The fact is it's actually those that don't trade crypto that will easily be baffled or excited about giveaways on Centralised exchanges especially and that's because sometimes they are not worth it. You will find out that for most of those prizes and bonuses you would have to hit a trading volume of up to $1,000 to qualify and most retail crypto traders on average hardly hit that amount on a normal basis and sometimes the time given before the rewards expire is usually short.

Most times people that hit those bonuses are usually big traders and most of the time they hit it unknowningly to them because of their relatively larger trading volume. Still if you try trading because of bonuses 9 out of 10 times you will end up losing your capital

These contests are usually scams and rarely profitable so trading heavily or trying to reach the minimum to enter the contest is a waste of time.

The fact that it’s still a contest with no guaranteed win makes it hard to trust an exchange that hasn’t proven its reputation in the crypto world. I’d rather stick with a more established and reputable exchange - one that’s been around long enough to earn the trust of the community. I’m sure everyone here already knows the popular ones.

I haven't receive anything more than $2 from bitget since I register with them, and the funny thing is that it was a deposit and earn campaign for only newcomers, whereby as a newcomer once you make a p2p deposit of more than $10 you will qualify to earn up to $2 dollar, since then, I haven't received anything from them upon all that I have been using their exchange to do, like trading and some other transaction I use my bitget account for.
Then as for the list of things the op is saying here, though I might be wrong, but I think he exaggerating it, mostly Porsche 911 that was mentioned, that's what I really doubt.
 So the op of this thread should come with more better proof to backup it claims, I actually don't think he is saying it as it is, he is just exaggerating it, by making it better than it is.

I only got a bit of ZETA (not shilling it  ) on some exchange some monthes ago - and that would it. Promos are there to give you 5$-15$ for some activity or trading a bit, and that would be it. And you would have a reminder of the coin / project exisiting on your account.
Everything bigger than that should be analysed thoroughly. Especially the Porsche part.

This is why i never trust any event from any exchange, they just want to get as many users to trade on their exchange, the more users the more profit the exchange gets, and it's not worth the certain event rewards they give to users.

This is Christmas and a celebration season, you better stay extremely careful on investing and trading opportunities especially the act of chasing free bonuses or material things online. Especially one that's connected with your crypto wallet.
A warmly advice States that it's better you secure your funds at a zero profit than loosing it all at the course of attractive ads such as the exchanges.
Besides it's ridiculous of any trader to just key in to trade just because there're lot of bonus and gifting opportunities in the main time instead of you trading base on your market tracks.

You are very correct about this because trading is very risky. It is very risky just like gambling is very risky. Especially the newbies should not let something like this to encourage themselves to trade because they will lose far more money and they may also not be given the bonus. What that is mostly discouraging is the the volume of trade required can be very high in a way that the money you used to trade is far more than the bonus and in a way you do not need the bonus at all. But there are some task like trading like $100 in P2P. But  generally the reward can be very low. I mean the exchange can say they will give worth of $1000 and be given only $0.5 instead.

Is it really a good opportunity for traders? Because those promotion they made is I think the only one who will benefit is those people who try to be more competitive to reach those requirements to be eligible on their contest or giveaways held.

Only several people is joining on what programs they are running. Although some may say that at least they participate, but I'm not really expecting to get a reward on the promotions done by exchange or casino since its like its hard to win that if you are just a casual traders.  Anyways will just say good luck to competitive individual who will participate and will try their chance to get those rewards.

You said it yourself that it’s a “trading volume”, i’m very sure you didn’t meet the requirements for the giveaway or  probably you just made all this up just to sound cool. Personally, i’ve earned a lot of trading rewards this year and i know a lot people who have also benefited.

Personally, I’ve won multiple giveaways from Bitget before, you can imagine how shocked i was when he said these giveaways are true. It’s very certain that his trading volume didn’t meet the requirements.

I have been lucky enough to win a couple of bonuses from Bitget and i’d say it has been worth it. Most people are not aware of the requirements to be eligible. You can try your luck, you never know when you will win.

Thank you so much for the advice but i’ve won quite a number of giveaways from it. I also avoid connecting my crypto wallet to unverified accounts. Bitget is known to be a reputable exchange ever since so my wallet is safe with it.

In the case of Bit get, the platform has good liquidity and a good number of users, so I don't think there is any problem with using it (other than their annoying way of promoting/spamming here), but there is no reason for you to risk investments of more than $10,000 and trade on a platform to win an iPhone or a trip.

these promos are mostly like a bait, also, usually the winner are whales anyway with their massive trading volume, average joe definitely stand zero chance why even bother joining in the first place?

Christmas or not, these kinds of giveaways always make me skeptical beside many people like me. The prizes sound flashy but how often do regular traders actually win such things or if they even do, what’s the price of it? Huge rewards like a Porsche 911 or ski trips often seem geared toward whales with massive trading volumes leaving smaller participants with slim chances to 0 chance.

Sometimes, I wonder if these grand prizes even exist or are just bad fake marketing to boost activity of these exchanges, add to that they are spamming us even more since it’s the end of year. Actually, these platforms claim to prioritize the community, but the  truth is that their focus always seems more on increasing their own profits to bring new clients. Personally, I wouldn't count on winning but instead, I would approach these promotions with much cautious to not fall into a bonus where I have to meet some weird or impossible conditions in order to win back my initial balance.

are you another bitget shill? because I have seen a few threads like this that shill the bitget platform, but this kind of approach seems cheap and spammy, and that's not normal at all. I don't understand how you guys come to this forum and start spamming things about bitget and how it is the best exchange, but wouldn't it be much better to start an official account on this forum and create a thread dedicated to the exchange. I doubt that if more accounts spam about bitget on this forum it will damage the reputation of the exchange because it is quite annoying to see.
