This is the first match of both teams in the new season but the bookies mercilessly immediately gave Liverpool very low odds, it is not surprising considering they are strong candidates for the title but if you consider when they played against Crystal Palace some time ago, Bournemouth still has a chance to appear surprising, I don't like betting directly for Liverpool to win, the return is too low, there is a pretty good option, namely BTTS @ 1.64, I think Bournemouth can still score one goal against Liverpool.

Liverpool are the current title defenders and though they might have had a terrible game against Crystal Palace, we ought to note that, that isn’t the premier league and though it was a trophy match which Crystal Palace won for the first time, I don’t think Liverpool took much to it.
Today’s first game of the season started rather slowly but, Liverpool should it’s night in the end haven’t beaten Bournemouth to a 4 goals to 2. The goal market was a good take for this game.

The match was quite exciting and even though Bournemouth lost, they still tried their best, put up a fierce fight and didn't waste many chances. However Liverpool mentality was clearly visible in this match. Although the score was tied until the 88th minute, Moh Salah and Chiesa became the winner for Liverpool in the last 10 minutes with the goals they scored. This is a good start for Liverpool because they got the full 3 points.

The Premier League’s first match of the season was played tonight between Liverpool and Bournemouth, and Liverpool won 4–2.
Ekitike started the new season with a goal for his new team. He had also been scoring in the preseason matches and now he has started scoring in the league too.
Liverpool played well and won. They are one of the most ambitious teams this season. They made very good transfers and are among the biggest favorites for the championship.

Congratulation to Liverpool to take the lead from the premier league table, because they refused to lose the game not to make people lose their trust in them. I thought De Bruyne wing and other players that left the club will affect Liverpool performance but what they showcase to secure 4 goals show that they have prepared in this season.

I see Ekitike like someone that will perform more than De Bruyne and other forward players in this season, because he really surprised people yesterday to secured 2 goals for his first game to contribute for the victory. I thought the game will ended up in draw 2:2, but  Liverpool develop more strength in the second half to beat Bournemouth 4:2 to win their first game from the season.

I think this season is going to bring something surprising at the end of the campaign, things we expected will hardly happen, clubs that we don't expect might be the winner of this season's EPL title.
The early kick off between Aston Villa vs Newcastle is really funny in the sense that the favorite (Villa) are not having a better opening day of the season, no shots no shots on target and they have been running and defending, even lucky to end the first half the way they started. Aston Villa haven't been up to speed both in their attack and midfield and I would like to see Villa coming back strong in the second half and to stop the runs from Elanga who had the chance of sending the his team ahead and Gordon too, these guys will be the problem for Villa if they don't correct their first half mistakes, this game might even end in a draw.

The first half of the match has ended, but the two teams haven’t been able to score any goal yet. What surprises me most in the match is that Aston villa couldn’t get any shot in the first half of the match, that’s really bad for them, and Newcastle had 2 shots on target, but they couldn’t convert any into goal. Isak is really a talented player, and he has been helping Newcastle, so we should know that when a player like this leaves a club, then his absence is really going to be felt, and I won’t be surprise that Newcastle will find it difficult to get perfect replacement for Isak.

We should see how the second half of the match will be, let’s see if any of the team will be able to secure a goal in the second half of the match. With the way the two teams played in the first half of the match, if i will be predicting the winner, then am going to be predicting Newcastle to get a win in the match, or a draw to happen in the match.

Today's game is being played with a fairly even performance and no player has been able to score a goal for 61 minutes yet. The reason for this is that the hard work and efforts of both teams are stopping each other and every player has the opportunity and can score with his strength and win this easy match. If this is the case, then they should try to score a goal together, which will give them a lot of advantage and if they cannot do this, then they should try to stop Aston Villa from doing so.

It is obvious that there are some matches in which such predictions have to be made and the teams have to play well and badly in the match. It's really a tough match for both team though first half Newcastle united was more on the game than Aston villa and Aston villa had zero short on target first half and I'm not sure if they even had off target, it was this bad. They were trying this second half and I was thinking they might be able to win the match not until they had this red card which have spoilt there plan and the red card was due to inexperienced defender, how would a defender do such thing when he is closing to the striker and it was so obvious that they wouldn't have even scored the goal.

NO excuses for Newcastle even if they missed Isak. They're still capable enough in beating Villa especially when their opponent went down with 10 men. In fact, they are as crap as Villa in this game. Bad build up, lack of creativty, tens of backpass, and horrible end product. It seems they will be getting draw with Villa.
All of their players seem forgotten about how to passing properly. Their gameplay is dross and not worthy to watch.

Liverpool made no mistake and won at home by four goals. Bournemouth, who had hope until the final 10 minutes, lost the match after conceding goals in the final 10 minutes. It appeared to be a perfect match for Liverpool. The excitement will continue in the Premier League tomorrow afternoon.

