It's quite right time to let go about the situation at Manchester United, since the management has refused to do the needful, that is parting ways with Ten Hag, and bring in new manager, Manchester united isn't more important to Man Utd fans and supporters than it's to the management board who runs business and owns the clus highest shares, So whenever they feeel or decided to come out of slumber and get the right things done to fix up the united team, then good.

Manchester United have formed a new way of measuring success. Manchester United had a draw against Aston Villa, and the fans were delighted with the result. This is the shambolic state the club is in at the moment, the standards have dropped significantly. The team has consistently demonstrated that they cannot perform under Erik Ten Hag yet Manchester United bosses are backing the manager. The other teams in the Premier League are happy to have Erik Ten Hag as United’s manager.

The fans of Manchester United were excited with a draw they got from Aston Villa because they actually expected a loss on the match. Recur that Manchester United have not been very fortunate this season as they have lost majority of their matches. This makes Aston Villa a favourite team to win in that match. Most people actually bet Aston Villa to win, so a draw was a great result for them. I was even surprised that Manchested United was able to draw that match.

I think people have various views when it comes to Manchester United against Aston Villa. While some persons believe that Ten Hag had a different game plan that day which made his team to preform better, others believe that Aston Villa were bein soft on United after the had a thrilling and difficult win against Bayern Munich. But this is my conclusion. The both team on that match day had a very poor play. I did not expect any of them to score at some point because they missed all their opportunities. If any of them would won then it should be Aston Villa but they blew up all their chances.

However, i can agree with you here. Because i have a friend who is a die hard Manchester United fan. He was literally expecting a big loss in that game. Knowing full well that Aston Villa won Bayern in the UCL. He knew Manchester United where no match to Bayern and to Aston Villa in terms of performance.

Are we entirely sure it's "just" the coach? I do agree about how Erik Ten Hag has been a terrible coach and he should be fired there is no doubt about this part, I am not saying coach is good, coach is terrible and awful and should have been fired last season let alone this year.

However, do you think if they fire ETH now, and hire someone better, like for example Pep will be leaving City this summer, so somehow they convinced Pep to come to other side of Manchester, which won2t happen but lets just assume this for a moment, you think they will be good right away? Fenerbahce cannot be underestimated, they are quite better in the league, and they are drawn by the same team, who drew with Man United in the previous match.

I mean currently Fenerbahçe aren't playing that good. They have "The Special One" managing the team this season but for now they are struggling in multiple ways. Such as giving huge opportunities to their opponents and not being able to score comfortably. The defensive weaknesses just don't heal yet. Mourinho should find out a way with the current players he has or with transfers maybe.

And as for the offense, Dzeko is really old now. You can't expect him to play extra but he is still doing it. However not in the Europa League.    En-Nesyri is a huge disappointment. He misses chances unbelievably.

I think their defense is not too bad, they conceded 5 goals in the domestic league and conceded 2 goals in the Europa League, that's not a bad record, in fact I think it's quite good. But I don't deny that they still have weaknesses that they need to fix, one of which is their balance when facing clubs that have the same level or better than them, that's a record that they need to fix immediately. However, in this Europa League, everything is not easy, because all clubs try their best to be able to talk a lot, especially for clubs that are rarely here or clubs that can't be in the Champions League because they can't reach it, at least the Europa League can be a cure for them and can be in the Champions League through direct tickets if they succeed in becoming champions.

Well, this is also what makes me wonder, why do they have a big chance to become champions, is it because of their big name? because if you look at the game they can present, in my opinion they are far from the hope of becoming champions. But I also expect them to become champions and actually I also make them one of the favorites, but not that big. And my reason is also because they have experience when they were in the European competition.
Honestly, I am currently wondering whether it is true that Manchester United will retain Erik Ten Hag as their coach? because in my opinion it is a very big risk, he does not show any progress from the team he leads.

