Is Solana still Worth buying??

last year's solana power potential was extraordinary, honestly I really hope the solana hype era is back in the upcoming bull season.

Thanks to the most meme coins at that time. I've seen it happen and missed the train but that's okay. I don't think that I'll ever buy it because IMO I am late to the party already. But those that have bought it under $100 were all good and will have to wait until the market flourishes again and the momentum is back with Solana which could happen at the end of this year or by 2025.

now the dominant hype of the TON ecosystem is trending. the samo meme coin that made me not expect to get big money 9k just paste the solana wallet and many more in the solana airdrop era that made me unable to sleep. now the development of the solana ecosystem is still good

The trend always changes. TON's ecosystem is being hyped due to the tapping projects and the airdrops that they're doing there. Don't worry, they're not going to last and if you're unable to sleep with solana airdrops then I guess that you're also missing a lot of sleep and going on with sleepless night trying to get into these airdrops. Don't forget to take care of yourself, I know that money is everything to each individuals that are doing such but it is not the everything and you'll realize that man.

I see that when the price of bitcoin goes up a lot as soon as it breaks the ATH, we will see the price of solana going up a lot to the point of also breaking the ATH and this means that at least people will be able to make a profit of 2X, I'm talking about people who buy now at $155. Now something that people need to keep in mind is that the price of bitcoin also still has the potential to make a profit of at least 3x. So it becomes mandatory for people to think hard about whether it is worth putting money in solana or bitcoin. Because if people lose interest in meme coins, then the price of solana will go down even while the price of bitcoin is going up and people will miss a good opportunity to make a profit.

Institutions do be slow because big money is at stake, but when they move, expect the confidence of a Bull for a coin involved

Well price of Solana is up more then 6 percent this week. That is more then Bitcoin and Ethereum and we have to think why. But I do still think yes it is a good token to hodl in your portfolio.
The token has been trading between $115 and $200 in this year so far. But I did read this 'bullish' article so we might get some big gains in the next 'bull run'.

After end of bull run, Solana had started lossing its price and it waas worth $12 in November, 2022. And till August, 2023 solana was below $20. Many were talking about this is end of solana, it'll never pump and then something interesting happened to it and solana pumped 3/4 times from its position. And still its more than $185+ .many people still thinks solana would pump more. So they keep buying solana with such believe.

To me , I don't think the price is too high  for buying because the current price is around $142, which it will pump above $160 before the end of December, and  many people use to sell their coins during December period to prepare so many things that will make Christmas and new year look colorful to them and family. Do you want to wait till the price dump to $20 again? I don't think it will dump to that level this year, but if you want to wait till next year, maybe it will dump to $20.

Solana's growth is quite significant after experiencing a decline, and they rebuilt the trust that was almost lost and finally as it is today, developers have an interest in using the Solana blockchain because it is much cheaper and faster compared to Ethereum, because it is a alternative after Ethereum, some protocols, networks and services are already widely available on the Solana network which makes Solana quite strong and has much greater potential in the future, especially in the upcoming bullrun season, I strongly believe Solana can be more than $300 with its huge potential, and this coin has entered my portfolio as well.

seeing the ecosystem built around SOL definitely $20 is not possible  .
a coin like solana, or any other that has built matured ecosystem and racking big TVL by the billions won't dump as easily like when it was still premature, I expect SOL to go maybe $90 at the worst case scenario if BTC dumped so hard, otherwise it will just float around $120-$160, even right now SOL has climbed up again after having some bearish chart alongside with BTC.

the one thing that I'd be worried maybe if FTX decided to dump their SOL holding even then I don't think they will just dump it like that.

Solana is still worth buying, even after the recent pump. I’ve been holding Solana since it was in the lower range, and despite the ups and downs, its ecosystem continues to expand, and adoption is increasing. The recent rally shows that Solana still has momentum and a strong community behind it.

One thing I’ve found helpful when managing my Solana assets is using the Solana Bundler. It lets you manage multiple wallets and deploy tokens more efficiently, making the process smoother and less costly. For me, it’s made handling Solana much easier, especially during market fluctuations.

If hype persists, I don't see why you should avoid SOL in the first place. It might be a good time to buy some more, before the next "pump". "Meme" coins have been all of the "buzz" lately, with new ones being launched on the Solana blockchain. No wonder, since it's one of the cheapest and fastest Blockchains on the market.

What I don't like about Solana is how unreliable it is. The constant network outages is a huge turn off for me. Jump Crypto's "Firedancer" node software aims to fix this, so maybe there's hope after all? One can only imagine. It's an uncertain future. Thus, expect the unexpected.

If Ethereum is struggling to attract interest, it's hard to see a future where a Solana ETF (if it ever get approved) would fare much better. I do not think that Solana will attract any investors with an unstable blockchain that keeps crashing and has to be restarted every time. Cheap and scalable means nothing when the blockchain itself is unreliable.

Blockchain blackouts aside, what other use case does Solana have which Ethereum does not? Its majority use cases are for meme NFTs, which will fizzle out over time when the community gets bored of them.

I would not invest on hopes and dreams, though. Especially not when it's being hyped while being so new and unproven. I will research it, but since it is so new and only on the testnet so far, there are no guarantees yet. I think the mainnet will be the real test. If it performs well for a year or so I would be more interested in investing. But mainnet is 2025-2026. Quite a long time off.

honestly does the solana investors really care about the blockchain blackout though, most of the people I know that invested in solana simply don't care, it can blackout twice a week and none of these people that I know will give attention or even dumping their solana, what they know is that solana is scalable enough for the meme coin trend and defis in the ecosystem to flourish, so therefore it's a good investment.

personally I might want to delve into buying solana, it just feels right considering that solana community is very strong and the blockchain isn't having any scalability problem despite the massive influx of meme speculators.

You are welcome. I've read only a bit about it, but there are many layers to what it would do to the chain and for what reasons. Some articles are better, some are worse, but I think, in general, what Abilky said - SOL would be good to monitor through this whole ordeal and invest in it if it goes well.

I don't think so, even though I know more about SOL than about SUI (other than it's being hyped), I do know that SOL has the potential and the team to get it rolling into the future.
