Let us assume that Arsenal's draw against Brentford was due to their next Champions League match against Real Madrid, but I do not see it as an excuse, if Arsenal is good enough to beat any club in the Premier League, they would defeat Brentford instead of a draw. Arsenal can still win the game and maintain their lead against Real Madrid, they have 3 goals lead, and while they have good defenders, they can only defend during the second leg.

However, Arsenal's Premier League position is not safe, they are 6 points ahead of Nottingham Forest, 7 points above Newcastle, and 8 points ahead of Manchester City. Anything can happen in football, and no one can predict what will happen in the remaining games. Arsenal must improve in league games because if they continue this way, they risk losing their position, a draw or a defeat will not help them qualify for the next Champions League.

There is no excuse for the draw to Brentford because it is expected that every game should be taken seriously despite losing out on the title race. It wasn’t their best performances this season. Arsenal became too relaxed at the back after scoring their first goal and that mistake cost them. They need to learn to win games early in the match and not give opponents any chance.

Don't tell me United doesn't need to sign a new goalie. All of their goalie were awful to watch. The picture above is the moment when Bayindir did stupid mistake by passing to the opponent's attackers, then his club conceded 4th goal.

They have no good goalie available, and must be their top priority to sign a proper goalie. I'd also see a new goalie is far important than a new striker.  

Getting a goalkeeper shouldn’t be difficult for Manchester United as they are a big club with rich history in the Premier League. However, I think it will be difficult for United to get a top striker when you cannot offer Champions League football or for the least any European competition.

To some point I didn't blame that goalkeeper because Manchester united players where hiding themselves so who will the goalkeeper pass the ball to, Manchester united really need a lot to improve. They need defenders, midfielders because Bruno Fernandes can not do it alone and also strikers because Hujlud and Zirkzee are not really good for the club, the only problem with zirkzee is speed, he doesn't have speed but he can hold and control the ball unlike Hujlud who can not hold and control the ball and he is always falling all the time. Zirkzee had a chance that he would have carry the ball to the 18 box and strike but he doesn't have the speed and that was the kind of ball H. Barnes was using to rubbish them.

I thought the initial cause was Onana, we all see that the cause has been shifted to a more general accountability. Nobody should get a single blame for why Manchester United has been this bad, i barely want to speak about how they managed to last this long in Europa, it can be small teams they play and take advantage of meanwhile they are puppy playing in the Premier League run.

All player’s in Manchester United are suppose to be blamed. Am also among people that do criticize Onana, but I guess the problem is not from Onana alone, i know Onana is also a horrible goal keeper, but their is no difference between Onana and Manchester United second goal keep. I just have the feeling that if Manchester United defense is so poor, if United are having a quality defenders then most of the balls that do get to Onana won’t really get to him again, just few well be get Onana.

It is true that Onana makes mistakes unfortunately but sometimes when you observe the build up to the goal you will notice the defensive lapses and many if these goals would have been avoided if Manchester City’s defense was good and reliable. It pains me that United fans are always so quick to point fingers at the wrong direction, the same way they pointed at Ronaldo, pointed and De Gea and it turned out they were not the problem after all.

I just saw Aston Villa and Chelsea points are the same, Chelsea should be automatically out of the race because it's difficult to accept their success over teams they will be facing, and also competing as well for that spot. I can't wait to see how Arsenal play Real Madrid today, the only Premier League side left competing, getting too excited for five Premier League teams qualifying, and they still can't get to the final or win the trophy.

Aston Villa and Chelsea are not having the same points. Newcastle is above Chelsea by 2 spots, Chelsea has 54 points and Newcastle has 56 points at present and Newcastle has a game at hand today, if they win they will further be above Chelsea. Talking about Premier league teams not doing anything in the Champions league, it's not totally true though but I understand the point you made there concerning the 5 teams slot, I totally understand your point there.

Your statement ain't match to the reality. You said signed quality goal keeper would not be a hard task for Manchester United as it's one of big club in the world. How can't they sign proper goal keeper instead of Onana? They also made blunder by not kept a quality goal keeper that's even better than him.

Manchester United doesn't even look interested in signing a big name for the goalkeeper position.    I've heard some names like James Trafford and some other players from England. I hope they go for Trafford if they don't make a bigger signing.

Burnley are like the least conceding team in the Championship thanks to him.    He is only 22 years old. It'd be a reasonable investment for the future. I just hope they don't find another fiasco like Onana...

Honestly I can already see a decent win for Eddie Howe's students.    They are one of the best teams in the league recently if we compare form graphs of teams. Newcastle are given 1.72 odds for the win which is like a gift...

By the way Eddie Howe has been diagnosed with pneumonia and he is likely to miss some games. I hope he gets well soon.

Crystal Palace lost their last game against Manchester City so they they will want to get a win or draw at least tonight. However Newcastle are a stronger side compared to Crystal Palace plus their home advantage they are likely to win in this game.

