100 Push-Ups Per Day Until Bitcoin Is £100K Challenge

I never did a push-up for Bitcoin to reach it to 100K. But Bitcoin eventually reached the mark. I understand some of you guys took it seriously and did those push-ups. Congratulations to you guys even though I criticized some of you for being jerks. I believe some of you know that this initiative was abused by some jerk but that is okay. Everything has two sides.

Now, don't start a thread with a title do a thousand push-ups daily until Bitcoin is a million. LOL. A 10 push-ups is already enough for me and I cannot think of a hundred. So, a thousand push-ups will be the last day on earth.

You sound bitter and out of touch.

It seems a bit weird to proclaim someone or maybe more than someone was abusive in regards to this thread.   Just because $100k was reached does not mean that pushups are not helpful to keep the price above $100k.  Maybe your angry post jinxed us back below $100k and you need to do womd pushups and maybe work your way up to $100k in order that we might get back above $100k and stay above that price point for the coming year or however, long any of us might still continue to do pushups and continue to participate in this thread.

Since BTC prices only stayed above $100k for 17 hours, perhaps we barely were able to even keep the BTC price above such price point and it would have had never gotten there, absent the daily pushups...and yeah we were recommending 100 pushups per day, but guys have been able to do however many they want.

I'm obviously not stopping at $100k. I'll be pushing all the way to $10M.

I believe that we all had different reasons for joining this energetic thread, some joined for the pushup, some with faith that Bitcoin will hit the $100k mark, others joined to have a reason to exercise their bodies. Whatever the reasons were that motivated us and we had to join the pushup and be active is worth it because it has become a win win for us, price has touched $100k and we're stronger mentally and physically, that is what counts the most for me. So going forward for me, it's no longer about the $100k price, we've achieved that, I'm continuing with the pushup because it's beneficial to me and as long as this thread continues I'll be reporting. Although I don't pushup everyday but giving reports here is one of my motivations to do so when I can, so that I can have something to report.

Who I'm I to discourage anyone to pushup till Bitcoin price hits $10m, if they can perhaps have a 10 to 20 years plan, nothing is impossible. Isn't that the aim of hodling Bitcoin? DCA for decades, and if you're counting your pushups till then I'm pretty sure that $10m price and pushups can become a reality .

I was laying in bed and telling myself take today off don't do the pushups.

Sounds like me every morning. Then I call myself a pussy and get back to it. This week has been brutal on me though. I’m dog sitting a couple of monsters, still recovering from Thanksgiving, and decided to buy new furniture for the house which is always fun moving stuff all over the place. If I could sleep for 24 hours straight, I would. I guess I’ll drop and do 40 to get my day started instead.

However, from old bitcoiners can learn not only how to own bitcoin, but also an excellent sense of humor.

On a more serious note...  I haven't done any push-ups today.  I can see the price is dipping back below $100,000 so I'm guessing I'm not the only one here who has been doing too much celebrating and not enough pushing.  So I'm going to go get started and see if we can't push this sucker (see what I did there) up to new highs.  No slacking!  Only pushing!

Sometimes it is nice being a Bitcoiner.  I am a little bit tired this morning though. 

I guess I'll quit messing around on the computer and get to doing some push-ups so we can get back above $100,000.  Did some adjustments to the regular portfolio this morning that I'm happy with as we near the end of the year.  Almost time to start figuring out taxes.  Hopefully the last year we have to claim capital gains on our BTC if Donald Trump can come through for us...

Hell no, is this going to be our new target now and for the foreseeable future My tshirt for the challenge is still not up and I also seem to still have to find another target for push ups now because indeed when you are already doing push ups obviously this cannot just stop.

It seems like there are still a lot of people doing the Challenge today and that's what I'm still doing for now.
Masdih as before I still can't meet the target of 100 times in 1 day but my ability has improved more where before it was 60 for the first day and now after 25 days I am in this challenge my push ups are at an average of 75-85 for a day.

Here is my take on the $100K situation as it currently stands. I don’t believe we have officially hit $100,000 per Bitcoin until it settles at that price or above for the monthly close. If on January 1st of 2025 the price of Bitcoin is above $100,000 a decision will need to be made on the thread subject.

I don't know for how long I am going to continue to do pushups. 

I had a few activities contributing to my inability to carry out my post touching $100k pushups' long day, and I am tentatively thinking that I will do my long day on Sunday.

My other pushups related goals (and participation in this thread) has to do with keeping the BTC price above $100k, so I don't think that we have clearly cleared $100k and established supra $100k as our new prices, so I would prefer to stay above $100k (and in six digits) rather than revisiting sub $100k and 5 digits.

Another thing that I personally would like to achieve is to have my number of pushups to reach (and touch the BTC price), which I think is more than reasonable to be able to accomplish in the near future. .and way more quickly than the BTC spot price touching the 200-WMA - especially since my daily pushups are tending to be in the 250 per day arena, and the 200-WMA is currently ONLY gaining about $45 per day (and the 200-WMA is currently way down in the $42k arena).

As you mentioned, having had experienced several benefits from daily pushups, I might not want to stop doing them, but for now, I would like to continue.. including also getting to a year of doing pushups might be another reasonable goal, with my current day count at 306, so that is ONLY 59 more days, which does not seem like very much, relatively speaking.

I see everyone still pushing which is nice, some mates on bench resuming at 100k not bad..
Since we have more pushers and we already cross 100  can we determine a new price target or what’s on the mind of OP… closing the thread?? then maybe DK can also make modi.. if possible to the entry format of  “ 100k” to the new target if OP has one

Here is my take on the $100K situation as it currently stands. I don’t believe we have officially hit $100,000 per Bitcoin until it settles at that price or above for the monthly close. If on January 1st of 2025 the price of Bitcoin is above $100,000 a decision will need to be made on the thread subject.

Why impose artificial requirements upon yourself? I doubt that the matter is as urgent as you are making it out to be.  Are you letting diptwat trolls bother you?  We have a good thing going and we have guys doing pushups and we have DirtyKeyboard monitoring a script that he made for this thread and for this project.  You yourself had said that you wanted to also continue doing daily pushups at least until a year of the start of this thread... .. but yeah, maybe a change to the topic... at some point may be reasonable.. and upon the close of the month.. we will see.. I am thinking the odds are greater than 50/50 that this month will close higher than $100k, yet at the same time in bitcoin, we can never really know with any confidence.. 25 days are likely to pass by quickly.

well I hope to push on. I have not quite got to a 100 a day average even with my 120 a day.

I have many milestones to do.

100 days in a row
10000 pushups

are a quick three I need to do and I can do them before my birthday which is 52 days from now.

If all works out I will revisit what I do then.

But to be honest we all should continue as all the cash btc shit coins silver gold and diamonds are not much good if we are way out of shape and too sick to enjoy,it.

I am glad that I discovered this thread today. Because bitcoin price is also 100k and now I do not have to do any pushups.
