It is more fun to follow this phase in the new format honestly. Yeah technically this isn't a revolution but in this view of standings, things look more exciting. Top 8 qualifies directly, 16-24th teams play an extra round and the rest say goodbye to the tournament...

The points are still very close to each other while we are closing in on the end of league phase.    Galatasaray and Beşiktaş played their games early. One of them got a solid result while the others make their fans disappointed.

Now the rest of the games all are going to be played today. I think I will watch the Fenerbahçe - Lyon game. I'm curious about what Mourinho will do in the Europa League. I think they can actually win this game if they play decently.

Yesterday, Besiktas delivered a very thumping blow to Atletico Bilbao and I'd be a liar if I say I saw that coming. Judging from their stats and standings, the Spanish club had more advantage and even were the favorites of bookies to win the game with an odd of 2.05 as against Besiktas 3.78.

Football can be really funny and full of surprises because the team you'd think are the weakest can be the one that will pack the biggest bite when you meet them and I'm sure Atletico Bilbao felt they could collect all the points so they can drop Lazio to second place while they move to first but  their performance wasn't on point.

You are absolutely right because winning the match would going to bring more confidence to them. Actually Rangers is not a team to be underestimated, because as is stance now Manchester united performance is not really impressive at all. However, I think they really need to win Rangers is this game, although sometimes they normally perform well in other leagues, more especially FA Cup and this Europe competitions. Not a very exciting watch to me but, with how Manchester United have under performed, it’s a good fix and fans would be watching to see what their star man Amad would come up with in this one. Hoffenheim Vs Hotspur is where I think the game is today.  They are both scoring sides and I would be expecting lots of goals and replies from both sides. Tottenham isn’t in its best shape with a couple of players off the field but, they could manage I hope.

I have nothing to be expected from Mourinho's side. I only predict he will come with the same pattern, his club always plays fully defensive strategy, and relying upon their counter attack. I always expect a boring game play to come from his club.

He never tries to develop a new strategy or at least try to vary his plan. I expect 5-4-1 to be used by Fenerbahce, and doing parking bus.   As long as they win, i'm OK.

They will use this game to break record to beat Ranger 3:0 in the first half because they will like to do what will make their fans happy and still have hope on them in other competition, which they need to win this game today. I notice some positive and negative things from Manchester united, whenever they are playing strong team, they will do everything possible to withstand them to draw the game with them 2:2 to share points but whenever they are playing with small team, their goalkeeper and defenders use to make some mistakes that will make them to lose the game for their opponent to secure victory.

United should be able to pull the win, Rangers are tough but at this point where Amorim plays home it should be something to hold on and try every possible measures to prove to the supporters a fair outcome for making out time, paying fees to come watch them play. I don't expect an easy win, BTTS is going to happen but overall Manchester United stands out as the favorite and i bet victory on their behalf.

I don't know why you predict on Fenerbahce not able to win, it will be safe to pick either Home or Away instead of Draw or Lyon, Fenerbahce may not be in best form but shouldn't be underestimated also, same with Tottenham not forgetting that this is not the most competitive league and teams like this should first be the favorite after dropping points in the Premier don't expect same for the Europa competition.
