GameFi projects aren't actually bad. I have some of them in my portfolio, like $SAND and $AXS (not $AXIE), and they're not doing badly. You also mentioned $IMT, which made me happy because I actually farmed it as an airdrop. I have deposited it on my Bitget account because of the zero-fee policy. It's the same scheme for those early game projects that have became hype but then, eventually the project dropped a lot with the value of its token and active daily users. This is not going to be sustainable in the long run based on what I've seen. But if you're too much optimistic about it, good luck and if the downfall comes I hope that you're able to profit from it.

As far as I know, every gamefi holder who uses their tokens to upgrade characters or other in-game needs usually gets other benefits. It could be like getting a bonus from the developer which could be another source of profit.
