It depends on teams. Real Madrid awards capitancy based on longevity in the club. Their first 2 captains Carvajal and Modric are often not on the pitch. Don't really think it hurts them.

Real are a different team, City the same I think. Machines don't need a leader... to that extent I always feel like Liverpool has multiple Achilles heels on that front of energy. They need the fans, they need a captain. Take those away and they're a bit flat. (Feels like Slot addresses this too, while Klopp fed on it).

A relatively unspectacular 0:0 with a lucky point for Stuttgart, imho. Apart from Undav's chance in the 62nd minute, Stuttgart hardly had any dangerous chances and shouldn't have complained if they lost the game 1-0.

Eyes on Dortmund : Leipzig tonight. RB Leipzig needs a win to stay close to Bayern and Dortmund desperately needs a win after the previous poor performances. This one should be interesting.

Pretty good weekend as a FC Bayern fan tbh. We're back to a 3 point lead after RB Leipzig losing against Borussia Dortmund. And we're up already 7 points on Leverkusen and Dortmund.

If they lose a few more "easy" games this one is going to be a great season (without much sweating) for me as Bayern fan, haha.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that he will likely return once the winter transfer period opens. I mean he's 35 so I doubt he will be back at Dortmund or Bayern, but I am sure there are several clubs that are interested in signing him, if he really wants to come back.

Strange that one only gets 2 points from 2-1 (when Mainz won 3-1), and another got me 3 points from 2-1 (Frankfurt won 3-2) -- more points given when you get the winning margin correct I guess, never occurred to me. It's as if they really don't want you to pick the upsets in all these prediction games. Only me and jeremypwr picked Bayer to lose too, the draw gave nothing to all of us.

That's true. Three goalless draws in one round for the Bundesliga looks like pure fantasy. I'm used to most games ending like BTTS Yes here, but this round is special. And that's even without taking into account Bayer's loss of points, Bayern's modest result and Dortmund, which forgot to show up on the pitch (one shot on target).

What a disaster for me again, only 4 points collected, well is very strange to see this but in this round is like we ahve some part of the players with goo ammount of points and the other half with really nothing in their hands.

Definitely feels that going for outside picks is less rewarding -- thankfully SB balances that out with some freebets, so I'll be popping my head in for another couple of surprises.
