I wanted to confirm communication from RarityCheck.  I have 3 silver coins (46,47 and 70).  Thanks to this forum, I was able to redeem coins 46 and 47 and found out that coin 70 was not loaded (confirmed from RC there was some confusion on my order).  That being said, I am taking RC's offer to have my coins updated with new keys and will provide the funding that I recovered for coins 46 and 47.  Coin 70 RC will fund per my original order.

So far, I am very pleased with the correspondence and commitment.  I was  honest about recovering the BTC from 46 and 47 before they were swept, and am pleased with the commitments so far.

Thank you for communicating with the board, it is appreciated.

RC,

You addressed this promptly with communication in these threads. Payment was received.  I appreciate the ownership y’all are taking with this breach. to me, it says a lot about your character and customer service. I have no bad feelings on this. mistakes happen,  I understand you have learned from them and look forward to what you do in the future.

Always a pleasure.

I'm wondering why <whoever had access to the private keys> waited this long to sweep the remaining wallets.

maybe they stumbled across them - I do not remember what made the keys originally compromised - negligence? using a shit program? rarity keeping a copy of the keys? I do remember one slip up where they posted about keeping a copy of the keys and quickly backpeddeled/retracted that statement.

I believe they used a janky key generation website that was known to be compromised.

RarityCheck—This morning, I received a notification that 0.001 BTC was sent from one of my wallet addresses, even though the coin is still slabbed in its original ICG holder and physically secure in my possession. I have not tampered with or peeled the hologram. This was purchased from the Stack's Bowers auction last year.

Details: 2022 Rarity Check "VIBGYOR", Variety: Orange, Denomination: 0.001 BTC, Serial No.: 9, Grade: MS-70 (ICG Slabbed)

Wallet Address: 1...9EsWB1

What are my options to recover the BTC at this point?
