Fully supported and I believe he should keep him on the bench more atleast he would know that he needs to adjust his gameplay to suit the situation of the team, if am not mistaken the number of times Manchester united have fell short of supposed victory that would have gotten and then later drew or lost the is more of the fault of Onana and just countless errors in his goal post.

Onana is the worst Manchester United goalkeeper ever, that has conceeded a lot of goal in one season. He is not a serious goalkeeper who you can rely on till the end of the match to save the day. The performance of Manchester United this season has made it impossible for us to conclude on what can become of them, ordinarily Manchester United is suppose to win lyon in this match but we wouldn't know now since their performance is now in doubt,  recently we have seen lyon improvement in their performance just as you said but what I don't know is if they can be able to resist united here or allow previous records to have it's way.

Personally I think Manchester United has to wake up from slumber, they really need to come up with all they got to win this match, having a history or record against a team is not what actaully matters for me, the major thing is to keep up to that previous record, we have seen how inconsistent Manchester United has been and I don't see Lyon giving up easily for them to get what they want in their home, if it is the Manchester United we use to know, we wouldn't be having any doubt But as it is, lets not put much hope on them so that we wouldn't get disappointed if things don't go they way we expect.

Towards the end of the match, especially in extra time, when Manchester United were ahead, they should have tightened their defense so that they did not score a goal at the last minute, but that is what happened in the end. Cherki was able to score a goal for Lyon at the very end of the match, at the end of extra time, to bring the team back to parity. If Cherki had not scored this goal at this late stage, then this French league team might have had to leave the field with a defeat against Manchester United. Now in the second leg, the equation will be like this: if Manchester United wins, they will go to the next round and if Lyon wins, they will ensure the next round.

I think the biggest issue with Onana is that he’s become a meme. People only remember his mistakes, as if he was signed just for his footwork, but the reality is he’s a solid shot-stopper. Stats back that up — both this season and the last. You can see it visually too, he saves a lot. But the image sticks. I think the match between Lyon and Manchester United was very competitive.The first half of the match ended 1-1 and the last 5 minutes of the second half were exciting and the match ended 2-2.It was a match in which both teams had plenty of positions and fought until the last moment to win the match.Zirkzee managed to put his team ahead in the 88th minute, but Cherki scored in the last minutes and managed to draw the match.

To be very honest with you Onana is one of the reason why Manchester united have not be winning some matches because of his inability to save and I will still say this again Manchester united second goalkeeper is better than Onana whether you guys believe it or not that is true and the reason Rubin Amorim is using Onana is because of the club they bought Onana from. I don't know if I will say Amorim is being bias or sentimental for not always using Manchester united second goalkeeper and in the history of Manchester united goalkeeper Onana is still the worst to ever keep for Manchester united.
