You are right. I have no idea what would be the top country where every tax is being used properly since we would not know for sure unless we lived there. What I know for sure is that it is not my country. Corruption is very rampant in my country and a lot of our politicians tend to live luxuriously and everyone knows that the money they have comes from the taxpayers.

Education, infrastructure, healthcare are all low quality. The state of where criminals reside are inhumane. There are many signs that the taxes in my country are not actually being used for the country.

But these years there has started a downward spiral in these countries. While they managed to maintain state infastracture, they failed to include community in their state building. Many people became dependent on the state and dwelled too deep into individualism. Now that these countries have started putting forward more and more austerity measures, the society they had built has started showing many cracks.

In Scandinavian countries you'll find people doing drugs on the street, being drunk on broad daylight, domestic violence cases... And the state's resources are no longer enough to protect everybody. And the society is also too individualistic for anyone to care enough to help the least bit.

So even if there countries return a big percentage of the taxes back to the people, it's not enough. Because a state can go through crises too and when state resources aren't enough, if there's no culture of community things can turn bad too regardless.

It really depends on what kind of benefits you value most. Based on this data countries like Norway, Denmark & Sweden offer extensive social welfare including free healthcare & education in return for high taxes. It's said Nordic countries are the fairest ones when returning paid taxes to their citizens through services. It's not cheap to live on those countries, but it pays off. I believe some western european countries, like Germany, are also good examples of returning benefits to the society with money collected from taxes. In Asia, I risk saying Japan must stand out among its pairs too, but someone more familiar with that country could comment regards this one in particular.

For me I would say it's USA, although every country has their challenge but when it comes to utilization of taxes been paid by citizens the US should be number one. They have good medical facilities and good Infrastructure,  good roads and everything that makes life easier for thr citizens of the country. I wouldn't mind if my country would replicate this and demand for taxes, in fact every citizen would gladly pay up. But even if taxes are been paid I doubt if the right thing would be done because the leadership system is a failed one.

If I am not mistaken, prosperous and clean countries as well as high taxes and low levels of corruption, namely Denmark and New Zealand, do not misunderstand even though the country is high tax but about universal health, education And also the allowance in the full funds by the government based on tax income, as far as I know Denmark one of the countries with a relatively efficient level of welfare.

Furthermore, a country that can be measured by happiness and economic success and welfare is Bhutan, even though Nagara is the main income of tax from visitors or local and foreign tourists, Furthermore, the country with the most prosperous and happy level of society, namely Emirates and Taxes and Oil, is the biggest turnover in the country, the fact can be seen by the lives of the people there.

Depends what your definition of best benefits and it varies what people value and see benefiting the citizens. If you see large military spending benefiting your citizens, i would go with USA. If you see equality, free healthcare and education and government taking care of most vulnerable ones as those benefits, i would go with nordic countries.

It's usually where the highest tax-rates for the rich are, where you get most benefits from them as a citizen.

Yes you are right. Less corruption and good measure of development are part of the criteria for knowing the country that utilizes the taxes collected from citizens and other migrants in their country. So which countries are less corrupt and developed
is now what will be considered.

So there are some yardstick to measure a country that is developed, these includes, high standard of living and life expectancy rate, high GDP, industrial, infrastructure and technological growth and advancement, access to healthcare, education , developed financial services that works. To me I think the scadanavia countries have more of these criteria, like Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark etc.

One way of looking at it is the Global happiness Index. The people are happy when the government takes care of them, when they are provided with their basic necessities like education and healthcare without the fear of going bankrupt. So that's where we can see which government is doing well in terms of providing to their citizens. So as per the index I guess these countries are doing fairly well,

Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Also these countries provide a high quality of life to its citizens. So I think I can safely assume that these governments are the best governments when it comes to giving the benefits back.

It's hard to say, because I wouldn't really know about how other countries handle the tax collected from citizens but I can say for sure that my country gives zero benefits to citizens for the tax collected, and I'm not saying that other countries are perfect but I can talk about the countries that I live in, and from my research I would say that Denmark gives the best benefits to citizens for the tax collected because of their strong economy system, low crime rate and high standard of living.

That's what I was going to say. They worked very well until they became the woke garbage they are today, as is generally the case in Europe. Although in all your explanation you missed the main thing, they embraced massive and uncontrolled immigration thinking they were contributing to save the world with it and all they have done is degrade societies, create insecurity, ghettos and only recently you hear some politicians saying they have to rethink immigration policies.

I think the problem is quite the opposite.

Scandinavian countries saw huge competition in the soviet union. A "western" state couldn't be seen doing worse than the USSR who was operating on fewer resources but was allocating its national capital much more fairly. So there was a combination of two events.

First Scandinavian states received favourable treatment by large powers. For instance Norway is one of the few countries in Europe that America showed no objections in developing a national fund and managing their own oil. To this day the EU doesn't pressure Nordic countries against giving subsidies or having nationalised industries. In stark contrast southern European countries like Spain, Greece, Portugal have seen tremendous EU pressure to privitise everything.

Under this favourable treatment social democrat governments in Nordic countries were taking to the stage offering anything and everything just in order for the communists to not advance their grip on politics. You will see some countries even banned their communist parties, but most just funded extensive propaganda against them. The goal of the social democrats was to show that social elements can work within capitalism.

But now the world has changed. The USSR doesn't exist anymore to pose as competition. Now Russia is a perceived threat against the ruling status quo. There's no more cheap gas, fertilizer or grain from Ukraine now that we cut off Russia and Ukraine is destroyed... So it's very hard for Scandinavian states to sustain their big governments without austerity. Which has been causing their economy to slow down and also been followed with many societal problems like low fertility rates.

Now the politics have been turning much more reactionary. For the first time in 100 years Sweden saw a government without social democrats in it. People are realising a social state can't be sustained within capitalism, because with the first chance given the big interests will strip your rights away. But after over a century of suppressing real socialism, the worker movement is in shambles and is struggling to form an organized response, so the upoortunist right rushed in to take power.

Of course before citizens get to earn benefits from it country, there should already be stability of economy infrastructures that are fostered to revenues, securities, hospitalities and education for the people.

Op actually did not made mention of what aspect citizens taxation he is referring but let me assume it is a personal tax in an overall, which then is best to the UAE where personal income is totally zero (0) % with a very convenient ecosystem.

I would say I agree with people on Scandinavian countries and Singapore. While we are all famously knowing that Scandinavian nations have a way to make sure they are doing alright, we also need to remember that they are not as left leaning as they used to be, which means things may start to change, well their "right" is still pretty left compared to most nations, so I am sure if they get worse, that would take some decades before it gets anywhere near rest of Europe.

However, Singapore is much better, it is easy to go get located there if you have a business, and they are not even taking taxes for most part, and you just have to end up hiring people and fill some requirements, but if you are a big company, having headquarters there is a big benefit.