Newcastle deserves to be in the position that they find themselves at this top half of the table they have been good in the cause of the season even though they started poorly they where able to get it right in the cause of the season, winning today game by 4:0 at halftime is something that is exceptional this shows that they really mean business this season, but I expected crystal Palace to show a level of toughness in this game but it like the attacking force of Newcastle is beyond them I expect more goals going into the second half of this game

5 - 0 now, it's a hammering for Crystal Palace right now the only thing they can do now is have a consolation goal to at least make the both teams to score option come through for people that played it so. Newcastle is back alive after the decline, right now they have won more than 5 consecutive games which puts them as the most inform team in the league right now in recent weeks. You have good point but sadly currently Mikel Arteta is going on Champions League with his main focus because they understand they are going to stay at 2nd or 3rd spot which could be enough for them, but they can achieve something good in Champions League which could be good motivation for them in coming season.

2 draws surely give them setbacks but still things are under control, and they are able to keep good distance from rivals here Arteta needs to be gone with strong mentality and good strategy because things are challenging teams are giving their best for having good end so having good results always give them good support. Now Arsenal is heading for Madrid where things could be not easy, and they have to keep their nerve because this is going to be real test for them if they are able to keep things on good level surely they can do better in coming games.

Arsenal are currently ahead of Newcastle with a 4-point gap in the table; Newcastle are coming. Arsenal need to work harder to meet up; it will be better if they continue in that second position on the table, which I know Arteta will not allow to happen. But they need to act fast by winning their matches. Nottingham Forest is not a challenge for Arsenal now, but Newcastle are getting close to them. Arsenal need to win their next match to secure points in the table and give Newcastle more gaps in the table.

Impressive review about the young lad. I'd go check him properly on YouTube. Why go for players who aren't ready to give their best for the club? Young and dedicated,  these are the kind of players we're ready to see help the badge for trophies. I saw news relating to the current Portuguese goalkeeper and on loan Arsenal's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. He is a shite goalkeeper full of errors. I'd prefer somebody else for that goalkeeping duties. As for Onana, they should cash big profits from the Saudis..

Newcastle are currently the most trustworthy team in the Premier League undoubtedly. Better than Aston Villa as well recently comparing the forms.

After this huge win, Newcastle have even left Forest behind in the standings. 3rd position! Amazing work man...

I would agree that the last goal was the mistake from the goalkeeper there is no doubt about that, he tried to kick it but kicked right into the head of the offense, so I agree on that. But he also saved some great shots, and not all of the goals were his mistake, three goals were not his mistakes.

And same goes for Onana as well, Onana did conceded a lot of goals because of his mistakes, there is no doubt on that, but at the same time the defense of United is so bad that people assume all of the goals are because of Onana, if you were to hire the greatest goalkeeper in the world, but keep United the same, they would have conceded 10-15 less goals this season, which would of course help, but it wouldn't be a big difference, they would have been maybe 9th or something, but that is it.

2nd position is possible for Newcastle. They're getting on fire, and destroying any of their opponents now. They looked so clinical in attack and defense. I believe they can secure UCL spot at the current rate. I was not expecting them to destroyed palace with 5 goals.

I have less expectation like 2 or 3 goals, but they surpassed it. They're competing for the UCL spot again, and most probably send City/Nottingham/Chelsea play in the Europa League instead of UCL. I saw some fans of their competitors feared with their performance.

Their consistency is obviously will be a bad news for their UCL competitors. I predict them to finish at 2nd/3rd. I think an UCL spot is reserved for them.

Newcastle have shown something truly remarkable towards the end of the season, five straight wins have done them a huge favour in securing a top-four finish. The extra three points have taken Newcastle up to third place, now they are closer to Arsenal in second place.
After the change in position in the top four, the competition is getting more exciting in fighting for tickets to the Champions League, Aston Villa who is in 7th place also still has the opportunity to secure a ticket to the UCL next season because they are only 3 points behind Nottingham who is currently in 4th place.

It was an easy win for Newcastle, where they managed to destroy their guests with a score of 5-0 this week. They appeared convincing by being able to take advantage of the opportunities they had so that they could create 4 goals in the first half. They could be relieved before the first half break. On the other hand, Crystal Palace tried to come down with a different strategy in the second half, but unfortunately they couldn't do much and instead they had to concede 1 goal in the second half. This result means Newcastle can at least maintain their position until this week.

Aston Villa and Newcastle have been pretty consistent in recent weeks, with Newcastle winning five games in a row, while Aston Villa have won four games in a row. Given Newcastle's consistency lately, I expect them to maintain their current position in third place in the standings. Aston Villa are also currently in seventh place in the standings, if they can maintain their consistency, they can move up to at least 5th place considering Aston Villa are currently not a point behind Chelsea, while Manchester City are only a point behind.

And at this time only Arsenal are still in the champions league as representatives of the EPL, and on the other hand they are also one of the teams that have never won the champions league title in the club's history, hopefully this season they can make it happen.
