I read above some comparison between Rodrygo and Gyokeres..... Come on man, i dont know what Arteta has in his mind, but Gyokeres and Rodrygo has nothing in common and are two very diferent player, i feel like the only in common is they have a Y in their surnames.

So i feel like is a click bait note from the press trying to install silly rumours.

Even if that comparison came from the press, i'd call them as dumbest press ever. Comparing Gyokeres as a striker to the Rodrygo as a winger is so silly. It will never work. They need to go to the highschool learn about how to compare thing to thing equally.

With my observation so far in this coming season in EPL I'm seeing that there is going to be a strong competitor within the clubs, with the way and manner each clubs is taking a step at time in preparation of the EPL to kick of on the 15th of August alongside with Liverpool club vs Bournemouth club and i know that any clubs that fail to amend from there mistakes last season maybe end up not occupying a better position in the EPL table.

Arsenal success in bringing in Zubimendi is a form of management's seriousness in increasing the team's strength ahead of the start of the competition, even though he is not a striker (as fans want), his arrival can have a big influence in the midfield because he is a stable, intelligent and efficient defensive midfielder.
Arteta is really busy in the transfer market this time, their activities in the transfer market certainly want to be a team that is ready to win the EPL championship, their target in the front line is also not just any player, if one of the players targeted to fill their front line next season is successfully brought in, Arsenal will be a big threat to other teams in the hunt for the championship title.

Zubimendi is very important transfer without a doubt. But he is a defensive midfielder, and they were looking for a striker, Gyokeres. I wonder if getting Zubimendi means they can't afford Gyokeres? Or does it mean they are going to get both?

Because if you offered me two choices, like either get Zubimendi or get Gyokeres, for Arsenal then I would have picked Gyokeres. But, by the looks of it they are looking to get both of them.

Partey played a huge role in Arsenal this season, so with Zubimendi they are looking to move away from Partey apparently, not entirely sure if they are going to sell Partey or not but he definitely deserves to end up with a team that will play. That should be a good money maker for them too, not much, but could make a bit.

Arsenal got him at the right time cause Thomas Partey was recently charged with rape accusations and if found guilty it means that Arsenal won't be bothered about a replacement, Zubimendi is a quality player and could suit that role very well, in a case where Partey is not guilty with his accusations then it's a more goodnews for Arsenal since they'll have strong depth in that position.

 Well, it's going to be a tough competition for a spot in that position, Partey is a worthy player and has already dominated that position for Arsenal since his arrival, Zubimendi has to do all it takes to convince the coach that he's better, the Premier league is not a place where players are pampered it you don't meet up standards you'll be lashed by the media, english pundits and fans.

Gyökeres  and eodrygo have completely different playing styles and positions. It is possible to keep these two players in the squad at the same time. But I do not  see the possibility of Rodrygo playing as a replacement for Gyökeres.

As far as I know , gyokeres plays in the central forward position. On the other hand, rodrygo is a right winger. So there is no chance of using Rodrygo as a replacement for Gyokeres . If the coach wants to do this, then he will have to change Rodrygo's entire playing style , otherwise the coach will have to change his match strategy. But even if he does this , arsenal's overall performance is likely to be unstable . An experienced coach like Arteta will not want to take such a risk.

It is undeniable that Rodrygo current situation is very dilemma due to the uncertainty he faces, his performance which had decreased due to his injury made his position in the main squad replaced. Real Madrid attack line, namely Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. makes the team stronger, although it is hard, Rodrygo must start thinking about the best way to make his career and performance grow, even if he has to move to another club like Arsenal it is better and surely Arsenal also need this type of player.

Rodrygo is a great talent but Real Madrid is also full of stars like him. Therefore it makes things more difficult for him to capture his place in the starting lineup and keep it for too long. 

Earlier Manchester City was interested in him but dropped it later on. Maybe because of his excessive cost... Now they speculate him with Arsenal but does Arteta really want to spend probably near 100 million euros for him?

I read a rumor that Arsenal have agreed with Viktor Gyokeres. Maybe his position is different from Rodrygo, but Gyokeres has been priced at 60 million euros. So if they buy Rodrygo again it seems that they are spending too much money. I'm not sure they will sign Rodrygo at that price. They have signed Kepa, Zubimendi and most recently Gyokeres. I don't see Arsenal having a big budget every season.

But that ridiculous rumor works because it's discussed on this forum, right? They'll do whatever they can even though it's clear that comparing Rodrygo and Gyokeres is foolish. What matters most to them is attracting as many victims as possible to their clickbait and profiting from it—that their goal. Well, for those who understand, it's impossible for Arsenal to recruit Rodrygo. Firstly this player isn't what they need right now. Lastly Rodrygo price is arguably higher than Gyokeres. With all these differences Arsenal would need a lot of reasons to choose Rodrygo.

I believe this season will be tough more competitive most team has strengthen their team by adding some quality players, Manchester City will fight to win it this season since they perform poorly last season, Arsenal will also want to win it same thing to Chelsea.

