult to win trophy, but they are always performing well, but this season is different, they are currently at the bottom of the table, most people do say their poor performance is due to some of their players that are on injury, but I don’t see that as an excuse, they should expect something like that to happen, and they should have been prepared for it.

Yes, there will most likely be a surprise for the team with playing away. For Liverpool and Arsenal, I am sure they will not problem winning it even if not many goals are scored. I'm just concerned with Chelsea, they have a slight difference in odds, Brentford is a team that always makes a surprise when they meet a big team like Chelsea. Brentford were able to draw with Manchester City, and won at Bournemouth's home. I am worried they will do it again this time, because Chelsea also is not playing well when away, they lost 4 consecutive matches, and this will be a big concern for a team who are trying to maintain their position on Champions League zone.

Based on data from transfermarkt, Tottenham once won the English Premier League title and that was in the 1960/1961 season-CMIIW. That was a really long time ago. I even think all the members here didn't see Tottenham winning the title that year  Grin. And I actually feel sad to see Tottenham. They are one of the best clubs in the EPL but they always fail to win the title. They were only able to become runners-up in the 2018/2019 Champions League. That was their first final in the UCL and unfortunately they lost to Liverpool. Tottenham also had a great chance to become EPL champions in 2015/2016 unfortunately they failed after Leicester shook the world by becoming EPL champions. I mean if you look at the competition between Leicester and Tottenham, Tottenham should have had the chance to become champions that year.

A full set of odds for this weekend (+ Mon) matchday 31:

Aston Villa FC x2.05 Vs Nottingham Forest x3.60; Draw x3.50

Manchester United x3.33 Vs Manchester City x2.12; Draw x3.60

I think the most interesting one is the Manchester derby: Man United Vs. Man City. In their last clash, United came up victorious with a 2-1 win. Both teams had problems with underperformance this season, and both showed signs of improvement, but they are far from their prime.
The City is the favourite, but home advantage could be a big factor here.

Thanks for sharing the odds for this weekend's fixtures.
I have two big games for this weekend. The first one is the Villa/Forest game, and the second is the Manchester derby. Just like you've said both teams have being poor this season, but the odds tends to favor one against the other, knowing fully well that it's a derby, and a home advantage can favor the other side. I will go with a draw for the Manchester derby.

And as for the Villa VS Forest game, that's another game that i will be looking forward to. Villa is the favorite in this case, even when i believe that so many of us(including myself) won't agree to this. Can't wait for the game.

I don't think the title named EPL at that time. It has been very very very long time ago, and should not be counted toward the modern year. Tottenham was just Tottenham. They would never win a major title, not until their current owner sell his club to the Saudi like what happened to the City.

They're huge disappointment in the premier league. They rarely become a competitive team, and they're a finished club now. They did everything, but it's all useless.

It's hard to push a team that has no winning mentality like them, not until a rich owner allocate billion to rebuild them. However, it will not happen with their current owner.

A full set of odds for this weekend (+ Mon) matchday 31:

Everton x4.20 Vs Arsenal FC x1.96; Draw x3.33
Crystal Palace x2.42 Vs Brighton & Hove Albion x2.83; Draw x3.50
Ipswich Town x2.80 Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers x2.60; Draw x3.25
West Ham United x3.00 Vs Bournemouth x2.36; Draw x3.40
Aston Villa FC x2.05 Vs Nottingham Forest x3.60; Draw x3.50
Brentford x3.10 Vs Chelsea x2.16; Draw x3.75
Fulham x4.25 Vs Liverpool FC x1.81; Draw x3.75

Manchester United x3.33 Vs Manchester City x2.12; Draw x3.60
Leicester City x6.00 Vs Newcastle United x1.48; Draw x4.75

The odds are strange to me, I’m suspecting there would be something strange or a twist this week. I think Arsenal on their own would end on a draw. I’m expecting Mikel Arteta to rest some of his big players. Because of the big game he has during the midweek in the Champions League, The Manchester Derby is a game to look up to because I’m expecting a very tough game because Manchester City are fighting for the champions leagues places. And I don’t really know what Manchester United are playing for, but this is a derby match it always has the extra energy on it that Rivalries are always renewed, Manchester United and Amorim knows what this game is all about, and Haaland is also out with a season ending injury. But I’m expecting Manchester City to give Manchester United a run of there money. I’m expecting a stalemate between this big club. Chelsea have been trying to salvage wins they’ve not really been at their best. But they are getting results. So I’m expecting Chelsea to win. Tottenham looks like a team that is finished and has no Ambition whatsoever right now, they are absolutely playing for nothing just like Manchester United. But I don’t know how Tottenham got here. Is a club that needs to be sold or restructured. I think Ange Postecoglu is a man that will be sacked at the end of the season. It will be an interesting good run of weekend games.

The odds are strange to me, I’m suspecting there would be something strange or a twist this week. I think Arsenal on their own would end on a draw. I’m expecting Mikel Arteta to rest some of his big players.

Your prediction about Arsenal's draw is happening, boy!!!! They finally showed the same pattern they repeat in previous seasons. They unable to maximize their chance, and have no proper execution to scored a lot.

They putted all of their focus onto Real Madrid's game. Their coach rested important players in these games. Saka and Martinelli were missing from the squad, and put Sterling as starting line-up, which makes sense they are not serious in this game.

They also finally ended their journey for the PL title race this season, and their problems are not yet solved. They own most of possession, but get terrible result in the end.

I congrat them now for finishing at the 2nd place.

Well seems like the Bournemouth team cant recover his pace, i dont know if they are suffering so much becuase of the injuries they have or is just  bad run.

About arsenal.... i know they lose so much players due to injuries but come on, you cant drop this points against weaker teams if you want to be a contender.

Honestly I didn't get surprised with the odds of the Everton - Arsenal game. If you guys look at their H2Hs at Goodison Park you can see how tough it's for Arsenal to beat them there. The result also was understandable. Arsenal aren't having a great time nowadays.  Sad

What's happening to Forest currently?  Huh They are 2-0 behind vs Aston Villa after only 15 minutes. Of course Emery's side isn't easy to beat but I'd expect more fight from Forest. I don't know maybe because of being a little complacent due to their condition in the standings?
