You're right because this was same way Arsenal was underestimated in the Champions League simply because they were not active in the chase for the premier league title as expected of them but look how they displayed an awesome performance in the Champions League games, and everyone is now applauding them. I also believe that Manchester United is not doing well in their premier league games and we all know that but they deserve some respect for still being in the Europa League matches and even though Lyon has also been resilient in the Europa League games but since they were unable to perform better in their own home ground, they won't find it easy at Old Trafford either. Am just observing something in the three European competitions namely, the conference league, Europa League and the Champions League because it seems the England teams wants to break a record of winning all three European competitions this season because Chelsea have been performing well in the Conference League, Manchester United is also performing well in the Europa league, when we also check in the Champions League, Arsenal is representing England very well over there so am seeing some kind of connections in the European competitions.

I am really impressed with Manchester United’s performance in the first half, the two goals were very ok for them in their fight to the semifinal of the UEFA Europa League, they can now have confidence in the second half to add more goals because they are playing at home. I am expecting more goals from Manchester United in the second half even though it is possible for Lyon to also score goal in the second half, but United needs to be defensively strong to advance to the semifinal because if they concede early goal in the second half, anything can happen.

Tottenham on the other hand have scored one goal in the first half of the match, they now have one goal advantage and if they can maintain the goal or even score more goals they can advance to the semifinals even though the home team Frankfurt are dominating the game.

Both Spurs and Man Utd leading tonight and on aggregate in their respective ties. They’re both having really pathetic seasons domestically but they have a chance to win this competition and be in next seasons CL as a reward.