Ten Hag and his players cannot be completely blamed, but both have the right to be responsible for their respective roles. Each player is expected to be able to give his best game for the team, while the coach is also expected to give whatever he can in planning the game. During this time the team is clearly having problems, but one of the two parties does not need to be the only one responsible.

Watch how Manchester United players do in every match when their coach entrusts them to play from the start. They are motivated to some extent, but they don't seem to do it with as much passion as expected. Yes, my hope for Ten Hag is that he needs to be fired. The team will not grow better with him, even if he has given everything he can. Ten Hag found it difficult to increase the motivation and mentality of the Manchester United players to fight to win the match, that was something he didn't have. Another coach is expected to help Manchester United recover, but expecting them to return everything in a short time is also unreasonable.

If Manchester United is to continue growing and challenging at the very top, a reshuffle is clearly overdue, for the coach as well as for the players. Ten Hag has had more than two years, but the results remain wide off expectations. He did manage to steer MU to victory in the 2024 FA Cup, but that's hardly sufficient for a club as large as MU, and which always has high hopes for the Premier League title and success in European competition.

Manchester United doesn't look like a serious team to be among the favorites to win the Europa League, but the name alone is something just that Ten Hag is trying to fade the name Manchester United, if not if Manchester United is in its best form, they will remain the favorites not even the second favorites to win Europa League.

Manchester United can still bounce back especially in the Europa League because the critics alone will make the players play to their standard despite the coach influence in their performance; I am among people that believe that Manchester United can make it in the Europa League unless if Ten Hag didn't do well because Manchester United's performance is going down because of their coach's team selection.

Well just like you have already stated most rightly i think it will be okay too to not want to delve too deep into the issues of Manchester united because at some point its beginning to sound like an over stretched one at this point and so it feels more reasonable to go ahead to talk about others who are on the table with their own probability of wining the Europa trophy by the end of the season. Tottenham rightly anticipated to have the most chance though not been doing bad in the Europa but so far in their domestic league they aren't impressive enough so i feel to think they may get their psychology affected and may not be bale to get their best at the Europa except with an extra determination.

The point is, there are no players who deliberately play just to lose or are desperate or pessimistic, they are professional players with big paychecks and also their careers and good names are certainly a big responsibility to remain good. Thus, it makes no sense when you say players are not  motivated to win, because in every match there will always be a winning team and a losing team. I’m not saying this is what is happening in Manchester United neither am I giving an excuse for Ten Hag but there have been cases where players try to force a managerial change by deliberately underperforming and losing important games. They know the manager is the one who is going to get the horn. It happened to Jose Mourinho during his second spell at Chelsea. And it worked for them because Roman Abramovich sacked Mourinho later that season. It is difficult for a manager when the entire locker room is against you.

Who would want to pick Manchester United to win the Europa League if the performance is like now, even someone with $ 10 will probably think 3 times before making a bet.

Several top teams from La Liga such as Bilbao can still be taken into account, but their performance in the last two matches is a bit doubtful. But there are still a lot of games to be played by each team and they can all still change. Representatives from Serie A and the Premier League are certainly strong, but representatives from La Liga probably cannot be underestimated.

Correct me if i am wrong that UEFA has coefficient system for every participant teams from the current competitions and from this system they will be determined which team will being an the first favourite for every competitions just like Champion league or Europa league so from this factor this season UEFA has decide to putting Manchester United as the favourite this because their coefficient points is much better compared to other teams in this competition but this status won't make Manchester United automatically as the strongest team in Europa league even their performance were dissapointing because Manchester United only can collect 2 points from 2 matches

There are still 6 matches remaining and if want to qualified to round of 16 then Manchester United should be able at least to win 4 times from 6 matches and actually Manchester United upcoming opponents is not too strong so as long as they can improved their performance then there is still a chance for them to finish in the top 8 and about the odds indeed besides Manchester United i was surprised to see Tottenham can being an the first favourite for this season especially they have no good history on Europa league even i highly doubt Tottenham can able to reach to the final match because in my opinion they don't have champion mentality
