Help Needed: Bank Transfer to Hospital in Russia – Willing to Pay in Crypto

I need some advice on how to transfer money from Bulgaria to a hospital in Russia. The initial amount is only 1,500 RUB, but I'll soon need to transfer a larger amount (around 500,000–700,000 RUB) for medical treatments.

Traditional bank transfers from Bulgaria are not allowed due to restrictions, so I'm looking for alternative methods. I'm willing to pay with crypto if there's a way to transfer it into the hospital's bank account in Russia. Has anyone managed to make a similar transfer recently? Are there any services or platforms that could help facilitate this type of payment, either by converting from crypto or directly handling the transfer?

You do not need to be worry of anything if it is medical treatment. If you have the money in fiat, contact the hospital and ask them what you should do.

If the hospital supports crypto payment, they will let you know. Also for foreigners that will pay in fiat, they will let you know what you can do. If possible you will need to visit your bank, visit your bank.

There should not be restrictions that will get to the point that people will it be able to get medical treatment abroad in Russia. I think Russia can not get up to that because of dedollarization.

You do not need to be worry if anything if it is medical treatment.

In abroad when you do not have the local currency then your only way is to use USD. The OP is in Russia if I understand him. It's not easy for him to transfer cash from one country to another when the country has been sanctioned by the US authority.

Unfortunately the hosiptal gave me the only the bank details and said that I should find a way to send them the transfer or to ask friend etc. I am located in Bulgaria and iwll travel to Russia for treatment.
So I need that service still

I am not sure about the board but I think this is the board you need to create a topic like this. Since it is a local board, use Google translator and post the topic in Russian. Seek help from the local community. If you find someone who is willing to do the trade then use someone reputable who will act as escrow between you and the other person. You will send the coins to the escrow, the other person will do the bank transfer and provide necessary information, then the escrow will release the coins to the person who is helping you.

I have the payment instructions its visible its the cancer hospital in Saint Petersburg. They need the first payment of 1500 rub to review the documents and then we need to pay for visas, treatment, hotels etc. While I am here in Bulgaria I ened th ehelp to make the first payments to them.

Please tell me who are you transferring this money for? I just know cases when people were scamed by this way, insinuated into trust and asked to pay for some medicines, etc
. As a result, it turns out to be just a fraudulent scheme to suck money out of gullible citizens.

Do you own a Bulgarian bank account or can you find a way to exchange BGN (Bulgarian Lev) with RUB? If you can, then you can take cash on your first travel and pay the initial cost of your father's treatment. For the rest, you take more on your first trip or make more trips. As I recall, it's legal to have up to 10k€ cash on your flight. If you go there by flight...
Another alternative is to use the Western Union or Moneygram payment system but I don't know their limitation. I think it's around 1k per transfer, need to check it out though.

Thanks for the answers, but the only optino they provide is to send them to this bank account initially to review the documents. I cannot pay them when I am there because I will need to apply for visa and also pay for it remotely.

You might have to use the Russian local board already suggested. Russia have the most active community here and should be among the largest user of the forum. What I would add is that you might want to use escrow service because your account is not known here and that will discourage people from dealing with you. There are many reputable members here that can offer that escrow services, you send the crypto to the escrow and the person send the funds to the hospital and business is sealed. Here is a link of such escrow services.
