Do bitcoin accelerators really work ?

I had one of my transaction stuck for quite long time. I tried some free bitcoin accelerators but it had no impact on the speed the transaction. Later the transaction got confirmed on its own. So I feel that these free BTC accelerators are just marketing gimmick to sell their paid options or to drive traffic on their sites. Do you agree with this ?

Viabtc accelerator works very well that is if your transaction fee is equal to what they use as their limit, and the transaction size also need to be below same level.

But for those who said they are offering free acceleration service most of them are lying and just using that means to get traffic from those who are in search to use free accelerator’s service, aside from viabtc accelerator almost all of them if not all offering free service don’t work.

Of course legit ones like ViaBtc works only for most of them you have to pay for an acceleration. Unfortunately the free hourly acceleration ViaBtc offers is actually being flooded by bots making it very difficult to use their free service.

It depends on which one.
For example during 2017 spam attacks a lot of scammers started creating websites claiming to "accelerate" stuck transactions for money. Then they submitted these transactions in free accelerators or just took the money and ran.
The point here is that in these cases even if they work, they are scamming you nonetheless.

The only accelerator that can be legitimate is one run by a mining pool or a solo miner. Something like ViaBTC which is a mining pool and runs such a service. Others are most probably scams.

Free Bitcoin accelerators don't work so well.
Nobody does to make your transaction be priority to confirm for free. Like if the current trx fee is 35 sats and you are sending just paying for 25 sats, that won't make it. These free accelerators don't give you an additional 10 sats to get the confirmation as I noticed when trying to use these services they only just add a few cents. It won't get the confirmation until the trx fees drop to where we set them.

Not a useless stuff but not recommended. Since it was a free service, we can't urge them to work on our request and help it out. That is why before sending, we also check https://mempool.space/ to have some views on how long our transaction to be confirmed especially when we set on the low priority size.

Viabtc hasn't worked well for a long time(since last I tried it). Since the inscription of ordinals on the Blockchain, these developers have flooded most free accelerators with bots. And when every you wait for the hourly free acceleration you find out that it has already been taken in less than a second. So no, viabtc hasn't been working well for some time now.

Op, you have to be really careful with some of these online accelerators as most of them are scam. You might end up paying for a service that might not work and at the end, your transaction remains unconfirmed. If you want to use some paid service, just use those of

There's also this free transaction acceleration service provided by a member of the forum and as far as I know, they've been working for long and still functional. So you might try they out if you have another stuck transaction

Sometimes confirmation on the mempool takes time before the confirmation complete, maybe as at the time you did your transaction there were many transactions ahead of you that needs to be attended to before yours.  Sometimes if you use low transaction lower than 20sats /vbyte, it might take longer than expected even with free accelerator tools. If you have used the medium transaction fee, it would have gone earlier because minners would place your transaction above others.

Back in the last bull market in 2017, I think I've tried almost every single transaction accelerator I've seen on Google lol and the only accelerator that actually helped is the one by ViaBTC. I'm not 100% sure, but the other accelerators just make it seem like they're "accelerating" your transaction but in reality they do nothing lmao.

I have never used these tools, if I want a transaction to be confirmed quickly I will accept increased transaction fees, and for regular transactions I am willing to wait.

Are you using free tools and what are you expecting? If it were you, would you be willing to spend a lot of your money and effort to build a tool for everyone to use but not gain any profit? So don't complain about free things in this world, nothing is free or cheap that will bring high quality. Use a paid tool like Viabtc that everyone mentioned or increase the transaction fee for the next transaction.

A Google search will lead you to a bad result from services that claim to be free bitcoin accelerators, and all they do is rebroadcast that transaction. Therefore, unless the accelerator is linked to a mining pool, it is either a scam or it is rebroadcasting the transaction.

As far as experience goes, Viabtc seems to work, (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator)

They have the free and paid services, haven't tried the paid though, but usually the free services is enough for everyone although there is a cap as to the number of transactions they can talk in an hour.

And as per their website, they have help accelerated 741909 transactions. And they are one of the first to offer this kind of services since 2018, so I think there is no gimmick from their end. Not sure about others though.

I used Viabtc about a week ago and there were still a few free slots open, even a couple of minutes after the full hour. Might have been just luck though.

For newcomers it's worth noting that even with legit accelerators it might take a few blocks until the miner gets lucky and the transaction finally included.

As many other have stated, viabtc is the way to go.
I can also just tell good things about that site. In the past I was lucky enough to use their free service occasionally but the paid one also works like a charm.
Had btc stuck forever until I finally found that site and never had that problem ever since.

ViaBtc is the only one that I know that's legitimate but you're as good as just waiting for your transaction to finish on its own because ViaBtc and probably any legitimate accelerators are being exploited by abusive crypto people that flood it with bots so their transactions are the one that's going to get the priority. It's not a gimmick as you might think it is but it's definitely a tool that's not properly created or utilized because not everyone can use it and finding other alternative accelerators would probably end with you arriving in a sketchy one and you end up getting scammed so just wait for it.

Demand going high and resulting in lesser available slots does not mean a service was not working well. Ordinals caused a lot of spam on the Bitcoin network moving users to ViaBTC in the hope of getting their transaction confirmed in a reasonable time, with a reasonable fee. Spammers and bots also attacked this service and made it harder to get those free slots.

This was however fixed after a while and the total free transactions were reduced to 20.

This is like saying Bitcoin did not work well cause ordinals were complicating transactions.

I would say no, unless it's either,
1. Offered by mining pool. While solo miner and miner (which join certain pool which let miner add arbitrary transaction) exist, i would say it's not reliable.
2. The service can provide proof they cooperate with certain mining pool.

And aside from wasting our time, i would speculate those fake/scam accelerator service might collect and store your data (such as IP address, TXID and browser fingerprint).

These days, ViaBTC require you to own account, pass CAPTCHA and more strict TX requirement which makes it usable again. But with minimum fee rate imposed by ViaBTC and current mempool condition, it become less attractive.

There are too many scams on the internet and if you are not very carful, you will get scammed. I have not used Bitcoin accelerator before because the need have not arise. My friends who have used Bitcoin transaction accelerator service before, said they did it from their wallet apps and I don't know the wallet they were using to store their Bitcoin but I believe that there are some Bitcoin wallet that offers free accelerator service, am not sure but only saying it based on what my friend said.

You can not conclude that Bitcoin transactions accelerators don't work because you had a bad experience with one.

I one had a bad experience too with an acceleration vendor that takes fees from people claiming to accelerate transactions but they usually just put them in one of the accelerators and it's done then you pay them, after I discovered asked people with more experiences and I was directed to viabtc and surely it worked.

Now that you have asked question, I guess you wouldn't conclude that accelerators don't work because of your one experience.
