My ideas cannot be matched with that of the coach, but i suggest Amorim to prioritize one league he is into, you can't be performing badly with tight escapes from several important fixtures and expect a deserving outcome at the end. United can focus mainly in the Europa League, not mean they won't try their best in the Premier League but United are too big to go under relegation, at worst they would end this season from 12th position upwards if they still continue to lessen in form or fail to make progress.

But that is quite a long shot to assume that Manchester United could win the Europa League. Yes it would save them the season as they would still have a ticket to the Champions League, but is it realistic? I don't think so as their performance is far too erratic to draw any conclusions yet about how they potentially finish in the Europa League.

There are a couple of strong teams and I think Lazio and Athletic Bilbao both have a fair chance to win the competition among some others. Teams like Tottenham and Real Sociedad can't be underestimated either. Beating Spanish teams away from home is a tough one and Bilbao can be brutally strong at home.

At this point, I don't even have full confidence on Manchester United and their ability to get back to their best once again. They've been consistently inconsistent which is why I'm struggling to know what to believe about the future of the club especially in the UEFA Europa League this season. I watched them play against Liverpool today at Anfield and if I must confess, I think they put out a very good performance and showed strong mentality like a top team. If they can replicate same performance in their remaining games in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League competition, I think they'll definitely be challenging for the trophy this season

Never say never. But I think that Bilbao is the top favorite this season as the final will be played in Bilbao by the way. I think that helps building some additional motivation for them and if they make it into the final, beating them when they literally have a home game in Spain is going to be a hard nut to crack.

Amorim should focus on the premier league. His team isn't strong enough to multitask yet. I still believe he has a future with Manchester United in the near future hopefully in the next season but for this very one where he is yet to understand the team he should just build hard to find a good position in the premier league ahead of next season and hopefully qualify to get ticket for the CL.
