Looking at the current table, Chelsea have a really difficult job to do... After a bad series of point losses they have found themselves in 7th place. It doesn't very likely for them to qualify for the Champions League this season. Despite the 5th spot given to PL teams for the CL.

The English football is something that is somehow unpredictable and it has a lot of surprise to give us every time. While a lot of people are still contemplating if Chelsea will qualify for the European competition next season, we have seen that Newcastle and Aston Villa is even taking up the challenge. Why we have thought that the battle between Newcastle and Aston Villa will be very fiance today, Aston Villa has proven us wrong by beating Newcastle with four goals to one. This is the same Newcastle that fired five goals last week, this is why I said that English Premier League is somehow complicated.

With the pressure of Aston Villa and the Newcastle coming to the top four, including the presence of Nottingham Forest it will be very difficult for Chelsea to break through again in the top four, maybe the top five could be an option which is still not sure for Chelsea because of their lackadaisical playing pattern this season.

The top four race is still open for all especially after Aston Villa trash Newcastle today's which was quite surprising with the score. Newcastle is just still inconsistent though I can say both team are quite equal but the goals were much.

Anyway, I rather still opt Chelsea at from the top four. Now we have Aston Villa, Man City and Newcastle on the race, Chelsea performance this year and their remaining fixtures till season head makes it even difficult to add them as top four contenders now.

It's getting more Clear that Chelsea is not going to be in the champions League next season looking at the table Chelsea is now in 7th place which is not what many Chelsea fans expected them to be at this point of the season, Aston Villa win against Newcastle has also put them in the champions League race let see which teams that are going to be qualifying for the champions League next season from the premier League but I don't see Chelsea as part of those teams

Yep, my prediction was ruined here, because I felt that this match would be a draw but in the end the situation became unexpected with a big victory from Aston Villa.

Honestly, I had doubts especially Aston Villa who was in a slightly tired condition after previously playing in the quarter-finals but it seems that their mentality is still very well maintained and the proof is that this match they did not show the slightest decline in quality.

Newcastle also actually played well, it's just that they couldn't take advantage of the momentum and their defense was a little tenuous especially since they were more inclined to area defense than man to man which made them a little confused when some of the movements without the ball of Aston Villa players were very fast.
This result makes Newcastle put the brakes on their dominance a little after a series of wins this week they had to end up losing points but still lucky because it didn't make them fall too far in terms of the standings although now there is a possibility that Nottingham Forrest could overtake them in terms of position.

If this Aston Villa - Newcastle game was some lower league match, I would have easily called this one a fixed match...but 4-1 for a team that has been dishing out these kind of scorelines not so long ago, this is BS gameplay from Newcastle to be honest, and am surprised that bookies had them as favourites of the game, but this scoreline isn't fitting for the calibre of Newcastle .

My prediction was wrong in the match, I expected the match to be a win for Newcastle in the match, but they couldn’t get a win in the match, the funniest part is that they conceded 4 goals in the match, I never expected that, because I was thinking the game will be a difficult one, and I never expected so many goals in the match, but Aston villa humiliated Newcastle today.

Aston villa are currently in 6th position, and they are also fighting for the champions league slot, serious it’s just kind of difficult to predict the teams that will be qualifying for the champions league next season, I know Liverpool and Arsenal will be qualifying for the champions league, but body is sure about the remaining teams left.

As for me, as far as I know, both teams are in good form. I know that both teams have a good chance to win the game, so my prediction was open to both teams. However, what I was really thinking is that maybe the game might end in a draw since both teams are doing well. What surprised me most in this game is the number of goals that Newcastle conceded. I never thought that Newcastle would concede up to four goals in today’s game. I was even thinking they would appear so strong, as they are already securing third place on the table.

Honestly, with the way teams are fighting for this slot to qualify for the Champions League, someone can’t really say which teams will qualify, except Liverpool and Arsenal. The remaining teams need to work harder before they can qualify for next season's Champions League. In fact, even Nottingham Forest, who I was thinking might qualify for next season's Champions League, may not make it if they are not lucky. With their current form, they could miss out because of the way Aston Villa is playing. They are aiming for the top four so they can qualify.

Newcastle's streak of 5 league wins in a row was abruptly ended by Aston Villa today, who themselves are now on a 5 league wins streak.
I was surprised how effortless that win was for Villa. 4 goals might sound like a lot, but it could easily have been 5 or 6 (they had 3 shots of the woodwork).
Villa are now placed 6th, but they are only 2 points away from the 3rd place (currently occupied by Newcastle), and if they keep playing like that, that should be achievable.

Man City earned 3 points on Everton with a 2-0 win, but it took them 84 minutes to score the first goal. Not the greatest performance, but Everton has a decent defence and is not easy to defeat.

