You can't tell, United might be lucky in the round of 16 to meet a club that they can outplay. Luck do play its own role in football and that's why you see that a mediocre team will defeat a strong team. It's going to be a difficult match for both teams. I feel the stronger team will always win the match and it's left for us to see who is the strongest amongst both of them. Manchester United are making some new signings, they are improving the squad, I believe that when they return to play in the Europa League, they will be stronger, and look at this competition they did well, they went 8 games without defeat. So I think that with these new signings, they could manage to reach the final and maybe become champions.

Because, they do not have that much limit on their salary to get some other players before they are capable of selling some players. This means that they are going to sell or loan out some players first, which they are doing, and they could have gotten some players.

From what I can see, they are not really getting anyone neither, and the transfer window is closed as far as I know as well. This means that United is aware of their issues, and nobody really likes the way Amorim is getting losses all the time. Dude became the manager with fastest time to reach 5 lost home games, which is in 7 home games, that is a record I am pretty sure won't be broken for a long time, maybe not even ever, that's just too many losses.

However, as long as they try their best, and get rid of the dead weight, they could win Europa this season and that would be good enough for them to be happy about as well, I am sure that fans would be fine with an ending like that. It would allow them to play both premier league to get higher position, and also UCL next season.

I doubt AS Roma at this time, although for now both teams almost have the same chance, but it seems that for the first leg I support Porto who will win it. Talking about Roma in their last few matches, Claudio Ranieri's team tends to win at home. As for Porto, it seems that they are more prepared than AS Roma. I think Porto will dominate the game in the first leg, but maybe in the second meeting Roma can reply by playing at home. We'll just see how this match will be held, because we don't know much information about the two teams. By the way, I'm not sure AS Roma will advance like last season entering the semifinal phase of this competition.

Facing porto will clearly be a big challenge for roma, especially with their unstable and consistent this season in undergoing every match there is, the draw against napoli indeed shown the mentality and unyielding attitude which their have for rise towards the end of the match, but often conceding in the first half actually makes me doubt if they can withstand the aggressiveness of the attack owned by porto later, Moreover, from the head to head of the two teams so far, Porto is superior to Roma and this shows that Porto is often a difficult opponent for Roma in European competition, but apart from that maybe Ranieri experience and ability on coaching so far, can be a differentiator and maybe also increase their chances to win, although I personally tend to be more confident that Porto will win over Roma in the match   .

I personally expect AS Roma to win, although it will not be easy but based on the quality of the squad and coach, I think AS Roma is still better than Porto. If we consider Porto in their domestic league, I think Porto is also not entirely good although indeed, AS Roma is also not in a good position in the Serie A standings, but I believe Claudio Ranieri is able to give a good impact for AS Roma.

Most the manager sell their currently players and signing another players? But for me I don’t tho that will be the solution for that even if the manager sell some players and buy new players, if they didn’t team up and performance well together; it will be very hard to their performances coming normal.

Indeed, this match is very unfortunate, from so many opponents, why should the favorite Porto also have to meet the favorite AS Roma directly. Well, even though if they were against other clubs, both Porto and Roma would have a chance to advance to the next round.

but beyond all that, this will be a very tight competition for sure. This tight match will force their opponents to manage their best strategy, including their lineup. and maybe there will be some changes to the tactics they usually use.

Yes, the only hope for Man United to qualify for the UCL next season is to win the Europa League because in the EPL Man United will not get a place in the UCL zone because they are already quite far behind, but if Man United focuses too much on the UEL and ignores their performance in the EPL, it is also not very good because their current position is ranked 13th and it will be very bad for the Man United club if they end the season not in the top 10, especially if they cannot win the UEL title, it will feel even more in vain because winning the UEL title is also not easy.

Tottenham is similar to Manchester United actually. They suck in the Premier League, but they did a good job in the Europa League and it must be taken into account here that the Europa League is of massive importance for both teams as this is the only way to get a ticket into the Champions League for them. That would rescue the season for both teams. Think about the hypothetical scenario that Amorim wins the Europa League, but finishes 12th in the Premier League. Everything would be ok then.
