holmes-funding.com

This site presents itself as an online investment platform that promises astronomical profits (up to 410% in 30 minutes). Such claims usually sound the alarm bells of a scam or pyramid scheme.
Image of the plans

The home page of the site has a photo of the license and details of the company, which is owned by Holmes Funding Limited with registration number 03982428 in the UK and its address is 2 Triton Square, Regent's Place, London, NW1 3AN. But when we look at the investment plans, it is clear that these numbers do not make sense. Moreover, the statistics it shows (such as 15 members and deposits and withdrawals under $ 100) contradict the claim of "the best investment platform". If it was the best, the whole world would have known about it.
Image of the license and company information

It is claimed that they work in the field of cloud mining of digital currencies, but there is no information about the team or managers. This kind of concealment is very common on scam sites.

Holmes Funding Limited with company number 03982428 is actually registered in the UK and has been active since April 28, 2000. Its field of activity is "Unclassified Financial Intermediation" (SIC code 64999), which is more related to securities, not online investment platforms or cloud mining.
The activities that the site advertises (online investment and cloud mining) do not match what is written in the company registration. It seems that the site is misusing the name of this company.
In the company history, we see that the company regularly publishes financial and annual reports, but there is no mention of online investment or cloud mining. This is another confirmation that the site is misleading.
Link to the license information embedded in the site

In the UK, any company that provides investment services must be licensed by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). I looked at the FCA directory and found that Holmes Funding Limited does not have any license to do so and without an FCA license, the site is illegal to operate.
FCA search result

The site uses HTTPS and an SSL certificate, which indicates a minimum level of security. However, claims such as "Comodo SSL certificate" or "DDoS protection" are not confirmed without specific evidence. The lack of information about the technical team also adds to the suspicion.
The apparent security of the site is not a proof of its reliability and requires a deeper investigation.
The domain holmes-funding.com was registered only 4 months ago, while the main company has been active since 2000. This discrepancy indicates that the site is probably a separate project from the main company and has nothing to do with it.
Whois information shows that the domain was registered in November 2024 and its owner is hidden through Privacy Protect, LLC. This, combined with the lack of FCA registration and the inconsistency with the parent company's activities, suggests a possible scam.

Scam detection sites such as ScamVoid, ScamAdviser, Scamminder, and Scam-Detector have all confirmed a high risk of scam.

Where do you come across these Ponzi scheme platforms? Did you find them through social media apps, or a search engine?
---
Most new domains that display fake certifiicates, whose authenticity can be easily verified, and promise guaranteed % high profits are outright scams.

They also try to avoid raising concerns among investors by stating in their FAQ section that no one can lose money by investing with them! Regardless of the so-called reserve fund, which has no proof of existence, they will steal the money and cause financial losses to those who trust their promises and words.

So it's good that you posted this topic. Perhaps there are beginers in this field who could be influenced by their promises and fall into their trap. On my part, I will submit a report to the domain registrar.

A reasonable person that is not greedy should have the sense of reasoning to detect such as an impossible offer to be a reality, this is not possible, how would they also be profitable when they are earning to pay you up to that amount, by seeing some offers, we should have known that it is not going to be possible, but some will say that they want to take such risk and believe on their doubt in taking such offers, before you know it, they have nothing to receive at last from them.

The interesting but thought provoking point is that the probability of anyone encountering these sites is high, such as in app ads (such as games or programs with the purpose of making money online), site ads, ading by scammers, etc
Internet scams are much more and more widespread than traditional scams and also there are no difficult conditions to face them, which is why we all come across these sites. this ease of access and ability to become more widespread has led to a significant increase in internet scams to the point that it can be seen everywhere and anytime.

Unfortunately  some people fall into the trap of these scams for various reasons, the most important of which is the lack of awareness and lack ofcaution and other than the things you mentioned, things like false confidence in yourself, wrong or too much trust in a fraudulent person who may even be in the role of a friend, are also important.
