It seems Nottingham Forest are experiencing something behind the scenes that no one knows about because the way their performance just went from good to bad all of a sudden is surprising. I didn't expect them to be this bad at the end of the season after having such a wonderful start and sitting at 3rd place with the champions league spot almost assured they just suddenly became poor and ever since the have been struggling and now they sit at 7th position I think that is very bad. At this rate I don't even think they are capable of winning their remaining two games, Chelsea will be a difficult opponent for them but no one knows what will happen.

If Nottingham forest win both of it's upcoming matches then they might have chance for qualifying for next UCL. Nottingham forest has performed so well in this season and they deserve a reward by finishing in top 5 but for that they need to win both of there upcoming matches.

Logically, Nottingham has greater chance to take the fifth UCL spot from Chelsea. They have to win the game against westham no matter in what gameplay they will show us. Defensive or offensive, it's all doesn't matter as long as they win it. They must also beat Chelsea in the last game in order to successfully secure european spot.
However, most of people forget about Villa who has easy fixtures and same points as Chelsea. The plot twist is that Nottingham beat Westham and Chelsea, but unable to get into the fifth place because of Aston Villa. I lowered my expectation for them to play in europa league.

Leicester City is in relegation zone and they played a draw against number 6th team of EPL today. I wrote yesterday that Forest should not have any problem in winning game against Leicester City but they played a draw and gave away 2 key points. It's now very difficult for Forest to qualify for next UCL because of there bad performance towards end of the season. Chelsea is working hard to finish in top 5, in their last 5 games they have won 3 along with one draw. Chelsea deserve spot in top 5 because of the hard work they have done including win against Liverpool.

You are talking about the end of the season, I would talk about the beginning of the season: they're goal was not to be relegated, now they managed to qualify for Europe, they played way above their possibilities for the majority of the season and people, and the president, now are complaining? Are they for real? Nobody would have ever thought to qualify for Europe, they should just enjoy and celebrate this achievement.

I dont fully understand Amorim statement, i mean i know he talks about the players to be changed in the next transfermarket but i also feel something like if im not capable of change this situation im also gonna be out, im the only one who read in that way or im being so much paranoid?.

Maybe what he mean by making that statement is because the problem of Manchester United as a team is beyond just signing players, and we have seen signs from the previous managers especially Eric Ten Hag. He did his best to sign good players, but his effort was worthless because all his effort couldn’t change the team as the situation keep getting worse until he leaves the club, maybe that’s what Ruben Amorim has also seen that made his to make this sentence that if he can’t change the situation, he will also leave.

I feel like he make a good improvement in Europa League but he do nothing for Premier League matches, and is the same team super crazy. All is in the player heads, lack of motivation or i dont know how to call it.

Not only you; aside from the Europa League, Amorim didn’t do much in the team, and they are better in the Europa League because they are the best team there and they have less competition there in the Europa League.
Until he Amorim is given chance to sign players of his taste, the team will not be balanced for him and he will keep performing badly in the Premier League because it is very competitive.

Disappointed with the way they played the game against Southampton. They dominated possession, created bunch of shoots, but still missed points. It seems they will finish at 4th or 5th with that performance. Damn how Haaland was non existent in that game. This is not City who played last games.

I also give credit to the Southampton. They already relegated, but still fight hard for their pride. City seems to be kicked out from the top 3 very soon.

Southampton played very well. They played defensively and tried to draw the match. We knew Southampton would play in that way. Southampton's goal against City was to keep a clean sheet and draw. And that's what Southampton did. On the other hand, City dominated the entire match. They also attacked a lot. City players managed to take a total of 26 shots. Even then, they couldn't score a single goal. This was a failure of City's attacking players.

Haaland is used to playing well. De Bruyne played a little better but couldn't score any goals. I think selling Alvarez in this season's season was one of the wrong decisions by Guardiola. If Alvarez was in the squad, City's overall performance would have been stronger. Alvarez was a worthy replacement for Haaland.

Southampton are always good with playing defensively but when it comes to scoring goals that's a problem for them. Their defense was solid and it gave Manchester city a tough time...we all expected them to lose because city was aiming for the second position but they couldn't break through Southamptons defense..I think Southampton was able to win the game because Manchester city are not the team they used to be.

If you ask me I will possibly tell you that tottenham hotspur is a copy of manchester united but I think tottenham hotspur is a little bit better, because if tottenham hotspur is that strong as you think they wouldn't have been in the 17th place that's the bottom of the table. Well if you're actually talking about the side of Europa league I think tottenham hotspur is likely to be considered as the favorite team to win this Europa league title, but don't be surprise to see things working differently because I keep wondering if this is the manchester united that made it all the way from group stage till this final stage with unbeaten record. Honestly I'm beginning to see it as a nightmare LoL, of course that's how it is.

