You said it yourself that it was an assassination attempt. Not that Trump was severely injured or hospitalized. He is still in good health. Then why should he not attend the Bitcoin 2024 Conference?

Trump security would be tighter and stronger than before which is what that is important. He knows that the conference is important because he wants crypto lovers to vote for him.

You don't have to be physically injured to be unavailable for this kind of non-significant event. You can just be mentally or emotionally harmed. Everyone would have been shocked to receive a bullet in their ear at less than one centimer of their skull. In addition I don't think Trump needs anymore "crypto lovers" in order to be elected TBH. And he doesn't need to attend at a Bitcoin conference for delivering his electoral measures about cryptocurrencies. So it will be a strong move, if he actually achieves it.
