Internet connection and war question

If there is war in Europe between russia and nato for example so will be the internet connection disturbed?
Or i can use Elon musk internet maybe ? Becouse internet connection is most important i want to watch Youtube and trade crypto off course Even when missiles fly over the sky since war is fools game i don't take any part of this neither Im in war zone or russian missiles hit list target location so while all the missiles fly i want to have my normal life still use internet.
Im sure people want and need internet connection in every situation the internet is like fresh air and food without internet i cant live really Im sure many people can't does anyone know alternative ways to connect If some cable internet down or internet data servers bombed or phone towers also bombed i hope russia don't use nuclear weopons just soft regular missiles wich will only destroy the targets the nuclear radiation sucks If not nuclear and i have internet then all good.

In theory, if you have starlink or other mobile internet connection service with you, you should be able to connect to the internet even if there is a major war going in Europe. Though, you must keep in mind that internet satellites won't allow you to connect to webpages which cannot be longer accessible since their servers got destroyed by the war itself. For example, let us assume you have internet access thanks to starlink and you wished to visit the official website of the Kremlin or the official website of the government of Ukraine, if a bomb was dropped on the location in which those servers worked, then the page won't load at all.
Also, there are many companies and businesses which prefer to operate using long distance servers, so the location of a server does not necessarily have something to do with the nationality of the company or government itself.

It is very situational and it would depend on what services you are planning to access to.

Also, there are many companies and businesses which prefer to operate using long distance servers, so the location of a server does not necessarily have something to do with the nationality of the company or government itself.

The deal breaker. Some companies prefer to host their server in remote countries of peace without much policies. Having your serve different location from where you dominate is a good idea of course. Decentralized serve.

Op, your curiosity is valid. In my country, when the youths plan a nation wide protest against the government, the government will make the network providers cease good network thereby throwing rhe whole country into web darkness.

Nobody can predict the outcome of a large scale war in Europe. Starlink might be the main option but these warring nations can decide to attack this service provider. A company that gives internet service to an enemy is also an enemy. Wars these days are not fought with just guns and bombs but with viruses and malware that can crumble an entire system.

However, I think that most of the developed nations already have secret internet service alternatives that will be used in such cases. They are kept secret to avoid attack by the opposition.

We don't expect this war to escalate because if it does,  internet service will become a secondary need. People will be more interested in survival than watching YouTube or trading crypto.

In the event of war between Russia and NATO, places directly affected by the way may experience difficulty in accessing internet connection. However with the invention of Starlink you can access internet in the remotest of areas. So in that case though places affected by the war may experience difficulty in accessing the internet, other places will not face similar situation. And even in places affected by the war still have the option of using services such as Starlink to access internet connection.

I would expect that you could always access Starlink. Musk recently said he would provide internet access for free in the Gaza Strip which was/is a war zone. If there was ever a nuclear war worldwide though I don’t know if any of us could get online but in that scenario, I suppose using the internet would not be a priority, survival would be all that would matter.

You forgot about internet cables. And you don't even need war to get dsruptions. Recently 2 internet cables in Baltic sea between Germany and Finland and Sweden and Lithuania were disrupted by most likely Chinese ship:

That's just 2 cables and it's already an issue. Imagine if more such cables would become targets of attacks. And it's not most difficult targets after all.
Starlink is cool thing, but I doubt it can replace internet cables as so much data is transmitted through it. For regular people who are in war zone it may be only accessible option, but it's not that cheap thing.

If you have an internet connection other than mobile network, then you can use it, basically if there is a war between two countries, i.e. Russia and Ukraine, no one will ever worry about each other's health. Everyone will immediately want to put pressure on each other, so they harass different people using the internet connection, it's like a kind of war because if the internet connection is stopped, every person will be deprived of internet connection.
For example, in my country, I was without internet connection for 11 to 12 days, in this total system could not be started, the government of our country had stopped the system. In this modern era, life without internet connection is completely useless, so you can take any good step according to the convenience of your country according to the alternative system in terms of using internet connection.
