It will be by next season when he has understand the players potential, and how to use them with his own playing strategy is when people can expect good results. Manchester United should also think that they have to play well. The coach has done his job he has done his job honestly. Because everyone knows him as the best coach. I also think we shouldn't expect much in the first season. They will compete with a squad that they didn't build themselves in the first season. I don't think we can compare Manchester United today with when ten Hag first coached the team, when Ten Hag took over Manchester United, at that time Manchester United condition was still  good condition when ten hag took over the team, but for now of course you know that Manchester United is in very bad shape,  So we can't charge Amorim to win the championship in his first season coaching, Amorim has great potential and ability in coaching but I think he will still need time to restore Manchester United mentality and performance after being down during Ten Hag coaching so far, besides that every manager has a different style and approach so adapting to a new club certainly allows a process to happen and we can't equate one coach with another coach.

First of all, what should be done is for the new manager to arrange the team and prepare them to be able to play like a team, and then identity the players that he thinks shouldn't be in the club and also the ones he wants to come in, and above all, they should also guarantee the manager of no interference so he can proactively carry out his functions as the head coach, after all these have been put in place then they can start talking about laurels, for now I don't see that coming in for them because they do not have what it takes to win any trophy and should rather concentrate on building the team to be competitive.

When you would have said all these, and people would begin to see reasons with you, to expect more from Ruben Amorim, would have been if Manchester United were in good form already and Ruben Amorim was to be the new coach, in already formidable team. Not the one Ten Hag left it with.

It doesn't mean to underestimate Man United or think that Ruben Amorim will fail to manage MU. But all of that requires a long process and as a new coach, he definitely needs time to build a more stable performance from recruiting new players or improving the talents of old players.
Maybe the title in the European league at this time can only be pursued according to ability without forcing to put pressure on the players. However, the position in the EPL will be more important to be able to build player confidence and can provide a little evidence that everything will be better.

Ruben Amorim is indeed a young coach who is competent in the field of attack schemes, and of course will make Man United rise from its slump.
