Hello! I'm not sure if it is proper category for this topic. I've noticed that many strategies for algotrading use complicated indicators like candle patterns, MACD, RSI, and daily volumes all together. I have an algorithm that allows me to track price, open interest (OI), and volume changes over periods ranging from 1 to 25 minutes on several exchanges. The data is received in real time, so I can act quickly. The algo also lets me set take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL), and it supports flexible averaging grids. I can filter assets by market capitalization.
Currently, I’m testing a strategy that opens long positions after a 4% dump within 10 minutes without using the cap-filter, and the take profit is set to 1.5%. Over the past two weeks, it’s been showing promising results. I’d like to know: are there any traders here who also use real-time Open Interest and volume data for such scalping strategies?