If you said Nottingham Forest will win against West Ham, I won’t doubt you, but if you say they will win against Chelsea, then I will have to ask you this. Did you think Chelsea would afford losing their chances of being in the Champions League next season? Because I am thinking you said Nottingham Forest will win them based on a wish or underestimating Chelsea because you think they are not capable of making it to the Champions League next season.

Manchester United is no longer the same team as before because of the pressure that the opposing teams put on them, due to which they could not improve their record, which is why they could not be good. Their improvement did not work in this match, if they had worked hard for a goal in this match, they would have had a chance to win the match. Obviously, when a player does not score a goal, then their performance and hard work do not prove any good and strength. If they win this match and improve in points, then only they will be expected to play well and they will be liked. They had put a lot of pressure which they took full advantage of. Manchester United could not succeed in any way, even by playing well and badly and their luck could not be on their side, due to which they did not look good to succeed. Manchester United should look for a good coach to play well and if they themselves play better and work hard, they will definitely get success.

If Amorim was the guy that staffed this season, I very sure that team would have been relegated for long, they will be fighting their way out now instead of where they are trying to push forward to avoid dumping into the pit of relegation. If for anything, Manchester United need to be among top 10 considering all the demand met during Amorin request to bring some of his assistant along, it seems they are there enjoying the club and forgot what they came to do.

I don't know if his opinion are reasonable but you and I know that this guys need to be deleted completely from that club. They don't need to be loan, just sold so the manager can buy new players and see if there is going to be changes later, at least to avoid any benefits of doubt that he didn't start this and that. I was skeptical about Maguire and now it seems Maguire is now a redeemer of the club, not sure if they are going to sell him or loan him out.

You may be right about what Amorim's statement mean because looking at it in a very real angle, Manchester United's problem is not about signing new players because they have some good, quality players in the squad but yet their performance has remained unchanged despite hiring so many coaches. Amorim is a reputable coach and of such he wouldn't allow Manchester United to ruin his coaching career if they fail to improve, he can decide to leave to save his name.

Thankfully we have competition for the CL spots at least. Emery is trying to put his club into there once again. They have the same points as Chelsea. If Maresca's club lose points I think Emery won't be forgiving.

Fully agreed. If Amorim brings the trophy home he would be given more credit in his job. I personally believe he will manage to do it. Their performances in the PL and EL are really different. They at least fight for wins unlike here.

In essence, it all depends on the two remaining matches between Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest. And perhaps the one who will benefit more in the remaining matches, Aston Villa, will meet Tottenham and Manchester United who are currently most likely focused on the Europa League final, and Chelsea will also meet Manchester United. However, what will be decisive for Chelsea is that they will meet Nottingham Forest who are also in the same situation and their match will likely be much more interesting than the other matches, but if we talk about goal difference, Chelsea is superior to both of them. So the results of their remaining matches will be the deciding factor because there will definitely be a draw or a loss and anything can still happen.

Aston Villa is in a big problem with their games facing these two teams Tottenham and Man Utd, because there's no way they will win the two teams, and if that happens that will be super interesting thing. If Chelsea plays well, they will be able to at least get a draw from Manchester United and be able to win Nottingham Forest, But where the challenge will come is what happens in the Europa Cup, who wins between Tottenham and Man Utd will likely displace the 5th spot qualifier in the league table.

Southampton football team performance was not impressive in the last match because they could not successful to win last match and match was ended with draw result. Next match of that team will be against Everton football team and that will be in the 18 May and 5 days are remaining for the practice..Southampton football team has good track record against that team because that team won 4 matches out of 5 matches which they played against Everton team and players if that team will try to apply pressure from the start of match.But Everton football team won 2 matches out of last 5 matches which is very well  for that team and they will try to win this match.

A Europa League win should not shift the focus from the fact that Amorim has done horribly bad in the Premier League, they are now only better than the three relegated sides, and that statement “this isn’t his team” doesn't hold water here.
If now he can't win a game with this squad and we truly know only a few players will be added next season, Amorim should still be held responsible for that.

My friend that's a Manchester United fan said even though his team wins the Europa league it doesn't change his feelings that his team is shit. Yes, Manchester United has had a poor run in form this season but the thing is, Amorim didn't inherit an outstanding team so I really don't think he should be judged at this time yet in his Manchester United career. Let him start and finish a whole with the players of his choice only then can he be judged if he doesn't perform. If Manchester United manages to win the Europa, then for me, the team has had a better season than teams that went trophyless.
