Altcoins experienced a halt in their rally as BTC price fell below $64,000. It is currently at $63,500. After testing $65,000, the possibility of a stronger candidate against Trump also led to a decline in altcoins. Many altcoins turned red. Odds for a Trump victory are still pretty high according to bookmakers, they've not really fallen and are even better than one week ago. Trump remains the big favourite of bookmakers in addition. So I don't think it's something which has significantly hurt the market. Ether ETF approval can help to start an altcoin season though.
