Not sure there's anything wrong here. Martinez clearly changes direction to deliberately take Højlund out when he got into a one on situation. Whether or not Hojlund is good enough to take it, its a goal scoring opportunity. That was clearly a penalty -- he treaded on his ankle inside the box. Even if its accidental, its still a foul and was given the foul straight away.

Technically, the law says that the ball is deemed under control if the keeper has one hand in contact when the ball is on the floor, and it certainly isn't what common sense would call under control, but goalkeepers are generally a protected species and i think that gets given by most referees . Once he has blown the whistle, right or wrong, the ball is dead and Roger's shot is void.
It is clear that some players have a big game mentality problem, and that will need to be addressed in order for the club to progress.

Liverpool have been taking bold steps and I must say that I admire the choices they have been making with transfers lately. I'm quite excited about Liverpool next season. Arne Slot is already taking steps for transfers. First Frimpong and now Wirtz deal is also closing in on done.    With a more solid squad I think they won't make do with only a single trophy.

Manchester City looks like they won't be dominant in the PL anymore. They can change roles with Liverpool from now on. This could even end in Guardiola's leaving his team sooner than we think maybe but still early to make sure of it.

Why don't you blame Cash who did stupid pass instead of Martinez who tried to save his club? Cash deserves the blame instead of Martinez. Look at how his pass has no strength, and a very hard decision for goalie when it comes to the such situation.

I know it's quite silly to see him running up instead of stay, but it's one of his effort to help his club.

Arsenal don’t have great squad depth. This is in contrast to some teams like Liverpool and City where their bench players can play at almost the same level as their first team players. As you said Arsenal’s first team is very good and that shows in their performances at the start of the season which are very good. However, in the middle of the season when several players are injured they don’t have other players who can play at the same level. This is a problem that underdogs like Girona in La Liga or Nottingham Forest have had this season. But for a top team like Arsenal this is a problem they should be able to solve. Being runners up for three seasons in a row is very painful for the fans.

Arsenal is one of the best club with no depth in squad just because of this in last three years Mikel Arteta fail to win title it's not all about squad something extraordinary needed by coach as well just like Antonio Conte done with Napoli just one season big players leave, but he has still done. I am feeling Mikel Arteta needs to think about his strategy and bring some solid changes because he is still young and can do things which will make him one of the best coaches in soccer world his rotation policy is also criticized by many which is also hurting them badly, but sadly he is still going on same mistakes.

For coming season now few changes are going to be happened but with these changes he also needed to work on things which are hurting his players and also have impact on player's mentality because without these changes positive results not possible.

I don't think 150 million is too much for a player like Florian Wirtz. But I think Liverpool management will be willing to spend up to 120 million for Florian Wirtz.

Unfortunately, they started declining towards the end of the season and failed to secure a champions league ticket for the next season. Lol, it's really funny but it's the truth. That's what the board has reduced the team into "a joke of a club" as I often refer to the team at times. The board has also sold this delusional pattern to the fans and they came up with the phrase "next season" and of course it was turned into a seasonal movie where it doesn't end. It is very annoying to see Arsenal become runners-up for good 3 consecutive seasons without being the winners. Honestly, if Arsenal is unable to win the trophy next season which i also think is difficult, they will probably finish in a position which is far away from the European League qualification. I don't think the player is interested in joining Bayern Munich, he prefers Liverpool over the other teams that have bid for him. Florian Wirtz might prefer to continue his career in another league to face new challenges now that he understands how competitive the Bundesliga is. Florian Wirtz has been a great player under Xabi Alonso and would be an excellent midfielder for Arne Slot in the Premier League. The truth is, it's these Arab teams that really started this outrageous transaction when they triggered Neymar's €222m release clause, that was the starting point of all these from my own opinion. Then Manchester City started splashing money on transfers followed by other teams. Before big money move were for players that had already made a name for themselves but today, it's something else.
