The match against Lyon was very exciting and aggressive where both teams fought strongly against both teams. However, Man United won the match until the last moment. I’m happy for Manchester United for making it to the semi-final, but they really need to work harder if they want to reach the final and win the Europa Trophy. However, with this current mentality of playing, Manchester United might not reach the final. Even if they do, they might not be able to win the Europa Trophy.

I think this is a very dramatic match. How could it not be, both teams take turns getting hope and in the process 9 goals were scored. Man United started very well and it looked like they would be able to win easily, but unexpectedly, Lyon did not want to give up so easily and surprisingly they were able to turn the score around to 4-2. I thought Man United were already finished at this point, but it turns out they also made a surprise and managed to make a very dramatic comeback and closed the match with a score of 5-4.

It was really a tough match and it is Manchester united that cause this plenty drama because if they have maintained the 2 goals there's no way they would have entered extra time and they are lucky they didn't entered penalty kick they would have lost in that place, how will you be winning a club 2 zero in quarter finals and you allowed them to equalized withing 9 minutes I mean that is crazy and the funniest part was that they were winning Manchester united in that extra time 2:4 with red card. However, if Manchester united can survive or manage to win Athletic Bilbao then I can say they will be champions of Europa and the way the thing is going it is beginning to be obvious.

To tell the truth I look at the situation from this aspect:

- If Lyon can fight like this with 10 players against them then Manchester United are really screwed against a more serious opponent. 

This brings up the Athletic Bilbao topic... They are clearly much stronger than Lyon. I wonder if Amorim will make any change in his game plan in the semi finals. If he doesn't then I don't think they will reach final.

Can't imagine the motivation level Athletic Bilbao players will have to play the EL final at San Mamés...

Not sure if Bodo are favourites but their games vs Lazio are noticeable. At first they were unlucky in the first game (they realized very little of what they should have) and in the second game the events developed against them, but they were able to turn it around.
By the way, according to bookmakers, the odds for the title are as follows:

Tottenham - 2.65

Athletic - 3.05

Manchester United - 3.25

FC Bodo/Glimt - 13.00

I am sure that Tottenham are the favourites only because of the fact that in the semi-final they play with a clear underdog.

I'm sure none expected Bodo to beat Lazio, but they did it. The same thing may happen with Tottenham's game. Any parties are in favor Tottenham to win the game, but i take it differently by putting my believe in Bodo. They're just absolute class when fight at home. Hopefully, they can kick Tottenham's.
I'd be so good to see this norway team to win the europa league. The chance is small, but still possible. Although Bodo is being underdog, they still have guts to fight big clubs in europa league.

A team with many players from 11 debut players to substitutions have to play together as an united team, and they win or lose together. Players are human and all plalyers can make mistake but if a team are strong, they have better chance of winning a match, or winning a battle and taking a trophy.

Garnacho is one player in the team and it's not like the end of Manchester United if Garnacho wasted a golden opportunity. He is responsible for what he missed, but as a team they won quarter finals and Garnacho can score winning goal in semi finals for them. He must sharpen his finishing skills but if Manchester United want to win UEFA Europa League, they can not depend on him.

It's good to use their amazing comeback against Lyon as an example, they scored goals by different players. In modern football, over dependence on a star player is never good and Garnacho is far from that star player position.

We have to admit that Garnacho's performance was not very good in the match even though he provided the assist for Manchester United's first goal. There are not many players available in that position so Garnaco started and I have said before about the victory that Manchester United will get even though they will face a tough challenge in the match.

Manchester United are only two steps away from winning the Europa League and they are still one of the unbeaten teams. Amorim will have to work hard if they want to get the trophy because this is their best chance to qualify for the Champions League next season.

I thought of the same thing about the way they could have stopped Lyon from scoring and letting 2 goals get past them, if it was a much stronger and defensive side against 10 men Lyon it would have been game over because they would stress the Lyon side since they are tired and more goals will be going in and Lyon defenders are not that good to say they'll hold that 2 goal lead. The Athletic Bilbao you mentioned have when it gets to their head and they'll play everything in a game and still end up drawing the game just like how it happened in the first leg between them and Rangers, 1 man down no goal from Athletic Bilbao so against Man UTD I can't start putting them above them (UTD), they might play a draw but if the Spanish side gets a goal in the first encounter them you have to expect more goals from them.

The Manchester United - Lyon game was just a masterpiece... I don't remember a more enjoyable game than this in the recent times. 

That huge comeback by the Red Devils was incredible. But still we shouldn't forget the fact that they conceded 2 more goals from a team playing one man down. I still think the same about the semi finals. Athletic Bilbao would eliminate them.

Yesterday's game was really surprising to me. I still cannot fathom how Manchester United was able to stage such a dramatic comeback to steal a late minute victory. This is a team that usually struggles to score a goal in 90 minutes but when they went down by 2 goals, they scored 3 goals in 5 minutes, which is quite unbelievable. I'm really happy the made it to the semis. Bilbao will no doubt be a tougher opponent but I'm still rooting for United.

- Manchester United came back amazingly there. Great job! But the question is "Will they manage to step up their game against Athletic Bilbao too?". I'm still favouring the Spanish side for the finale. 

- Bodø/Glimt made history last night... Tottenham and Lazio aren't very different in the EL lately. This is why I think it isn't impossible for Bodø/Glimt to eliminate them also. I'd love to see it too after watching their dedicated effort.
