I’ve noticed that memecoins are taking a different approach lately, especially with this AI agent trend—particularly on Solana and Base. They seem to have a smaller supply, making it easier to hit $1, and many now come with actual utilities.

To put it more clearly, it seems like memecoins are transitioning into utility-based projects through their setup. They’ve already done everything perfectly, like riding the hype and market trends which is enough to grab investors' attention. Now, they just need to prove that their utility is sustainable. If not, sounds like just another scam memecoin trying to profit from other people's intellectual property or idea or image or character or reputation or whatever else memes choose to try to cash in on.

They are not meme coins already if they have different utility rather than a meme. These projects are just using the hype of the meme coins category even though it’s known for being useless because they knew that there’s a lot of meme coins investment investors that can be easily attracted to ape on their project by showcasing something knew utility as meme coins.

In reality, they are just a regular crypto projects sugar coating as meme coin. Remove their categpry as meme coin and I’m sure their little utility will be overlooked.

They are not transitioning rather just a simple project category that wants to be classified as meme coins.

From the reference the OP made, i think it's the actual one. It’s interesting that blockchain technology keeps evolving, from my findings i must commend the project for having its own stable coin and getting listed on exchanges. I am certain of Binance and Bitget; since i use both. Also, for having an ecosystem with high scalability; it allows thousands of transactions to go through within seconds. With its utilities i would rather not call it a meme coin because it looks really promising.

I was not a fan of meme coins to start with, they bring no value in the long run and could ruin the concept about blockchain and crypto for new users. But I had to join them for fear of missing out. And I do accept they had brought me more profit than any coins had. Meme coins if invested wisely are going to make you rich.
On the opinion of meme coins turning into a utility project, I'm not sure. It sounds like a good idea to built up something when you already are popular but for many, it didn't worked. I think Shiba Inu too tried something like that turning it to some Defi or something but it mostly failed.

There are several Hive's I see on coingecko but I don't see the Hive that Op is talking about. But anyway, if this is one of the meme coins, I believe that we can really get a profit in this category, but let's not forget that the level that the meme coin has is very high.

So if you have these coins and you know that you have a profit, it's better to take profit now than to regret it later. Because this is what always happens when it's new and suddenly trends in the market, usually at the beginning it always performs well in the market then in the long run it becomes and eases the price market movement.

Yeah, you are right. Turning something into an utility project doesn't mean it will automatically do well, it means there is a utility to it but that's it, if nobody utilizes the utility then there is nothing to do there, and we should avoid it as much as we can.

The best way to move forward would be making sure that we are dealing with better approach, and for that reason I believe that we need to look at this in a different light, if the utility is something everyone would love to use or love using already, then yeah it will grow and be better but if nobody cares then we are not going to see the price of that project going up at all. Simply having utility is not the key to getting a bigger price at all.

They will do everything good to entice you but after you consent they will end up to drag your capital to the well, I still continue to tell people that if they are investing into any of those meme coins, don't hold for a long term because you could get disappointed because of your too much expectations on the project. Some altcoins are just better off to buy hold for a short term and take profit if you are smart enough. Secondly, you should only invest the amount that you are willing to lose and before you decide to hold a meme coin for a long term, just make up your mind that you will accept what ever result you get, that's my opinion.

Memecoin always remains as memecoin and you can't change anything from it because the purpose and hype can never change and we should learn never to lean on these coin. Note that memecoin comes with hype and when that phase is off you see them dumping. Though for while now never took my time to follow up any memecoin project to know how the system is entirely drifting from what it used to be to another higher dimensions as you may have mentioned.

but regardless, these coin just following current narrative, NVIDIA keep talking about AI agent so of course eventually some people gonna create their AI agent on-chain and these coin happen to take advantage of that at the right time and scored big FDV.

they are sustainable if they have use case, but some of them might got inflated in term of FDV too much I think at some point their FDV will have big correction, personally I found no use to these AI agent, but maybe some people might be different.
it's I think as sustainable as meme where value can be retained even with zero utility whatsoever.

While I do agree that utility itself doesn't give it any profit at all, you are not going to profit from it just because you did something like that, but this doesn't mean that you are going to make a profit that easily, utility that is used is great, but even utility that isn't used is good compared to no utility.

So that is what you should be looking at, are you making a good project or not, and that means, no utility is worse than bad utility and that's worse than good utility. If you can do that then you are going to benefit from this if you check it. So I try to avoid anything with no utility, even when there is a hype then we are going to end up with a bad return, but even a bad utility that is not used, is better so I take a look at it just in case.

We know that most meme coins started out as something that was just for fun, then suddenly boomed unexpectedly, accumulating a large community and huge marketcap in the crypto space industry field. And we also know that there are meme coins that have no use case but are still included in the top listings in the crypto market.

So, I can agree with what was said here that when a meme coin has utilities that means it can no longer be considered a meme coin, in which is for me that is true. That's why meme coins are called that because it seems like it was just for fun but ended up being serious in the end.

This is what you don't seems to get. Meme coins at something created for fun, the intention is for joke and humor or whatever suit the creator intentions, it was never created with anything in mind but money and leave but because people think meme coins are refurbished projects that are repeated on Radium liquidity, making it looks like it's AI will make it look serious but then, if you have good intentions about the project, why not just create something special and removes the idea of meme so that people will take the project serious and not related to jokes.

Irrespective of the branding, Twitter marketing or YouTube, don't fall for all this strategies. The team will rug the project and moves away and I assure you thy there is no legal action that will be taken against them because it's meme. This AI is for the team to gain your confidence, that's all. As long as yiu were never part of the team, just forget about this rebranding. You are just asking like because Lion is been friendly and likes human, it means they have change from been a carnivorous animals, a lion will always be a lion.
