The Premier League doesn't just belong to Manchester City other clubs have the right to break Man City's dominance so the EPL isn't seen as a farmer's league. Strong competitors like Arsenal and Liverpool deserve to make things difficult for Man City. Furthermore, last season, Man City experienced an injury crisis that caused the club to decline, creating an opportunity for Liverpool to win the EPL title.
Next season, things won't be easy for Man City as competition in the Premier League is getting tighter. Chelsea might enter the title race between Man City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, so get ready for a very interesting season.
I like the idea that Liverpool were able to take over the premier league title from Manchester city last season, Manchester City won the premier league title continuously for years, and they didn’t give other teams opportunity. Arsenal were always going close to them, but they do always end up ending the season in second position, so it makes it look like Manchester city is the only strong team in the premier league, and no club could compete with them.

Liverpool took over the title from Manchester city last season, Manchester City struggled to end the season in 3rd position, at some points, some people were thinking they might not be able to qualify for the Champions league, but at the end, they were able to end the season in the Champions league zone.

We all know that Manchester city main reason for their poor performance last season was just injury, Manchester city faces lots of injury challenges last season, but we should know that injury shouldn’t be and excuse, that’s part of football, and every team is just suppose to be prepared for that.

I’m praying for Arsenal to break the “2nd place position curse” this season, it is not easy to an Arsenal fan facing banters from rival fans these past three seasons. This coming season will not be easy, Liverpool, Man City and even Chelsea all have good squads good enough to compete for the league title while Newcastle and Crystal Palace will battle for European competition spots next season.

Arsenal has successfully signed Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, giving them a more promising goal-scoring machine. Additionally, rumors are circulating that Arsenal may also bring in Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid. If this is true, then Arsenal's squad is now complete, all components are neatly in place, and preparations are proceeding smoothly to break the curse and reclaim the Premier League title. Liverpool will undoubtedly return as a strong contender for the Premier League title. The steps they have taken during the preseason are quite surprising, as they continue to add depth to their squad.
As for Manchester City, it seems they still have to work hard to return to their best form. Regarding Newcastle United, I think as long as Alexander Isak remains with them, Newcastle will always be able to compete at the top of the English Premier League. As for Chelsea, I always look forward to the surprises they will bring each season.

Yes, if Rodrygo also comes, Arsenal will reach the level of the other top clubs in terms of team strength, but there is still a big difference: the other teams have well-established teams and have only brought in new players to complement them but Arsenal have bought some important new players who all have to learn to play as a team first. I would be happy about a title for Arsenal but I don't see it coming yet.

To soon to judge the whole transfer window, but it probably will be the most expensive season, considering the value of all acquisitions combined. We also had a Premier League record for the highest transfer in history this year.
But this shouldn't be much of a surprise. The competition within the Premier League and internationally is really high, so the top clubs can't afford not to invest in their squads if they want to remain relevant. And there's also a factor of inflation and devaluation of fiat currencies. The money is simply not worth as much as in the past, hence the nominal amounts are higher.

Liverpool lost 2-4 to the Ac Milan. They looked atrocious in this game, but it's nothing to be disappointed. It's just a pre-season game for the testing purpose only. I remember they also lost to the preston in pre-season last season, but they came out as winner of EPL. The result in the pre-season has nothing to do with their result in EPL. However, they're statistically better in this friendly game. Nothing to lose their head over the pre season games. Just keep relax.
Preseason matches are often considered to be purely testing matches for new players and providing an opportunity for them to develop chemistry with their old teammates before the start of the next season.
Even weaker clubs can pull off surprising wins in preseason matches like these, as they are truly insignificant matches that will have no bearing on the outcome of the upcoming season.

You could be right, but it may as well be an indication of something not quite clicking in the team as it did during the past season. Every major changes to the squad result in some disruption, but there's no guarantee things will work out fine as the times goes by.
Arne Slot still has some time to set the team right and make sure all the new additions know their place and fit in with the rest of the squad.

A gut feeling tells me that Liverpool might have a hard time defending their title. I think Man City will increase the bar as they will try to restore the old order of them being the strongest team. Also Chelsea have proven that they are more than capable of beating every club by winning the FIFA Club World Cup, which should not be underestimated.

Crystal Palace as a dark horse in this season? Man Crystal Palace is the team only team in the whole Premier League that you knwo they are not gonna do anything, they are gonna end at mid table every season, no matter in which exact position but is gonna be between 10 to 16.
I also don’t see any threats to come from Crystal Palace next season, infact the best they could do is to fight for Europa league or the conference league qualification next season that is if other mid table teams don’t sit up next season. I don’t think they will be able to replicate that form they had towards the end of last season in this new season.

