 I believe that you've been given satisfactory answers to your question but just to add, if a post is being deleted it's not because the moderator is being malicious, but probably it's not meeting the requirements of that board or it's too off topic to be accepted so instead of reposting which would seem like a spamming situation, it's best to let it go.