Chelsea are playing away against Fulham tomorrow. They are a slight favourite but I don't agree with that. I consider Fulham the more probable winner, or they will split points.

Have given up on Chelsea since, I know it’s just going to be difficult for Chelsea to end the season in top 5, Chelsea can’t really qualify for the champions league this season, because other clubs fighting for the same position are playing better than Chelsea.

When the season started, Chelsea were really playing well, and I was even confident that Chelsea will be able to qualify for the champions league, but at some point Chelsea performance dropped, and they were losing most of their matches during that period, and Chelsea performance is just improving right now, but they are not still strong, they can’t really achieve much with their current performance, Enzo Maresca will have to work on Chelsea, he will have to sign some quality players if he really wants Chelsea performance to improve.

Manchester City won with two goals in the final minutes. They were almost losing points again. Let's give credit where it's due though, playing away at Everton is always tough. They usually manage to hold the score. Everton has the most draws this season in PL.
Manchester City still has a chance to finish in third place. They could at least end this disappointing season with that. Playing without Haaland and also with Marmoush failing to score, City's attack isn't as effective as it used to be. Pep is still trying to make the best of what he's got.

Your statement ain't match to the reality. You said signed quality goal keeper would not be a hard task for Manchester United as it's one of big club in the world. How can't they sign proper goal keeper instead of Onana? They also made blunder by not kept a quality goal keeper that's even better than him.

Manchester United doesn't even look interested in signing a big name for the goalkeeper position.    I've heard some names like James Trafford and some other players from England. I hope they go for Trafford if they don't make a bigger signing.

Burnley are like the least conceding team in the Championship thanks to him.    He is only 22 years old. It'd be a reasonable investment for the future. I just hope they don't find another fiasco like Onana...

The only name I have heard so far being linked to Manchester United in goalkeeper position is David De Gea and Manchester United seem to be serious about it. For now I don’t know on player’s side if he is interested in the move back to Manchester United but we will find out at the end of the season who Manchester United will sign.

I really also can't tell for sure if Arsenal will win Ipswich because arsenal is not fighting for the premier league title anymore it is clear that Liverpool will be the champions of premier league this season, if you check the gap point in the table between Liverpool and arsenal is very long Liverpool has 76 point and Arsenal has 63 point so Arsenal may decide to rest some of there key players in this match because all there focus now is on champions League how since Ipswich Town is not inform Arsenal may still win them even if they rest there key players.

Yes Liverpool is only focus on the premier league title and they are still very much inform and they will surely lift the premier league title this season it is very clear they are gapping every team with big point so I don't think any team can stop them anymore especially since the league is already coming to an end.

I know for a fact that Everton enjoys playing for the draw , and seeing Manchester City failing to break down these guys tells you all you want and that they can't win this game especially because they lack that creativity.

Btw how is it that Manchester City have over 60% of ball possession, from what am seeing... Everton has been the better team, created more chances Infront of goal and looked more like the dangerous side...but not expecting to see goals here, let me change to another game, this is so f*** boring.

It's quite annoying when you take your time watching a game and no team scores a goal. Manchester City defeated Everton with two goals scored by Nico O'Reilly in 84 minutes and Kovačić in 90+2. Manchester City is not taking any opponents lightly right now, they do not want to miss out on their chances of playing in the next Champions League, as it would be a shame if a team like City did not play.

Furthermore, you are familiar with the Everton match, they prefer a draw, and they have the most draws (14) in the Premier League this season. The first meeting with Manchester City this season ended in a draw, they managed to draw at City's home field, so I wasn't surprised when Manchester City failed to score in the first half, but the Guardiola boys turned things around in the second half.

Leicester have lost their last eight home games without scoring a goal. Would be typical Liverpool to go 1-0 down early on

Leicester are a terrible team and Liverpool should have no trouble beating them but you never know. We will win the title but wouldn’t surprise me if we lose a couple of games on the way.

Arsenal might rest players but they still need to guarantee their place in the CL for next season so maybe they don’t make more than a few changes. Obviously they should beat Ipswich but again, you never know.

If Arsenal loses against Ipswich and Liverpool wins, it is certain that Liverpool will win sooner. This is because the remaining five matches and 16 points cannot be chased by Arsenal. But this looks impossible for Arsenal to lose. Ipswich is statistically far below Arsenal. Meanwhile, Liverpool's contract renewal of Moh Salah and Van Djik certainly makes their mentality and will to win even higher, so I'm confident in Liverpool. They must still ensure victory in every match even though Ipswich is in the relegation zone.

Another thing that interests me is the position of Nothingham Forest and Aston Villa, currently Notthingham has the opportunity to enter the UCL next season. Although the points are thin with Aston Villa who are in the Europa League Zone. Aston Villa who were able to make history this season was very good because they managed to enter the top 8.
