Ajax are in great shape, they also beat Feyenoord yesterday and have a game in hand, so they can even get ahead of PSV and top the Eredivisie table. I think they can also beat Royal Union in the playoffs, a team like Ajax should continue to play in the Europa League, because I think they can be one of the contenders to win the tournament. In the 1/16 finals, a very difficult opponent also fell to Roma, and although Porto is currently experiencing a decline, Roma has not regained its optimal form.

Having Ajax playing in that play off alone felt like they weren't doing enough because in their current form they were really doing so well to have slacked this much, I was expecting they were going to scale through the group stage to the next stage of the competition without having to really struggle or play in the play off as they are going to but then they are actually  doing so well in their domestic league games.

I don't have any problem on Ajax going for playoffs, if they are as strong as you said let them show it in their playoff match and qualify to the round of 16. You must always pay for your weakness in football at some point. I know that Ajax is doing great in their domestic league but don't forget that this is UEL, where no club should be underestimated.

I was seeing possibility with this untill yesterday after their game against Crystal Palace in the Premier league,  I currently doubt a bit if they will be able to win the UEL, although they are doing better in the UEL but the Premier League performance could get some psychological effects on them that may affect their europa performance in the long run and that alone creates some fears in me actually. This season shouldn't be a good time to judge Amorim actually,  let's see in the coming season.

We can't compare between the performance in EPL and UEL. Now we see how MU performed when they were in every match in EPL which makes us say their performance was bad. But now we can see how Man United's final result was in the qualifying round with 5 wins and 3 draws without defeat. So whatever happens in EPL will not affect the mentality of MU players. Because Amorim has rotated players quite perfectly and plans to win the title in this UEL. And maybe Amorim's plan will prioritize UEL to be able to win the title and get a ticket to UCL. So if in EPL later can't get a ticket to UCL, at least in this European league Amorim is safe when he gets the title.

What can Amorim do to make this United team great ? In my opinion absolutely nothing. If United won't finally rebuild from scratch , then they have no chance to actually play the modern football Amorim is trying to implement. He is a great coach that teach modern football and modern tactics ...while most of the United players are barely average and this comes from an United fan .

Maybe during summer , Amorim will get green light to actually sell whoever he wants from this team and make 3-4-5 transfers with normal players who actually want to fight and they are hungry and passionate for high performance.

Amorim still do not understand the basic problem to focus on thereby helping his team. When he was given the role as the head coach, his first attempt was to patch his style of play using the players but right now i feel he is trying from the scratch to put things in order. I no longer expect a fantastic results from him during this season, the load seems much for him to carry in a short time, the fans can support in gradual process and believe that by next season there will be a prolific advantage on them, moreover they are still contending for the FA Cup and Europa, so they tend to still hope on taking at least a trophy back home.

For me I think Manchester United fans need to actually reduce their expectations on this club and allow the club to rebuild. The major problem Manchester United have is the hierarchy at the club. Manchester top officials are the decision makers and they have been poor and rebuilding needs to start from their. When Sir Ratcliffe came into the ownership he immediately identified this problem but he also made some mistakes which was actually hiring Darn Arshworth and not giving him full authority, this actually held the club back this season when they gave Ten Hag a new contract.

For now if the club can get their hierarchy situation sorted out then they can actually start the rebuild which will involve the reshuffling of many players, personally I believe that Manchester United need to wield the big stick like they did with Rashford.

This season is not to judge a coach like Amorim who has been willing to coach a team that is already slumping like Manchester United, but if you can be observant enough to see and make a comparison between the matches in the EPL and the matches in the UEL for a team like Manchester United. Of course you will find a team performance that is quite different when Bayindir is not placed in the starting eleven so that Manchester United often loses when Onana is placed in the starting eleven in certain matches and that happened again when Manchester United hosted Crystal Palace yesterday in the EPL match.

Before you make judgements based of that you should also known that the competition of the Europa League cannot be compared to that of the Premier League. Ajax will play against Union Saint-Gilloi in the play-off round to compete for place in the last 16 and I sure you also understand how Union Saint-Gilloi is team with unstable stability so that it is possible for Ajax to be able to gain an advantage from the two matches they will play in the next few times.
They can prepare their performance as best they can because there is still enough time, Ajax has always performed satisfactorily in the Eredivisie and in the future it is time for them to focus on the Europa League.

Ajax's performance in the Eredivisie is really great, because currently Ajax is in 2nd place in its domestic league. Then in the European league, Ajax has great potential to qualify for the round of 16. Because currently Ajax is in 12th position in the European league and only has a difference of 1 point with the team that is in 8th place. So if for example Ajax does not lose in its 7th match in the European league, it is certain that Ajax will automatically qualify for the round of 16 in the European league. Teams like Bilbao, Lazio look quite good, United isn't looking bad neither, since Amorim took over they have done quite well, so I am assuming that teams at the top do have a chance. The way it looks like right now is we are going to see plenty of teams face plenty of difficult tasks, but the matchups seem like we could see a smaller team win too.

Bilbao and Lazio will face many big teams, and maybe each other, so I am sure that a smaller team could have a chance. In many normal cases, it's really hard to predict because it is not going to be that easy for us at all, it is going to be pretty tough, and we need to be careful about this betting when we see big names. Like don't bet on Bilbao to win just because they finished well, check who they are playing against.