The Europa League is definitely an important fierce competitive race. I'm not giving up anytime soon on watching these elite sides, they've been surprising everyone with their inconsistent performance but will always come out on top when they bounce back to their peak. There's always a threat for EPL teams and Crystal Palace is actually one of the club's that will be fighting for a relevant spot on the EPL table. We know it's been quite some up and down movement and I've never see how fierce these clubs can be. Crystal Palace did their best last season and they were the complete underdogs when they won Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Compared to other leagues, the English Premier League is always competitive and every team in the English Premier League is so strong that they can beat any team. If Manchester City had performed well in the last season, then there would have been more competition in the English Premier League, but it was not like that. Next season, I think it will be very difficult for every team to win the Premier League title, and the team that wins the Premier League title at the end of the season will be close to their closest rivals in terms of points. For the next season, I still consider Liverpool as the favorite and Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea can be tough obstacles for Liverpool. If Arsenal improve their performance a little, then they can be put in the list of favorite teams to win the Premier League title, the same applies to Manchester City. Hopefully, there will be a tough competition between all these teams in the future.

I still remember that Arsenal tried to sign Ronaldo from Sporting in the past, but failed so because Manchester United beat them to it. Now Arsenal does not want to experience the same regret, so they are determined to sign Gyokeres. Many hope that Arsenal can win its first Premier League trophy next season, but with growing ambitions, Arteta needs to be careful in utilizing Gyokeres abilities.

In fact, Liverpool is currently experiencing some minor problems, with last night's pre season match against Milan ending in a poor result. This is despite Liverpool having spent a lot of money on recruiting new players. I am concerned that Liverpool stability will be disrupted if Arne Slot is unable to manage these new players. There is still time for new players to adapt to Liverpool's style of play.

It's hard to predict whether they'll improve or not, but there's a strong possibility that Crystal Palace can maintain their position in the middle of the Premier League table. It's also important to remember that competition in the Premier League is always fierce and there are many possibilities. To prepare for next season, all teams are working hard to perform better.

Where does Liverpool find all this money from? I get it, they won premier league, and they were first place in UCL, and that should all be a lot of money, but still, 300+ million AND Isak on top of that? I get that they were doing a lot better, but that doesn't mean that we are seeing the situation being so critical at the moment.

They are overspending a lot worse at the moment and they are trying to grow, which is great but that doesn't mean we are facing a correct mentality. That can't be good, it can't be good, we need to see how things change at the moment so we need to change all of this and get a better grip in reality. This should be focusing on how they could be fiscally responsible after the last transfers are made.
I don’t think Liverpool are overspending at least they are not making random signings like Chelsea FC rather they have identified positions that need strengthening in the team and are improving those positions. We know how inflated the market is this days so you can’t actually blame them. However their plan for Isak is yet to be realistic because Newcastle are asking for an outrageous price and they already have Ekitike so I have a feeling that they will pass on the Isak deal this summer.

I don’t consider Inter Milan returning for Onana as a wise decision after selling him out to Manchester United, not even that he has impressed with Manchester United in his stay so far so I don’t see reasons to want Onana back as number one goalkeeper choice for Inter Milan next season there are other choices in the market, Martinez from Aston Villa is also available this summer.
Inter was not a dumb team. They would rather get Martinez from Villa instead of Onana. They successfully scammed MU with Onana's transfer. Why do they need him back? The better to let him stay in MU while they approach a new, cheaper, and capable goalie.

Bringing back Onana to Inter Milan is a very bad idea for them. If that will go for Martínez, although they might think after they bring him back he will be able to do something better for them, I don’t think that will happen. If they really want to get a better goalie, I don’t think Onana will be a better option. But let’s see if they will take him or not. I don’t think they will end up making that decision, to be honest.

It’s not a secret anymore that Liverpool are still interested in signing Alexander Isak, his been there number one target up front even before signing Ekitike, Now he has told Newcastle that he wants to access his options in the transfer market and it’s not like he submitted a transfer request, and Newcastle already in search of replacement knowing that Liverpool will be sending a British record deal soon.
And it seems Liverpool's plans to acquire Isak won't be that smooth. Several other clubs are also interested, but Newcastle are determined to keep him. The transfer window is still open for quite some time. We don't know what surprises the future holds.

