You obviously get a bias answer here since all people here use Bitcoin so for sure everyone would prefer that coin over stocks.

But if you ask this question on neutral platforms then provably that you will get a valid inputs and not some biases towards certain things you asked here. We provably know how good Bitcoin is that's why I choose to invest with it.

I don't do any stocks its because I have less knowledge about it and not confident so far to participate on investment activities in that area.

I think not really. Yes this is a BTC forum but it can still be like any other websites out there. I mean people can also do or use other things, except only maybe for those who are hardcore ones. They are the ones that can get biased. I think stocks and BTC are not that far from each other. Maybe many of us are only intimidated about them as they look serious. You know, it was the company's name is showing there but BTC is like a high-tech stuff that many (millennials) can easily relate with. But IDK, maybe for some it was the opposite and they also think that it is more trusted. We still can try and venture that field though if we have time and peace of mind.

Obviously BTC. I'll give you some reasons for why it's superior:

• Stocks are traded on exchange and you have to go through one to buy any. Bitcoin can be earned, shared between friends and family. I can exchange it for cash or via ATM
• I can buy goods with it or get a store credit.
• It works 24/7 and I don't have to wait for a trading session to open.
• Can't go bankrupt like a company, can't be affected by war in the region.

Bitcoin is much better than any stock.

Since it is a BTC forum, there are only bitcoin investors here. I don't think stock investors and those who don't invest in bitcoin will be active here regularly, so bias is inevitable. Like you, are you active on any stock forums? Or do you regularly watch stock related news when you are a bitcoin investor?

We choose bitcoin/crypto over stocks/gold, real estate. Simply because people love the huge volatility of cryptocurrencies and wants to get rich quick. Something people think the stock market/gold can't do.

I like the fact that bitcoin, unlike stock, has no entity that represents it, like just see tesla, elon musk's bad opinion on the internet can spark conflict and as a result tesla stock going down in value.
but with bitcoin, you can have peace of mind that no such thing as what happened to tesla could happen to bitcoin.

BTC and its growth is its own marketing tool, for all the parties out there.

And it will become more scarce and scarce, so we can't deny that in the future, people will want even sats to be hoarded.

It is not mainstream though. Yes, it is popular but it is not like reddit or quora. Most of the people on here are ones who are already into bitcoin or would like to learn about bitcoin. I’d be surprised to see a bitcoin hater here.

Most likely there are a lot of bitcoin investors who are also investors of stocks. Once you invest in something you are gonna want to focus on this kind of industry and might want to explore various markets.

All I've ever needed to have done is compare performance between Bitcoin and stocks over the long term to know what I'd prefer. In the long run, volatility means less and performance means more.

Of course, because this is a bitcoin forum, much of the love and selection will be towards bitcoins, but why does it have to be one and not the two? Multiple investments to become multiple sources of income have always been what is most advised.

Only Bitcoin and when it comes to Bitcoin then there's no if or no why. Bitcoin as we all know is the king of the crypto market and in just few years it has gained way more value and trust than most stocks. In my own personal preference Bitcoin is more than 10x to even 50x a better investment than stocks.

Actually both! Also I invest in precious metals like Gold and Silver. When it comes to investment, I always diversify my portfolio whenever I have some funds to deploy. I don't choose a single asset, ever. My investment is always a bucket of assets that includes Bitcoin, ETH, Gold ETF, Silver ETF and stocks. I may adjust the amounts based on market conditions.

When I see stock market going down and crypto is up, I deploy more money into stocks and vice versa. That's how any investment should happen. Having one asset is risky and not recommended.

The investment that I like, easy for me to understand right now is Bitcoin. So I choose Bitcoin.
I might do stocks too but not for now because I don't have sufficient knowledge. Rather than following along without any background knowledge, I think it's better not to get involved.

Another reason why I chose Bitcoin and not stocks is because to invest in stocks I don't have any relationships that make it easy for me to invest in stocks. I don't want to do it just by finding out the source from the internet.

I have experience of stock before I start investing into Bitcoin. The main difference between two is that in stock there are scores of companies registered from which you have to choose the companies you are interested in. While in Bitcoin (not alts) you only have to focus on Bitcoin alone i.e. study it's previous price chart that help you in developing a strategy on how to proceed. In stock, I have also noticed that your chosen stock may never go up despite the fact that you have studied the stock well and it's future indicators are positive. That's why to me Bitcoin is my only choice of investment now.

