Now we are in a new format, no more teams from UCL are going down to Europa League as it was in the previous format for the third placed teams in the group. UCL clubs finishing 1-8th in the League Phase standings automatically qualify for the round of 16, teams ranked 9-24 will compete for the remaining eight places to the round of 16 in two-legged knock-out playoffs, while teams finishing 25th or lower will be eliminated, with no access to the Europa League.
Starting this season we will no longer see teams from the UCL going down to the Europa League.

The champions league and the top 4 of the premier league will always be bigger than the Europa league. When big teams are in the competition, they go on to win. Chelsea has been in the competition twice and they won it. Manchester United would have allowed Chelsea play the competition and it would have been won not what they're doing disgracing the premier league over there but there's a good news as the new manager coming is looking like someone that knows what he's doing. He just beat Manchester city yesterday but he'll be coming to join a different squad of players and I hope he can work with them, the same way he was working with the sporting players to win.

If it was true, then, why did Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool always fail to win the Europa League last seasons? I don't think so, because every time big teams are in the Europa League, they have a hard time winning the title. I don't know if it's because they're not serious about winning or if there's something else, but what's clear is that in several seasons no big names (like the teams you mentioned) have been able to win the Europa League title, even though they're in this competition.

If you should look at their previous meetings which is a very good factor that we can use to predict this match though not accurately but to our best of knowledge, in their last 4 meetings of both teams, Malmo secure a win in 3 of the matches, besiktas manage to win 1,  today both team are locking it down in besiktas home, the odd is not really a criteria for me because malmo is not doing bad in their club side, they are occupying the first position in their league standings having played 29 matches so far, they won 18, lose 3 with 8 draws, they have gotten 62points but a difference of 8 points clear from the second position occupiers of the league table which is hammarby, though they lost their last UEFA Europa match to olympiacos piraeus in their home on a 0:1 victory against them, today game wouldnt be a work over for besiktas because Malmo Wouldn't want to be defeated easily and beside they got a history to defend here which may stand as a stumblimg block for besiktas to override them.
