We've seen a new wave of narratives saturating the space since the beginning of last year—AI agents. They’re like memes but with a smaller supply and actual use cases, thanks to AI. Take Siren, for example.

It’s an AI agent that aims to provide users with an intelligent and personalized encryption service experience—essentially simplifying complex data analysis and making it more accessible, according to what they claim.

But do they really achieve this? Has anyone actually utilized what AI agents are offering? If so, please share your experience

I heard about this before but didn’t really pay attention, thinking it was just riding the hype when the market was bullish.

So does this mean this could actually be the trend now? I also have a few questions, how is it different from popular AI tools like ChatGPT? Because ChatGPT also works like an agent that can answer user queries, and it also has paid options for more advanced features.

Ai Agent is quite interesting but according to CZ, it is not necessary for every AI Agent to issue its own token, they can join other ecosystems without having to stand alone.

For me personally, AI agents are very important to simplify my work that smells of digital technical, helps with analysis and so on. This hype is indeed very interesting at the time of AI growth, AI agents as their function with the large number of AI agents that have been created, we can also only choose one of them at a low cost with a simple prompt because I see a lot of AI that requires a Prompt with a certain category to ask them to use their intelligence to help us.

Maybe it could be a prolonged hype but market demand will be more specific and also only a few are able to provide the best performance that can be used by many people.

Nah, not a fan. Imo, it's just a glorified AI tool or just like some AI experts puts it—chatgpt wrappers.

As much as I'd love to talk about how great the tech is, there isn't anyone novel about it. AI apps already do the same basic task and they don't even need to release a token with it. These AI Agents just make it seem like a cashgrab similar to the ones we saw during the ICO craze and even IDOs, Layer-2s as well.

Too saturated and nothing substantial. Just hype.

like other mentioned, AI agent seems overrated, some random guy can literally kick start an AI agent with something like cursor editor integrated with AI and you can vibe code for 10 minutes and your AI agent is ready to be deployed.
since barrier to entry is low anyway, market can be flooded with similar AI agent, even more so if some of AI agent went open source, some could just fork and change name.

moreover, there must be someone mantaining computing power to run the AI under the hood, doesn't really feel like safe investment when you got one single point of failure like that.

Probably cos it's more tailored for analytical solutions, chatGPT is broad spectrum. I haven't tried it out yet, but will do that this week..

I thought AI agents hype already faded, people also don't usually care about underlying utility that these AI agents have, what they care is speculate.
but to be honest, AI agents seems more suited for centralized service, not decentralized blockchain, even implementation always feels janky.

I believe AI agent is just chatGPT but with access to certain tools like it can access API, do something, make analysis from the data supplied and stuff, so it's more specific use case where chat GPT just answers question.
it's more like chatGPT is a lecturer that you can ask question and AI agent is your employee that you can tell them what to do.

I have not really been hearing much about it any more than other crypto trends so I do not think that this has blown up just yet. Though I suppose it is best that I know about this trend a lot earlier than most, right?

I guess the answer would be AI agents work mainly for and with crypto. It analyzes data and creates strategies and decisions for a crypto investor or trader. The main difference I find is that AI like ChatGPT has a fixed data or answers they can give while AI agents adapt and make situational decisions. It also manages portfolio and the likes.

These projects are primarily aimed at promoting the project and funding is usually due to this promotion but rarely do you find any real benefit from these projects.

I have heard about AI agents, but to be honest I don't see the actual benefits they could offer to the market as a token or coin running on a Blockchain.
I would dare to say it is just the new buzzword which is being used by creators of coins and tokens to take advantage of the hype some people could feel on such new technology.
It is similar to what happened when AI coins and projects started to appear on the market when ChatGPT got popular. Most of people continue to use centralized artificial intelligences instead of those so called decentralized solutions.

One needs to be careful and identify when someone is trying to shill us a coin with word salad which actually does not mean there is value behind the project.
