What is going on in Arsenal? It looks like Arteta/club management are doing some big cleaning.
I read that they announced 17 players will be leaving club this summer:

Obviously, almost definitely there will be some new players joining in, names like Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike are being mentioned, but those will be pricey.

You could think that the second place and reaching the semi-final of the Champions League could be counted as an achievement, but I guess the club owners are not quite satisfied with a 5th consecutive season without winning a trophy (not counting the 2023 Community Shield).

I don’t know maybe arsenal all of a sudden are in any financial crisis because last I checked it was them and Chelsea that were free to spend just anything this summer but since last summer they have been selling their academy products which is a little bit of concern to me most especially with the way it is been done to rival clubs the other day they sold Chido Obi to Manchester United and the boy looks like a quality striker in my opinion that they can use as a second striker.

In the quest for a new striker I think they should just go for Viktor Gyokeres because he ticks the boxes for arsenal in my opinion than Benjamin sesko and the others but it seems arsenal are afraid he might be too expensive

However if Arsenal has the opportunity they would sign Viktor Gyokeres for three to four years because of how they believe him.

Gyokeres scores a lot of goals in Portugal (45 goals, 8 assists), but can he even come close to such numbers in the Premier League, where defenders know how to wrestle? And that "€65 million deal" isn't the end. When you add in salary, agent fees, and Coventry's 10-15% cut, we're looking at around £100 million

Gyökeres is a pure goalscorer. However I can't be sure of him in PL football honestly. 

The reason why is we have an example like Nunez in hand... He was great in the Liga Portugal but turned out to be terrible after coming to this league. I wonder if the same thing would happen with Gyökeres also.

On the other hand, Sesko is all about potential. His stats aren't superb (17 goals in the Bundesliga), but he's a Red Bull pressing machine, he's younger, he's a huge danger in the air, and he definitely fits Arteta's long-term plans. The problem is that Leipzig wants more than £90 million, and he's still raw. Do they have the patience, or do they want the trophy right now?

If I were in Arteta's shoes I'd go for Šeško instead. He has had an okay performance in one of the biggest European leagues - Bundesliga. Just as you said his style is also coherent with Arteta's game plan.

Arsenal management prepare the list of players that should leave the club, these players actually deserve to go for greener pastures because they are not having game time in Arsenal squad, they are all not considered important players which is why they are all tell to find a better team for themselves.

Obviously, almost definitely there will be some new players joining in, names like Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike are being mentioned, but those will be pricey.

Even the fans are not certified with the success the club has so far, we Arsenal stand a chance to win the Premier League title last two seasons, but lack of striker made us lose them all to Manchester City, and in this just concluded season, lack of striker also affected our performance. At this point, even the management know that they should sign a striker for the team to progress because the players are trying and they deserve to win trophies too.

I will be expecting a striker anytime soon, either Victor Gyökeres or Benjamin Sesko; one of them should join Arsenal because Arsenal fans need a striker.

This netflix FC is not a serious team. They have been linked to the Gyokeres since last season, but not even official bid came from them. I think the rumor linked them to the Gyokeres is just BS. I guess they will once again to use Merino as a striker next season. It's just netflix FC does netflix FC things.

Of course Arsenal are moving very slowly in this transfer window because we can see that they have a huge weakness in their striking position but right now they are releasing a few players from the club, including some young star players. According to my ideas Arsenal's failure to achieve glory in the Champions League and Premier League this season was mainly due to their weakness in the striking position. It's true that if Arsenal spend a large part of their summer budget on a good striker it could certainly be positive for them so maybe they are prioritizing three strikers in their summer plans, I still believe that Arsenal fans desperately need a striker like Victor Gyokeres.

This season from the Manchester United is gonna pass to the history as the most non sense ever, its impossible to follow any path of them, they lose against the weak teams, and they do they best against the big 6.

The signing of Šeško seems more realistic for Arsenal currently. They are in advanced talks with him now. Quite soon, we are likely to hear about it getting official.

Yeah he isn't an experienced striker. But we still can't be sure of anything. It is all about catching a nice chemistry with the rest of the lineup. He is already talented.

If Arsenal are able to add a new striker in the transfer window, it is believed that Mikel Arteta will be able to further enhance the team's capabilities. You are probably absolutely right that they should take a tough stance on key players and even extend their contracts, so that Arsenal will never be weak.

Well, Postecolgou became the Tottenham coach since 2023 and ended in 2025 this time. Tottenham finally officially dismissed him 16 days after their victory against Man United in the Europa League and as champions. I have noticed this problem with them since the beginning of last season. They have failed to score two or more goals in most of the matches. Be it the Champions League or the Premier League, they have preferred defensive football everywhere. As a result, they have been able to score 1 or 2 goals in most of the matches. Although they do not seem to have any problems in other aspects, they are weak in attack and lag behind in attacking football. If you want to rule in modern football, you have to give more importance to attacking football. Because the audience likes to see goals and the opponents also feel the pressure.

Well, Postecolgou became the Tottenham coach since 2023 and ended in 2025 this time. There was a massive response of disappointment after Fabrizio Romano posted the sacking of Postecoglou earlier today. Though, it was not as if the sacking was coming all of a sudden. It had already been agreed on before today that he (Postecoglou) would leave the club at the end of the season, and Postecoglou at the same time also assured everyone that he wins a trophy in his second season at any club, which he actually did, but I guess it wasn't enough to change the minds of Spur's management and board.

The interesting thing at this point is, he is definitely going to get another job in this transfer window. I'm not sure though, but if Thomas Frank of Brentford leaves the club, then Postecoglou might be a replacement, or he might just get an offer from other clubs.

In fact, Arsenal sells none, right? I don't believe this news until there will be an announcement they successfully sell their players. They always remind me with Barcelona who always keep the players until the end of contract, then let them to leave for free.

I also confirm their rumor being linked to the Gyokeres and Ekitike were fake. I meant they never made substantial offer for Gyokers and Ekitike, but they submit a bid for sesko.

Despite having the worst performance still Manchester United management giving another chance to Ruben Amorim is surely big gamble for them, but currently they have no better option because things are getting worse, and they are surely needed to be had some faith on him.

Even everyone well aware about this prospect of this club but in last few years they are facing terrible situation and all things are getting worst without any proper backup now how they are going to be done in coming season its important because management will not take too much time if Ruben Amorim failed with his tactics he is regarded as good, but now he needs to give something better this last season. Situation is tense for fans as well because now they needed something which give them good, and they are able to enjoy like they have done in past every going day is hurting them with these results.

That is also what I am thinking because having a very good striker will help them improve better than they have ever expected. This is more than 2 seasons that they have always finished the league as the second in the table. If they should have a good number 9 in their mix, I think next season will be very great for them, and they will become more dangerous, as you mentioned, if they get someone that is very dangerous. But if that should happen, next season will be very amazing for Arsenal, as they will have the possibility of winning the trophy.
