History of najia local board (how e Tay start)

Any time click on this thread, there is something that always comes to my mind to say and i don't if actually it can be possible, first the all the moderators that make it possible to see that today we have our naija local board working and functioning everyday more kudos to them all and especially oga igebotz he has moderating all the thread in this great naija local board from time to time and also being very helpful in all ratification.

Oga igebotz is it possible to create a thread that we members of this great naija local board can display our culture either by annually or every last Friday of the month, because i believe that it will be a great fun, seeing different cultures being displayed.

What do you mean by displaying your culture? I don't understand what you mean by that, may be you could throw more light on it. ^{Mind you can always open a thread and talk about your culture on the Politics and society sub-board.}

Well done @Hatchy, there is nothing without a history on earth. At least with these histories of our local board it will encourage most of us on how far the local board have gone after its creation and to also acknowledge the efforts of some of our active heroes who took it upon themselves to make the local board become what it is today.

Omo eh chai we really get men Dem for we local board and I'm so proud of y'all as una don really make our/my arrival for this forum very stress free because imagine the kind fight wey una do just so we go fit get our own local board and earn respect from this oyibo people Dem wey some of Dem sabi to dey look down on us wey from Africa. Walai! This whole thing Kon make me remember the struggles wey Nigerian Nationalists face to make sure we country go get independence. As I see a when the boss dem move motion and request for our own local board and the oyibo them no gree, kon still bash them on top join. E make me realize even more say them no want make we get our own platform to dey do our things, rather they want us to always dey under their bonnet dey worship them like black Jesus.

To keep raising up same issues for a very long time is not an easy task that everyone can do,
But I dey impressed say some people take am as their responsibility to make the Local Board a reality.

Great struggle made in the past by men who carried a burden of vision and made sure to pursue it following all processes. Weldone for paying all sacrifices of perseverance, patience and consistency.  Because if they had let go after the first attempt and never tried again because  the request was not granted there wouldn't be a naija board such as this.

We all also have a role to play in this present day in ensuring that we akways remember the struggle of our heroes who brought this vision to a reality and also making sure we always make the board lively and interactive.  Coming with more interesting games and competitions all for the growth of the board.

Although the thread wasn't necessary as we're barely a year old but I appreciate the effort put into creating the thread. Maybe if this thread been dey come out in our 5 years or 10 years anniversary na when I got see more importance to the thread but anyhow sha kudos for reminding us where we started from. This fight no start as Nigeria fight but as Africa and threads like this (No African local board) na wetin open our eyes to the struggle. Mpamaegbu come bring the appeal for a Nigerian board, dat time I dey full member and many of the OGs here still dey very lower rank. I remember because na when I reach Snr member wey I create that hangout thread and then we had a place to brings heads together and got what we have today.

If anybody here has to take credit na Mpamaegbu as na him open our eyes we come dey come together as one family and today we dun big like this. We still dey grow sha and small small we go get a bigger board wey go dey compete with the other boards but to do that we need more quality posters and as we dey post make we no only dey run am say we want complete weekly quota but to add quality to the board so anytime wey we request for anything them no go waste time approve am for us.

We dun try for ourselves and we go continue they push forward, all those bigger boards una dey see so, e take dem time to build am to where e dey so make we no dey rush our own. Small small we go get everything. Theymos get how him dey do e things, just requesting won't give us what we want but strategic planning go give us am.

E no easy say out of all Africa countries na Naija first get local board,  e show say una wey be big shoes for the board they represent wella.
