That's gonna the 4-year cycle and this is what the people are actually preparing for during every bitcoin halving. This means that we have yet to see a halving-related bullrun yet because the true bullrun happens after the halving.
I wouldn't be too optimistic with my predictions on the 2024, but I also feel like bitcoin would touch $100k at some point next year, but most likely we'll be seeing a 6 digit figure on the Christmas day of 2025, referencing the 4-year cycle as what we can see in the last 3 post-halving bitcoin price.

Yes, it looks like the 4 year cycle will still occur. After the halving, many people predict the start of a bull run for Bitcoin.
But if you look at what has happened, bull runs usually occur a few months after the halving, and that could happen in 2025.
Many of us are optimistic that bitcoin will touch $100k after the next halving, so we are preparing to have a lot of bitcoin so that the profits we can get are also bigger.
We must remember that we can only predict where the price of bitcoin will move, but we don't know whether it will actually happen according to our predictions or whether the market will move beyond our predictions. The increase to $40k is a good sign for us because at least we can see movement from bitcoin.
So we still have to be patient.

Good, obviously after the halving the next year always experiences a bull run with a new all-time high. This means the next halving is next year 2024 after the halving is over. 2025 we are expecting the next bull run to come. What we don't know is when it starts. Is it in the first quarter of 2025, in the middle, or at the end of the year?

This is one of those Christmas I am bullish about. Next year I might be selling a bit of my bitcoin against the next halving or might buy more when the halving starts.

Notice a pattern? I mean it's pretty obvious already.
Up, Up, Up then Down. That's the pattern that I'm seeing .

In 2022 we saw the market go down then in 2023, we saw Bitcoin's price going up. I expect that Bitcoin in the next 2 years will be going up in price as well. Of course, these are just patterns, and there's no certainty that it will happen in the future as well. Nevertheless, I will just continue accumulating Bitcoin, and will sell at my target prices.

Thank you for the nice topic. It is nice to see this historical overview of the price of Bitcoin during Christmas. This quick comparison brings a lot of optimism about the future of Bitcoin, as we see that despite some declines in some years, the general trend is clearly upward.

It is also clear that the rise always occurs after every halving, so we are very optimistic about the next halving in 2024, which is expected to exceed all previous peaks, as is clear from this simple historical presentation.

Yeah. It'd make for an amazing Christmas in 2024 if Bitcoin hit $100,000.  The way Bitcoin took off this past year, I can see it marching steadily skyward the next couple years too.  But it's anyone's guess. Bitcoin's proven itself a real wild card.  Here's hoping you're spot on!

Bitcoins have followed a pattern to reach ATH price. Hence we can see these prices vary in each 3-4 years and it leaves a positive attitude among ourselves. Its completely observable that we are approaching towards a new ath price this next year. Hence its high time to consider this as an hint and buy as many coins as we can in this cheap price. Buy now and sell when demand and price is high to make the most profit from it.

Have been waiting for that prediction mate , How long will it take from December 25th 2024 to have its place to 6 digits? there are years that does not follow the increase in the next one like 2014 , 2018 and 2022 in which the early year brings more than what the next one.

Your prediction was slightly missed and that is because the market is currently experiencing some corrections. We were even above $108K this month but before today, been the day of Christmas, bitcoin have been on correction and that’s why we are seeing the price on $99K today.

I don’t know the factors you’re using to predict the price of bitcoin on every Christmas, maybe it’s past data’s or not, but I can’t wait to see what the price of bitcoin will be by next year 25th, let’s see if your prediction will be correct or even come close to this time around.

OP your predictions for this Christmas was close. As at now the price of Bitcoin is about 99,238.79USD and it might hit $100k before the day runs out. But you prediction for next year Christmas might not be accurate because we might be in the bear season at that time. Which means the price might not get to $120k at that time. However, the price for 25th December 2025 will be determined by the ATH of this present bull run. If the price got to $180k and above, your predictions for next year might be feasible but it will not get to that price if the ATH is below $180k.

In our local parlance we use to say, "if I have seen 99 what is 1". If it's anything to go by then approximately I think bitcoin price at 99,023 is as just as 100k for a bitcoin price prediction you had to make one year a ago happening as close as that.

On the other hand I do feel that predicting $120k for december 25th 2025 when we are at an ATH of over $105k  right now is as though you are not that really motivated that bitcoin price will do much highs by that period as much as it did in 2024. Looking at the price history, in 2023 25th december price was $43k yet you got confident to give a $100k prediction despite the gap from 43-100. Perhaps you just trying to play much safer with your prediction this time or I could be wrong.

I hope that you are right with that but the others are predicting higher than $120k. And as for OP, you can now edit the thread and update it with 2024's Christmas price at $99k.
