  I just witnessed yet another cat-themed Memecoin getting listed. I'm talking about $MAXWELLCAT. This token got listed on a top exchange and they went as far as hosting a listing carnival for it so, it tells me that it is somewhat a big deal or maybe the community was loud enough to draw the attention of the said exchange.

We all know that cat-based memecoins like every other meme-based cryptocurrencies often capitalize on  internet culture and the popularity of cats alongside humour to thrive.

My question is, are we in the cat-memecoin era as there seems to be a pause on the launch of Dog-memecoin so does that mean the Cat lovers are taking over?

Next question is how many cat-memecoin have you invested in and what was the outcome?

You are right but also there are some coins that are listed on some big exchanges that their prices are easily manipulated also. You will see them grow 5x in few minutes and fall 3 to 4x or more in some minutes after.

I have seen coins on the big exchanges that fall 10x or more not more than 2 to 3 weeks after they are listed.

i thought that the animal themed memecoins are over because i remember that during the time where dog themed projects are very popular there were already cat themed memecoins that were also riding the wave so this is not such a shock to me because i have seen this kind of projects anymore maybe it is time that they invest a new theme now from a unique and not so common animal

not much tbh because even though i have heard of cat memecoins alongside dog memecoins ultimately the dog memecoins are still the more popular one out of the two but i remember that there was a project called catdog inspired from the cartoon character catdog

Meme coins are getting more popular these days and more and more people are participating in crypto trading around the world, but to choose the best meme coin requires careful evaluation and joining all its official channels to get good information.
But that is not a guarantee because most of them look good and their value on the exchange is also promising, but most of them have a good price when they are listed and after that if you are late to sell them in a matter of minutes, their price drops or even becomes worthless.

Well, at least the risk is lower compared to an exchange, where volume can easily be manipulated. Crypto manipulation will always be there, especially in altcoins, and even more so with meme coins, which rely purely on hype to survive. That’s just how the game works, without hype, these coins don’t stand a chance.

If a memecoin is being hyped doesn't mean that it is going to remain the way like that for so long, before you can realize that, they are already on dip and people making profits were already on loss, any of them could show indication for good performance as soon as they are receiving steady investors, we should have more sensitivity on them because they can fall the same way they took while rising.

I'm not surprised at all; we have a community that loves to invest in memes so whatever meme comes along, be it a frog or a cat or a spider or a bear, it doesn't matter as long as it has a good narrative to feed and attract investors.
I stopped investing in memes. You are just burning your money investing in these memes, and many newbie investors are deceived because of these whales who keep posting their earnings investing in memes.
Memes investing are manipulative; if you do not know how to play these games, better leave it and just go for proven coin and just HODL. This is less stressful than investing in memes.

It's better to stay away from such coins which don't have any realtime use case or strong business model to back up as they flourish only due to hype and perish once those flourished with the coin decides to cashout. I'm very sure that most people myself inclusive usually indulge in memecoins because of the quick gain hence why I try to participate in every events attached to the memecoins I invest in. For instance I took part in the listing Carnival for $MAXWELLCAT on BingX and It's all for quick profits that's all.  95% of memecoins that are here today will not be sustained in the coming months or years. Only a few, the likes of Doge, shib etc.

I think you misunderstood the angle I'm coming from. I'm quite aware that memecoins are here only for a short time and mostly thrive on hypes.

I'm just pointing out that there are more cat-themed memecoins as of now than there are for dogs.

Regardless of what kind of memes these are, these are all pump and dump tokens where investors are going to lose money if they do not know how to play this game.
I don't care what memes should take over and investors should also ignore these memes, whatever kind of memes these are; this is just a continuation of the memes era because developers want these memes to continue to rug pull and make money out of gullible investors.

As a general rule, stay away from any token that has an unlimited supply and a price starting from $0.000XX, as these tokens are easy to manipulate and can be pumped 100% to 1000% within hours.

If you've seen my response to Aviz, you'll understand that by taking over I meant that there are more cat meme projects than Dogs. Besides everyone who invests in meme does so not for any future value or not because it offers anything unique other than quick gains.

When I traded MAXWELLCAT on Bingx I clearly did so for profits that's all.

Its good that you emphasize this, lest people think that you are shilling these cat-based memes, and I agree that if you are going to participate here it should be quick for profit, and do not think that you will benefit here in the long term because you will not.
If investors do not know how trading on memes works, better stay away and just keep your coins in your wallet. There are countless people who got burned playing on memes, so don't be part of these countless.

We can liken this meme, be it a cat or dog or a famous personality, to a Ponzi scheme: the early birds will get the most profit while the late investors will eventually get scammed. Investing in memes is whales' games because they can manipulate the pump to make it appear that its getting support. If you do not know how to read their action or do not have insider info, you will get burned.
So only invest if you have these two.