It all depends on our individual choices and how we've strategised our plans, they both are good but for stocks is more preferable due to it’s growth longetivity and we should not forget that stocks have along history

I have both but my stock positions in total are much bigger than my btc position.

Btc has limited supply and big demand for it. That’s why it will keep going up. That’s the fundamentals of btc. It has no earnings, income, sales etc… So traditional fundamental analysis doesn’t apply to btc.

Stocks reflect the mood of the economy/customers which is pretty easy to predict.

I have diversified portfolio and it performs just well. No need to pick one over another.

Both are good to be honest. Stocks for a steady investment since it's pretty consistent and growth or if you want some dividends, stocks is a go-to investment but of course unlike bitcoin, it's very traditional but if you're looking for more modern system, then bitcoin. It's global adaptation is already happening and more to happen soon, people are shifting to it and looking for a good spot to invest. The only con in BTC is being volatile BUT you're the one who controls it of course, in order to have a consistent gain in crypto, you really need to take advantage every ups and down of it like riding the flow.

Bitcoin definitely. I find it very easy to manage especially if you understand your investment well, and you have all the patience to hold it for long term. As long as there is DCA, bitcoin investment will surely work in the long run.

While I have been hearing also that stocks is also a profitable investment, but I have not done it all my life, not because I have no capital to start, but because stocks investment does not really attract me. It only sounded for me like it’s best only for big-time investors.

I have never been involved in the stock market - I have never even tried to find out more about how it works, so of course bitcoin is the only investment asset that I am most familiar with. Bitcoin has answered all my questions about real investment - because of it I have improved my financial condition and because of it many things in my life have changed. Even if I am not a bitcoin maximalist - but bitcoin has given me the returns that I have always hoped for, that I never got from some other real investment assets.

Greater volatility and better markets as it's open 24/7. The institutions are also into it. Anyway, not that long explanation about why everyone is going to choose BTC here, you're in a bitcoin forum and this is much the preference of the majority here. But I think even if you ask this on a stocks forum, there will be folks choosing BTC over their stocks preference.

What I dislike most about public companies in the US are the ridiculous CEO compensation packages.

I never understood why American CEOs always receive such large pay packages regardless of their performance.
They could run the company into the ground but always get to leave with a massive compensation package worth millions
or tens of millions of dollars.

So what incentives do they have to work hard and do what is in the best interest of the company?
If they can run the company into bankruptcy and still get to leave with a $20 million pay package then there isn't much.
This causes an endless cycle of CEO turnover. When you are guaranteed $10 million or $50 million in annual salary
regardless of performance you can just wait for 12 months and then leave the company with 10 million in your pocket
without doing jackshit, or even doing great harm to the company.

When employees screw up they are instantly fired, usually departing the company with little or nothing.
But no matter how badly the CEO screws up they are rarely punished. At most they will depart the company
while taking a large chunk of the company assets with them in the form of a grand pay package.
It makes me wonder why do most companies even need a CEO?

In the US this practice is the norm not the exception. Starbucks, Tesla, Boeing to name a few who are guilty.

How the hell does all that benefit me as a shareholder of the company stock? Of course it doesn't.
To the contrary, the savings gained by mass firing of workers often ends up in the CEO and other execs pockets.
So of course the CEO has great incentive to simply fire workers or sell off assets to solve every financial problem
instead of actually doing anything to improve the fundamentals of the company.

Companies listed on the US stock exchange are supposedly bound by a fiduciary duty to their shareholders,
but in practice their primary duty is to benefit the CEO and executive team.

Which is also how it works in the altcoin market but these problems are even more pronounced and much worse.
At least with stocks being regulated securities, you have some protections as a shareholder, but none of that
protection exists in the shitcoin altcoin market. It's just the Darwin wild west and law of the jungle.

Of course I chose Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first form of investment that I know, and besides that I understand the risks involved and also feel and know the benefits that can be obtained which in my opinion when compared in terms of profit Bitcoin is much greater when compared to stocks.

And I myself do not really know about stocks because I do not have any interest and I only want investments that I know and understand like what I do with Bitcoin, and many people think that Bitcoin has a much greater risk than stocks. And in reality I do not know or even feel the risk as long as I treat Bitcoin for the long term and besides that I will only sell it when it has reached a very large profit, and if that has not happened I will continue to hold it and also accumulate it until the time comes which I think is all very simple.
