It looks like this year belongs to airdrop hunters. Since the beginning of the year, despite the unpredictable price trends, those participating in testnets and airdrops have been doing well. Now, yet another airdropped project, STORY Protocol, is about to go live.

Well if you did get that airdrop then you are making alot of profit right now. Bitcoin price is going down but this token now is up more then 175 percent in only last 7 days.
But this can happen with the airdrops. They will make alot of profit and you will get some big gains. And then the 'rug pull' can happen I don't know if for this project. But it can not make such big gains for ever like this.

It looks like this year belongs to airdrop hunters. Since the beginning of the year, despite the unpredictable price trends, those participating in testnets and airdrops have been doing well. Now, yet another airdropped project, STORY Protocol, is about to go live.

It goes with the number; if you participated in hundreds of airdrops, you will be lucky to have at least 3 highly potential airdrops, but its a lot of hard work and allocating a lot of time. I still maintain that airdrops are becoming useless for many participants, with so many airdrops becoming rugpull and participants getting dust when they received their shares.
I guess airdrops are here to stay; it has become a full-time job and hobby of many people. If you're working for  airdrops, you need a lot of patience and hard work because good airdrops are hard to find.

I noticed that testnet airdrops are more profitable than tap to earn airdrops because there are few participants and you have to have a little technical knowledge to participate, compared to tap to earn, where all you have to do is tap your cellphone daily, which makes the task tiresome and become boring.
But you need to have patience because it may take months before they launch their TGE, and be sure to follow the project. I have a friend who is involved in this kind of airdrop and failed to claim his share because he forgot that project.

Story (IP) isn't a random project like meme tokens, so it's impossible to imagine them doing a rugpull on the project they have been trying to build for the past few years. Also, some big names are behind them like Polychain & a16zcrypto. What we should be concerned about is not $IP, but $PI. Even though their token prices have risen over the past few days, it's not impossible that there will be a sharp decline in the next few months or years.

exactly, when story's founder is already have his identity known to public and there's also reputable investors backing it, hard to imagine the scenario where the project just gonna rugpull, basically doing rugpull in that situation is the dumbest decision ever.

moreover it's a layer 1 blockchain, money already spent for building, if the developers really intending to rugpull they'd made some kind of staking program and put some backdoor in the contract which they didn't.
regardless though, i'm not eligible for the airdrop so there's that

This isn't about being doxxed or not, it's just that I can't imagine a project built with as much dedication as Story (IP) doing such silliness. Currently the price of $IP is falling, which is natural because currently the market is experiencing a mass decline because the price of Bitcoin (BTC) is falling. Slowly but surely, projects that have fundamentals & are suitable in the market will survive & show their true value.

The past few weeks have proven that they're not rug,. When BTC tanked they didn't fold. IP was strong. I even got into this opportunity here

This year is for airdrop and testnets, I get it. Those category of people that indulges in airdrops are smiling by now because they've gotten much more than their profits and capitals invested in minting most of these airdrops and testnets. There's some kind of advancement when it comes to this airdrops, it's no longer the formal free ones, like at the end of the day, it doesn't worth a fortune and no longer luck. The testnets are more complex projects carried out by a sophisticated roadmap, these teams behind the project do ensure they're sealing their tracks and also getting more better projects with the trends.

Congratulations extending to the very part of people that have become dependable on airdrops, they're milking every bit of the airdrop sectors because they've been driven by source full keys and airdrops accumulation. Did you just said doing well, airdrops? I am yet to see any impressive performance from all the available airdrops or testnets, this has not been anything way forward to encourage others to go for them, if any of them had been well performing, then maybe we would have heard about it, but hearing nothing trending from them signifies nothing to write about for now, not even about any airdrop except for pi network which I think made it to launch date and people got rewarded.
