Well a win over Manchester city for almost a decade is a huge win for any team in the world, Manchester city are currently doing very badly in all competitions, pep Guadiola haven't experienced this in his entire career as a coach. Amorim already beat pep Guadiola Manchester city already this seasom with sporting and doing it again was almost unbelievable but he did and kudos to the all Manchester united family but I think on the hand i think it too soon to praise Amorim work. He has played 5 premier league games, winning just 2 losing 2 and draw one, the problem is when you check the teams he has played against you will agree with me that he is suppose to have more wins than he did already.

Of course with the coming transfer window player will be added to the Manchester united squad and also players will possibly leave too. I will judge Amorim till the end of the season. Top 4 is going to be very hard for him this season but let see if he can get them into any European competition next season.

My guess is that they don't have an alternative goalkeeper. They are rare and the only thing Amorim can do about it in the middle of the season is to express his trust for Onana or otherwise he would further weaken him. He has made mistakes repeatedly, but I think he was more stable recently apart from the game against Plzen, but they still won the game though.

It comes down to whether Manchester United is able to sign a new top goalkeeper or not. I doubt it because they are very likely going to not play in the Europa League next season and I don't think any great goalkeeper would decide to go to Manchester United if they can't play any of the bigger tournaments.
