Hey all,

Been running three Compac F miners for over a year 24/7 using the GekkoScience SUB hub. The other day they suddenly stopped working.

Not sure if this is a hardware issue or software issue, but I'm leaning towards HW due to these red lights on the hub.

I've tried restarting the machines & software, but no success.

Any ideas what could be going on here? I'm hoping the hub isn't fried as it's only a year old.

Thanks

Try each Compac F on a different hub first to rule them out of the fault list.

Connect them one at a time to your host PC and use a lower clock setting when connecting direct to a PC just to verify their functionality. Once you've confirmed your host PC can get them to hash, then you'll know they're OK.

With the hub, if you have other USB peripherals see if they can connect to it and work reliably, use a peripheral that draws power from the hub to be sure that its passing power OK. Something like a USB HDD would be a good test.

My best guess is something has failed on the hub, but it'll be a process of elmination.

Good luck.
