 -  How to avoid scams
 -  Why we need crypto
 -  How to make profits with low risk investment strategies

And my question is what are the ways we can lead the people in the right way to do all these things ofcourse bitcointalk can be the best place apart from that what we can do from our side to meet all these things to make better crypto community in India.

Bitcoin never advertised itself on different platforms or in mainstream media. Its biggest endorsement to date has been "word of mouth." If you come across anyone interested in cryptocurrency or invested in it, you can ask them the following questions and provide further assistance if they give you incorrect answers.

The forum here is a good source of information. I got my first steps by reading the megathreads on this forum.

We can obviously guide newbies into selecting proper wallets and taking safe measures to prevent hacking and scamming.

I am not so sure about investment because that is more of a personal endeavor and we are not financial advisors.

Indeed word of mouth worked for crypto but in unique way which is through the internet, and we almost can claim Bitcoin is as internet money too. Well the adoption rate is increasing so the word of mouth may not be the fastest way to reach more people, we had to do something as well to secure them from being prey to scammers and hackers because Indians especially have mentality of once scammed due to their own mistake will shift the blame towards the Bitcoin.

Since you talked about scams and scammers it is worth mentioning that Indians lead in scamming in the financial ecosystem. Whether it is traditional finance or crypto scams we are the leaders in scamming. I cannot provide you the data here but if you do a simple Google search or YouTube search using the keyword Indian scammers busted, you would be surprised to find most call centers operating in India are meant to scam people outside India. Furthermore, there is a series dedicated to scams within India on Netflix by the Jamtara.

Honestly speaking, we don't have to lead anybody because people will find their way one way or the another.
Indians are smart and they will find their way to get the required knowledge. This forum already has plenty of knowledge.
All we can do is guide those people who approach us and seek for our advice for their issues with crypto.

you would be surprised to find most call centers operating in India are meant to scam people outside India. Furthermore, there is a series dedicated to scams within India on Netflix by the Jamtara.

Yeah I have seen them, and also I read about that particular district which is famous for the scam operating centers a couple years back. And if I am not wrong these are the people who ran fake IPL and involved in sports betting scams.

Of course Indians are smart but we also have certain mentality of following everything because someone famous told us to do without questioning and now social media is becoming huge those influencers has chance to lead these people in very wrong way because we don't yet have strict laws regarding cyber crimes.

The problem is our people are not getting past beyond instagram and youtube, which is why we have no activity from our Indian community on bitcointalk.

Yeah, that particular state in India is known for scams but these call centers are not assigned to that state. They are mostly situated in our national capital and economic capital of India. Anyway, I am now deviating from the topic which is not good for this thread.

the activity here on bitcointalk in my opinion is simply because our Indian people follow fashions and like all international fashions they follow the most popular ones with YouTube other channels for in-depth analysis of topics, however it is not certain that one day there will not be a repopulation of the Indian section
