This is like the best start Solskjær could have had at his new job. The fans were cheering for him already. Beşiktaş beat an Athletic Bilbao which had 5 wins and a draw in the Europa League until this game. They have had difficult days until their chairman change and bringing a new manager. I'm excitedly waiting to see what they will do in all tournaments. Here in the Europa League, I believe they will finish in top 24 by getting a good result against Twente as well. For top 8, their chance isn't very high if their mathematical chance hasn't ended already.

I feel that these clubs have already qualify to the round of 16 and that's why they are not taking their matches serious. Bilbaon second position has nothing to lose despite losing today's match. It was a perfect game. For 90 minutes we were full of football. Beşiktaş, who played well in the first half, took the lead with Rashica, but Athletic Bilbao responded in the last minutes. What Bilbao showed in that match really disappointed everyone, it was a bad performance from them. I think they underestimated Besiktas, yes one defeat does not change their position in the standings much but losing by a big score shows that other teams can do things like that to them. On the other hand Besiktas are certainly happy with this result, Sokjaer arrival immediately had a positive impact, this could be a warning to other teams especially Twente who will meet next week, there is a possibility that Twente will be Besiktas next victim.

Lol! It's indeed miraculous to see a team that scored just one goal in six matches scoring three whole goals against Galatasary. Seriously, even u19  teams would have won against Kiev but Gala drew the game due to their unseriousness. It baffles me how they scored three goals and felt relaxed as if it was all over and allowed Kiev to get back into the game and equalised. I have always said it that Galatasary would really be in trouble in case they found themselve in a more competitive group with serious clubs. By the way, where was the goal keeper and the defenders? They really did not perform their duty effectively.

But I think this is as well just a question of time until a team that scored so few goals has a good day and scores three goals. If you watched the game Feyenoord against Manchester City when it was 3-0 for Manchester City, those are the games that write history exactly because Feyenoord scored three goals in less than 15 minutes and ties the game.

But frankly, Dynamo Kiyv is not a disastrous team. They have some quality going for them and while they had essentially zero efficiency in all those games before, it was finally the time for them to use their chances and hit the ball the right way. We are still talking about professional teams here and on top of that, Galatasaray could have felt too secure against an opponent that scored only once before and out of that made their own calculations that Kiyv will at best score once. But that calculation went wrong because football is not a game of calculations.

I kept saying that it makes no sense for Kiev to have zero points, because they are leading their league, and when you look at the quality of the squad, they are actually better than most teams at the bottom, but they faced some tough teams, and they had some unlucky games. The luck turned for them, and they scored a few easy goals to get a point here, normally they didn't play better, Galatasaray played better, but when it comes to just sitting back and parking the bus, Galatasaray is a terrible team.

We have seen even RFS end up catching up and getting a tie against Galatasaray before, all because Galatasaray can score, they are good at that, but then parking the bus and keeping the score isn't something they are good at doing, and this was just another one of those. Obviously there are player requirements, like midfields need to do better help at defense, instead of just letting defense take care of it, and it's clear that their goalkeeper has been bad for a while, but in any case, they should have gotten three points out of this game, the fact that they didn't is a shame for them. They looked like a proper top 8 team, now I am not really sure if that will happen or not.

The unexpected happened, Athletic Billabo who were favored and expected to be able to sweep all matches in the UEFA Europa League preliminary round actually lost badly to Besiktas with a score of 4-1. This was the first defeat for Athletic Billbao, in this match even though they got quite a lot of opportunities, Bilbao's attackers were unable to make the most of them.

On the other hand, under the guidance of their new coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and playing as hosts, they appeared quite confident. The game between the pair was an interesting and very competitive one, both teams were up to the challenge and put out a six goals master class, three goals scored in each half. Comparing the stats from the game both sides were really close, though Galatasaray created more chances but in terms of open play and possession Kiev had more of the ball than Galatasaray so it wasn’t like Galatasaray completely dominated the game, I think both teams played well to share points.

I think Galatasaray is not as bad as you said, about player purchases and player rotation. They just lost focus and concentration because after all, Galatasaray managed to lead 2-1 and then 3-1 before the match ended in a 3-3 draw. After all, Galatasaray is still in the top eight in the Europa League standings, and Galatasaray is still solid at the top of the Turkish Super League standings. Thus, Galatasaray is still fine and maybe you have deep disappointment regarding the draw against Dynamo Kyiv.