The match was so interest and beyond my imagination. I was thinking that Liverpool will be a big flop this season following the tragedy that befell them. It was a good start for the Reds and I'm glad to see their hitman Mohamed Salah scoring the winning goal. Although it was a poor one for them when Anoine Semenyo scored his double to level the match but Liverpool were able to quickly correct the mistake from the 88th and ended the match in 4-2 win which is a good way to start the season.

The chances were there but the finishes was where they got it all wrong, even with the dominance and the red card that came mid second half due to the Konsa foul on Gordon. They ought to have done more in this game and maybe go home with the 3 points but, Aston Villa had a very compact defense to ensure that didn’t happen so, I would give them credit for that.

Yeah, i saw that Newcastle got some big chances, but missed it just because they have no good end product. Their end product problem could be fixed if Isak was there, but he's gone. No doubt their fans are callin him like a rat. I guess so much hates will come to Isak very soon.

First few games of the day gave off that vibe of very boring games to come after Villa drew with NewCastle 0-0, then the next two games were 0-0 at the half and thought this was going to be the order of the day but good to see that goals finally came..

Westham losing today is no surprise after some key players were sold but let's not take away the work Sunderland has put in...

Tottenham win going as expected after that brave fight against PSG..so far so good.

Tottenham Hotspur has started the season with a clean sheet against Burnley after scoring an outstanding 3 goals. From the start of the game to its finish, Tottenham Hotspur controlled the game and I can say that they really deserve the win. Burnley faught all through but the rate of offsides recorded is not encouraging. Burnley's defence is not so bad as Kyle Walker is having a positive influence on the defence. Richalison is good and getting two goals for himself was brilliant. The game was not against speculators expectation. Maybe Burnley would use this game to look up their flaws and improve in their coming games.

Tottenham Hotspur has started the season with a clean sheet against Burnley after scoring an outstanding 3 goals. From the start of the game to its finish, Tottenham Hotspur controlled the game and I can say that they really deserve the win. Tottenham had a fantastic day today with Richarlison's world classic second goal, which added to the 3:0 defeat on Burnley. Whose attacking force wasn't strong to take by surprise the fluctuating defensive game of the Spurs, unfortunately, the finisher wasn't there for Burnley to secure a single goal. Tottenham has a strong game play this season, and took every opportunity they saw in today's game.

First game week of the season and we already have a goal that would contend for best goal with the Richarlison over head kick. It was such an irregular play from Spurs at the start, the defense seemed into much disarray and I was very surprised at how this team was handling this game against Burnley, understood why PSG had to beat them but, they did their best to get back in the game. Kudus remains such an addition to the game, creating 2 of those marvelous chances, his got so much to add to this squad.

Didn’t get to see the Sunderland game but, I see the scoreline and the fact that they managed to win, I just have to watch the highlights.

Burnley is one of the newly promoted teams in the Premier League and started the season with a loss. I think this loss is normal because their opponent was strong and they sold their best player, James Trafford, to Man City.

The Aston Villa vs. Newcastle United match ended goalless. Aston Villa played very poorly and were reduced to 10 players after Ezri Konsa received a red card, but they still managed to earn 1 point from the match.

Liverpool is not looking like a team that is ready to take any chances this season though they still feel pains as you can see the way Mo Salah was crying while appreciating the fans at the end of the match but looking at their form they aren't flopping any time soon with the squad they have in the team.
When the game become 2:2, Liverpool was still pushing attack to ensure that they win the game and finally they scored two more goals, from the performance of Liverpool having Isak in the team this season will make them become unstoppable.

Their game was not that interesting to me; it was rather boring, but this is not how these two teams will perform throughout the season, or is it because this is their first game? I thought the second half would be much better since the first half ended and both teams didn’t scoring any goals.  I was expecting that they would continue to play the same games, which is how they ended up drawing.  Newcastle simply managed to gain possession without scoring any goals.

I expected this Burnley team to actually be very well organized because they were actually doing so well last season but yet again there form there didn’t seem to take effect here, this is a very poor start to the season seriously. Their attack seriously let them down in this game as they should have score two or more goals against this Tottenham side whose defense is looking more weaker with the full backs not looking great to me. I think Kudus and Richarlison might be the greatest asset for the Tottenham side this season plus Malanga Sarr will seriously be at heart of everything this season.

As for the game between Aston Villa and Newcastle United I was actually expecting Aston Villa to go ahead and win because of the way this Newcastle are disorganized at the moment but the red card to Konsa seriously change this game.

The game between Sunderland and West Ham was really surprising because I expected at most a draw for Sunderland but seems like West Ham are still not over their last season slumber, three goals and a very good start for Sunderland to announce their comeback to the English premier league