Real Madrid is a good team and this team has become quite strong due to the hard work and good performance of this player and the hard work of other players has brought this team a lot of victories. That is also because their opponents are somewhat strong due to which some matches become difficult to play and at some point you have to be disappointed. But the way it is strengthening itself as fast as it wins, I think it will now reduce the chances of the weak.

The biggest reason for this is that Manchester City had weakened themselves and were about to lose, but Real Madrid will not do it like that. If they want to progress and they think that after acquiring these players they will play well, then this is not a big price, but this good money will definitely come into their hands if they succeed in their goal.

From my observation, I think Rodrygo and Gyokeres to Arsenal is just a matter of time because everything is going well.

So in contrast, Arsenal is going to throwaway Martinelli and Trossard and because I don't think these two players would want to start from the bench already I think Trossard is already getting frustrated because his not the regular starter and now adding Rodrygo to the list of LW position only means that one of them has to go. But either ways Arsenal buying these players doesn't guarantee anything until we really see those changes in their way, pattern and approach to game at the later part of the season and not the beginning because we are already used to seeing them start good.

At the start of last season, we saw Nottingham Forest also surprise with what I thought was a very good performance. Unfortunately, they weren't consistent enough towards the end of the season. The Premier League is indeed unpredictable, but I'm sure the strong teams will compete again. Arsenal might return to their best form. I'm not so sure about Man City, but hopefully they'll improve.
All teams naturally make improvements for the new season. But whoever can be consistent throughout the season will win the trophy.

Rodrygo is a star player who is good with attacks and also is ready to contribute for defense proactively. He surely is useful for many head coaches and it's not surprising if Xabi Alonso intends to keep Rodrygo in Real Madrid. I really disagree with you about Vinicius and Rodrgo comparison, because in the last season, Vinicius still had better performances than Rodrygo had. This fact is shown from two players' stats and I am unsure how did you make this conclusion that Rodrygo played better than Vinicius.

At this point Gyokeres deal has been talked as "when and not how", because everything is basically settled and the only thing left is just time. Sporting is forced, Gyokeres wants to go to Arsenal so much that he is willing to literally get paid less, just so his salary could go towards paying sporting instead.

When a player wants to leave that much, no team could hold that player. Arsenal is lucky, they may had to deal with convincing Gyokeres too, but seems like he won't be needed to be convinced, he wants to go there. Arsenal just needs to hope that he doesn't turn out to be bad, because there is a question mark on this player, since we have seen him do badly at England before, so it is not going to be that difficult at all.

There's no agreement between Sporting and Arsenal over Gyokeres. According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal offered £56 million + £13 million in add-ons, while Sporting Lisbon wants £60 million guaranteed, plus £9 million in add-ons. Sporting's asking price looks fair to me. Arsenal is not far off from meeting the number and can come back with an improved offer. I guess why Arsenal is stalling is because there's no competition from other clubs.

Leagues those have competitiveness always shines with quality clubs and players this is always good advantage for Premier League in soccer world they are one of the best without having any doubt even sometime few clubs take good control but challengers able to bring them down.

Premier league is always on their best with too many quality teams and players giving their best in every season while matches are always attracted millions soccer fans around the world in last few years few teams are dominating but still level of quality and consistency is always amazing. Liverpool is going to be had another good season while Manchester City and Arsenal are doing to be give good challenge while Chelsea and Newcastle United are also had good improvement which will make things on balance.

Gyökeres is a great candidate for that. I guess not all the strikers coming from Liga Portugal can be a flop like Nunez right?

Delap was a significant signing for Chelsea, but I don't think he's a player comparable to Rodrygo. Delap has adapted to the Premier League and, in my opinion, has become a quality player. Rodrygo, if he's transferred, will have to adapt to the Premier League. If he adapts quickly, he could be successful, but if he doesn't, he could be as ineffective as Richarlison.

In last few years, premier league is touching new levels of performance, quality and consistency with top clubs are having amazing skilled and talented players while their sources are also allowing them to keep things on challenging level in last season Liverpool dominates due to Manchester City problems and Arsenal old tactics.

Upcoming season is going to be full of action and challenges as Liverpool strengthening their squad Manchester City is also increasing its power and Arsenal trying to fix their problems which will bring new war for title race at top level three clubs are on same level. Few other clubs are also working on their squad depth which will give them good help for keeping things on good level but it's going to be interesting season with many teams on same level for title race.

After beating Fluminense 2-0 yesterday, Chelsea has secured themselves a spot in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup and will face PSG on Sunday.
They will not be a favourite, but even if they lose, getting this far in the competition will bring a lot of extra money to the club, which they might decide to invest in top players, to further strengthen the squad and enable them to maybe compete for winning the Premier League instead of just fighting for the top 5.
A quick search tells me that, for the runner-up position, they would be getting a total of around $120 million, whereas for winning the cup, they could earn up to $155 million.

I don't see them having much chance against PSG though. The French club seems unstoppable this season.