One thing is for sure, in the EPL, one of the most anticipated updates is Viktor Gyökeres, who is flying to London with his agent. Because this is a crucial negotiation, Viktor Gyökeres only wants to go to Arsenal, and the official results of the negotiations will be out. I think we'll see him soon.
Everyone in the football community would know that Liverpool is very much interested in Isak, And you think it’s going to be a difficult deal to do, I really don’t think it would be a difficult deal considering that the player have expressed his desire to explore his options, that means a lot that the club is now aware, you can’t keep a player who wants to leave because it’s his career he is entitled to have his ambition and people are talking about Saudi he doesn’t want to play in Saudi, Now he has said he doesn’t want to play in Champions league, He wants to win the Champions League and the Premier League, And he has his priorities to play in Liverpool, All Newcastle has to do is open their door for a transfer negotiations, because it’s not a good thing to keep a player who doesn’t want to stay he will definitely not be committed enough to offer everything.

Alexander Isak knows that it’s an opportunity for him to move to Liverpool, The question is he is 25yrs old and soon big clubs might not circle around him, For Isak the time is now, because he might not have the opportunity to do so in a few years, The question is can Newcastle offer him Premier League, Champions League, Well I don’t think so, Can Liverpool offer him premier league, Champion League, Yes, Now he has this things in his head to make a move and compete in the biggest level of football. Liverpool has the money is there they have gone crazy and the player is ready to Play in Liverpool. What Liverpool is doing is ridiculous.

The Isak plan is very simple in theory:

It completely depends on Luis Díaz's potential sale this summer. If it happens Liverpool will use the sum for Isak. If it fails they aren't in this race for him.

But the issue is that they demand a lot of money for Díaz. They turned down an offer near €70m by Bayern Munich lately. I'm keenly waiting on how much they'll go up this level.  Roll Eyes

By the way Liverpool has spent like €300m in the summer already. It sounds crazy!

I heard that the Saudis are offering Isak 600 thousand a week in wages - twice as much as in Liverpool. Could this be the next big factor in the puzzle everyone is trying to piece together? Just over 30 million a year versus just over 15 million a year. The difference looks significant, but the sporting difference looks even more significant - it's one thing to play in the EPL and another in the SPL. I think it's too early for Isak to leave for the SPL.

Overspending or not depend each players performance for his new club, Alexander Isak actually performed perfectly for Newcastle United last season scoring 21 goals behind 30 appearances. Spending out 150 million euro actually not really expensive for signing Alexander Isak but will guarantee scoring above 20 goals for next season with Liverpool? For this moment, not really surprising with player valuable around 100 million euro to 150 million euro exactly if players signing by Premier League teams.

If any player come from top ten standings team in Premier League have valuable up to 70 million euro how last two signed from Manchester United, not really overspending for Alexander Isak value offer by Newcastle United reach to 150 million euro.

This is call friendly indeed because at some point there is no need to waste so much energy on friendly games althoyeven as it a pre season preparation and and we cant use that as a basis for any of our judgement for now, since alot is expected over the coming day's that need all the energy most especially for Liverpool who got eyes on the trophy in the coming season.
You're very right mate, friendly match should be seen as what they are, we can't be giving much attention to this kind of games but the truth is that there are normal matches that are like this too, the perceived  better side will be possessing the ball and their opponent will be doing the scoring it happens but considering the fact that we know Liverpool as a force, i doubt if in real games they will give such opportunity to AC Milan but for now, i have to congratulate AC Milan on their victory after all it is also a football match and I will also do same if Liverpool has win the match, Liverpool will be the major contenders of the English premier league and the UEFA champions league, we already know that.

Wow, this is a very big test for isak here, because the numbers is too tempting to just ignore as if it's nothing, this is an opportunity that can change his financial history forever if he took it, but then by accepting it, he is practically putting his playing career to a halt because the trophy and glory that came with playing in Europe is way more higher than that of Saudi Arabia league, so it's all depends on his desire as a person because I know that 300k a week from Liverpool is also a huge one considering how much that can do to his finance, so if I were to Advice him, I would tell him to ignore the Saudi Arabian route for now because he is too young for that, their is time for everything, and that time of going to Saudi hasn't come yet.

Judging by the statements of the Liverpool management, they are capable of doing this. But now I am tense about the fact that Isak is following the path of Gyokeris, starting to exert unhealthy (by sabotage) pressure on the club. I really don't like this trend - a contract is a contract, if you signed it, then fulfill it to the end or pay a penalty for breaking it. If Liverpool doesn't want to pay 130-150 million (as Newcastle wants) then let Isak wait until the end of the contract.

Sporting and Newcastle both aren't satisfied with this situation for sure. But I think we should understand the players' future plans as well. They didn't want to waste their time in a smaller team for longer.

Gyökeres is 27 and Isak is 25 now. They are both in their most productive age range. It is better for them to show their skills to the world at bigger teams playing in the most prestigious leagues.  Smiley
